  1. Well... we finally get the guy we wanted. Mr. Big Stuff.... pffft.
  2. This was the splash signing that Pegs wanted to celebrate his new stadium deal.
  3. He still has the bend/lean, count me in!\ ... 6 years???
  4. This was my thought as well. Paying a 3rd down guy over a homegrown every play starter. 😕
  5. I'm disappointed. I thought they'd let him test the market and find his price, but we should have retained him for that.
  6. Thats alot of money for unheralded 3rd down player. He'll need to be out there every 3rd down to see that value and he won't catch nearly as many balls here. (I say 25-30). At least he's good @ picking up the blitz. I imagine this will be his primary role, blitz pickup and outlet passes.
  7. I'm looking forward to seeing Roger run some people over this year. There will be highlights! Go Bills!
  8. I was critical of Daboll @ times and I like the Dorsey promotion, so I'm excited to see the changes he brings. If this is what he envisions I'm on board.
  9. I get it, Belichick demonstrated clearly how 2 TE sets in the moderns NFL can work. If McBeane says this is the way, then so be it. We'll see
  10. 2 TE sets have their place, but it's not an offense I want to transition to with this kind of signing. I'm high on Gabe and I'd like to see us get McKenzie more involved. I think there's probably a better WR/receiving option we could make a play for in FA, by trade or draft. I trust in Beane, but my gut says pass on this move.
  11. Am I missing something? What does Engram bring that Knox does not? I've been critical of Rambo in the past, but didn't he have a good season? I feel like this money better is spent elsewhere.
  12. My first reaction is one of relief. I like Isiah and think we could use him better. Yes, there's always a better player and a better deal but he's our guy @ a reasonable rate. Chemistry, continuity and rewarding your own etc etc etc. It's a good signing, he still has plenty of upside and I hope he get's some creative touches. I like it! Go Bills!
  13. I can't remember if we love or hate Star atm, but this would surely be an upgrade, yes? Maybe Beane can do some magical accounting and make this work
  14. Uncle Mongo's gone, team chemistry is over. 😱
  15. Groot is clearly the future, this would be a solid rotation. We've got guys that can move to the back of the rotation, or maybe not get resigned at all.
  16. He's an excellent edge defender, it'd be a solid signing if at a reasonable rate. He'd definitely earn a bunch of snaps on this current roster.
  17. Good, I'd like to beat Rodgers in the Super Bowl. It'd do worlds for JA's legacy too
  18. I'd like Barkley TBH. If the Giants pick up a portion of his tab (they'll likely have to do, half?) and send over a 5th. They get a 5th and some cap relief, we get a promising player at a reasonable cost. He gets the early part of the season to get his legs under him and maybe he comes on strong for our playoff run. I'd be good with this. Devin shouldering the early load and running with the hot hand in the playoffs.
  19. It'll be Gronk, he'll bring his clown show to town for a year to cap his career. Good player, but I don't want him associated with this team. We don't need him to get the job done.
  20. Ha... someone changed his wiki already.
  21. I'm sure parting ways was a mutual decision. I don't want to make an issue of the vax drama involving him, but to say it has no impact on the Bills decision would not be honest. I think Beane was pretty clear how he felt about it and got some heat from the NFL for it. Regardless of where covid stands now his decision weighed on the matter for sure. Add the other obvious reasons, salary, age etc. and its not hard to understand the Bills position. On the other side, I'm sure Cole also has some lingering and less than glowing feelings about the whole situation too. I'm sure he also feels he's worth every bit of his 2023 salary. He see's Davis and Knox hears about our interest in Gronk and adding speed etc. and he know's his touches aren't going up. I like Cole, but he could probably use a fresh start somehwere.
  22. It's an emotional game and a long and draining season. Couple that with high expectations and missed opportunities and it's not always going to be rosy in paradise. Some people handle this more gracefully than others. If there were "real" issues or ones that were setting us back, it wouldn't be afterthought or footnote tweet. It would be "THE" story.
