  1. I agree, what was the point of investing time and effort into rehabbing and holding onto him if not to keep him. I'm not sure how much more we could expect out of a guy in camp and preseason (thus far). He's exceeded expectations and has risen to the top of the competition. I'm not sure what Kumerow offers @ this point (yes he plays ST's). If it's between him and Crowder, he's outshined him and he's home grown. Maybe Hodgins isn't the slot replacement but, Shakir has shown enough to back up Mackenzie in the slot and make Crowder expendable. I'm with the OP on this, he needs to stay imo.
  2. The dead cap hit is brutal. I still like Tommy Sweeney, I hope we don't have to let him go as a result. Also, 3.2 mil is like 1/2 way to OBJ isn't it?
  3. Maybe his new Wajer 77 Yacht was just delivered. (Already owns a Wajer 55s). https://985thesportshub.com/2021/05/06/tom-brady-yacht-photos/
  4. I also think McBeane like having a guy experienced in the Bills system to run the scout team and help with preparation. I can see Barkley sticking with the team in the Davis Webb role for another year or two even. I think it's a good system that helps the young players get the most out of it and helps the coaches as well.
  5. They praised AJ last year too. They said he was a beast and made big improvements etc. Its all smoke, the guy is slow, hes not a power rusher, has no moves and is stiff as a board. Im sure hes a nice guy, but hes not an NFL caliber starting DE.
  6. AJ is just not NFL caliber, he may stick for another year due to his rookie contract and draft position though. Moss will probably stick for another year as well. Ford probably wont make the cut
  7. I dont remember Ritchie as a penalty magnet. As for Trevor, it looked like they were swinging at him. Thats a 1st down imho.
  8. IDK, it looked like he was dominating those guys. I like it. I also liked Ritchie, It was sad to see him struggle off the field.
  9. Eddie once presented me a trophy for little league football (1980..ish). 😄 Good natured affable guy. 👍
  10. There are mediocre to bad teams that will be willing to throw the bank @ Edmunds next year. No chance he remains a Bill for that reason alone. (Unless he accepts a Bills contract that is grossly under his market value).
  11. Sleep is for the weak. There are always things needing to be accomplished, and none of it happens in bed.
  12. Bruce was an amazing talent and player for sure, worthy of all the football accolades one can throw at him. He's also a total douche off the field. If I cared more, id look up some of the old press about him. I've run into Bruce several times during his playing days and I don't ever recall being a part of one or witnessing a positive interaction with Bruce. That said, I'm not hating on him, but i think people need to remember who he has always been. Don't be blinded by his blazing stats.
  13. I don't know what our level of interest in AB was, but it seemed like we were pretty interested at one point. That would have been a deal breaker for me, as would Watson. The older I get the less tolerance I have for this.
  14. Great interview. Another pretty likeable guy and local too. Let's hope he balls! Go Bills!
  15. He's pretty charismatic, I like him and I'm rooting for him. Go Bills!
  16. I heard Eric Wood say he has a hard time finding a house big enough for his giant family every time he moves! What a nightmare that must have been for him. Love me some Fitzy though! *salute*
  17. I like this signing. It certainly doesn't hurt us and we could use a good return man. If his wheels still spin up to speed then come be the best version of himself and earn a spot! I like it.
  18. I just don't think you can compare any of these stats to the modern day NFL. I think Brady and Manning were the beginning of this new pass happy NFL, where throwing is the norm and DB's aren't really allowed to get physical anymore. It's turning into a game of highlight reels. I prefer the old gridiron tbh, where making a big catch or significant play meant something. For elite teams the NFL has become increasingly more and more like basketball, where it's a game of possessions, end of half, end of game. /rant off.
  19. I'm a Shady fan so I'm a little biased, but I like his post career commentary. I think he's a pretty straight shooter, at least from his perspective. I find this pretty believable. Not everyone makes a great head coach for sure.
  20. Let me take a stab at how I think this unfolding. The team would like to sign him at a fair value. I'm sure they offered or at least hinted @ what he's worth to the team. They'd make him top 5 ... or something but they're not making him the #1 paid player in the league. Lamar has been saying something to the effect that he wasn't ready, or didn't want a new deal yet because he wouldn't be satisfied with his play until he was the best or, #1, or something. That translates to; I know my #'s don't say I'm the best, but you have to be ready to make me the highest paid player in the league before we even speak. Everything comes down to $. LJ has a good idea the team ain't gonna pay him #1 $, and he ain't having it. I'm sure he wants the team to reach out with a clear message that he will be the highest paid player in the league, that's all he wants to hear. That would get him to sign, believe it. Otherwise, he'll go full Cartman from South Park if he doesn't get what he wants. If you don't make me the highest paid player in the league, I'll take my ball and go next year. That's how I see it at any rate.
  21. Groot said he packed on a few pounds of muscle, and it's showing imho. He's looking pretty diesel below, I'm excited for his development!
  22. I love Baldy's breakdowns, he's soo enthusiastic! That's a guy that loves him some football.
  23. His highlights are pretty crazy, almost unbelievable.
  24. I won't question Beane's draft, or where he picks who, but as for the player... he will have an impact. His cut ability and speed is undoubtedly gonna lead to some big plays this year. It'll be hard for haters to hate then. Also, with Dorsey's new offense and the signing of Howard and Crowder and now the addition of Cook, it looks like Moss and McKenzie will be the odd men out.
