  1. He has issues just running. He trips over his feet and the turf regularly. I think it was Rex that said this regarding receivers; "He's a receiver, if we're talking about his ability to catch the ball, that's a problem." Anyone would be a better option than McKenzie @ this point. Cole will instantly supplant Isiah in the slot.
  2. Everyone wanted DK. Ford was a gigantic miss period.
  3. I think it just means that we all recognize the task @ hand. Anything short of the Lombardi will ultimately be a disappointment this year. The only way it would feel better now, is if we were blowing people away every game, week in and week out, and that's sorta fantasy land to do all season long to some very good teams. I like the fact that national media has been writing us off the last couple of weeks. These tight and gritty wins through adversity are good for a team (as someone brought up in another thread). I think we'll start hitting our stride after we beat Miami on Saturday and start peaking right as we're rolling into the playoffs. This is the way. Go Bills!
  4. Josh starts yelling at everyone when he's changing the play. It's become pretty obvious.
  5. He's also a pretty likeable guy, I ❤️ these Bills! And who doesn't love yelling out; GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! Go Bills!
  6. I can't help myself but root for him now. He's a character and I think the NFL is better with a productive Mayfield. Good for him, I don't mind seeing him playing spoiler coming down the stretch ,
  7. ACL's typically take 2 years before players feel comfortable again. Not good.
  8. His route running is next level, I mean just look at the 2 plays where Gabe and Diggs ran the same endzone routes. Diggs had the guy looking for his Jock, we're definitely watching something special here. He has it all, his short game is good, his long game is good, he has over the middle toughness, he seems like he's getting more yac this year too (too lazy to look it up). I love his passion too, he's come up with a couple of good sound bites this year that had me fired up too.
  9. He had a hell of a game last night. He'll definitely get paid by someone next year, just not sure it'll be us.
  10. He has been, certainly better than Benford and Jackson. There has to be more to this.
  11. He get's in for a half dozen plays or more, he gets targeted 2-3 times and walks away with a long one in the 1st half cause they're sleeping on him. I ❤️ me some Smoke Brown. Let's see that dance tonight!
  12. Hopefully this one sticks and we never have to hear about this guy again. He's clearly a menace to society and should be dealt with, including involuntary hospitalization if that's what it takes. Zero sympathy for this predator.
  13. I think Gabe has been a bit of a disappointment this season. Had he taken a big step up, we might not be as harsh on the O in general. I think Dorsey's use of Knox hasn't been great either. Yes, our O-line needs help, yes he can stay in and block one in a while or help chip, but man call him a few plays, try to get him the ball. And while I didn't love how often we called those McKenzie sweeps under Daboll, I think we did find some success with some of that misdirection stuff. Lastly, we're sorely missing a reliable slot option, too bad Crowder got hurt, Mckenzie isn't the answer here, (maybe Bease) and I actually think T. Austin might have been having some success here, had he stuck with the process and bided his time. I'd like to see less Mckenzie here and more Shakir for now. He hasn't proven himself unreliable, lets give him more chances to get open. Clearly the Dorsey transition hasn't been as seamless as we thought it would be. There's plenty of time to rectify it. Knox needs to get more involved in the passing game and block less. This probably means incorporating some more roll out designs or spread concepts and just let JA work. We have enough to get it done, recalibrate the O play calling and design a little bit and get'r done. Go Bills!
  14. I'm a T.O fan. While only here for 2 years, he gave it his all and was a solid teammate. The press in Philly and Dallas are pressure cookers, I think he was maybe unfairly demonized early in his career. The outbursts he had @ D.McNabb for coming up short are totally understandable and mild by todays comparisons. Yes he was full of himself, but show me an elite WR that isn't. I'm glad he didn't get hurt or worse. +1 T.O, Go Bills! P.s. It looks like he peppered him a couple times before ending it. Good for him!
  15. For what it's worth, It irks me when people hold up a flight because of their self importance, or lack of respect for others. Don't be THAT guy. -1 OBJ.
  16. Someone upthread said he played +40% of the snaps in the game, of those snaps, i'd wager he was the 3rd of 4th option each time. I know its hard following a thread sometimes. 😏
  17. He's played 44% of the offensive snaps, he's probably been the 3rd option on those snaps 100% of the time. I think our offensive woes lie more with the Dorsey transition than anything else. Using guys differently, calling different plays, etc etc. Give him time.
  18. I think people see the measurables and have very high expectations of him, and then you watch the tape and see him regularly whiff or make the wrong read, or be unable to shed blockers and disappointment sets in. Compared to what we want him to be, i'd say his instincts are not what we hoped for. Not that he' a bad player, or that he's not doing exactly what he's asked to do but we want him to be elite, and I'm not sure he'll ever be THAT guy.
  19. Sometimes I come here just for the laughs. This thread delivers! +1 🤣
  20. I like a heated rivalry tbh. I was fired up when Diggs was, and I have no issue with Jaire yapping it up before the game. He's confident and was fired up and ready to play in a big game, good for him. Sadly, he wasn't matched up on Diggs most of the night. Whatever we say about him personally, dude can ball and he brought some passion to his otherwise limp team.
  21. I'd say because you can't even begin to value a players worth until you see them perform. I'd also suggest if they had a "tentative" deal in place that the Bills would want him in his playbook now and that there's no point in waiting to sign him if this "tentative" deal is in place. Lastly, why would people think Beane would leak this to some off shoot unheard of website reporter. Click bait BS.
  22. Beane would not agree to anything until we know what we're getting. I think any deal OBJ signs will be incentive laden, no real shocker there. Has he even done any running yet? This is pure speculation. BS.
  23. I call BS. This is not how Beane does business.
  24. At least we wont have to hear about Gazelle for much longer. And the people cheered!
