  1. Pittsburgh had a pretty decent line to boot and of course defenses couldn’t play too close to the line with brown and the other weapons and Ben throwing 40+ times a game. They really dropped the ball on probably their last chance for awhile at a Super Bowl run. If I was a Jet fan I would be completely demoralized with the entire state of their team and the contracts some of those guys have, especially since they were kind of in the exact same position as buffalo at the exact same time. I really don’t see much to build with on their roster.
  2. WOW.. Some people are just gifted in all aspects of life. My take on some of the other posts in this thread and teamspeak etc etc if buffalo can pull off this win tomorrow I would really love to see one of the guys like Tre or maybe Smoke Brown jump the podium before Allen and hype him up similar to Ingram a couple weeks ago. Josh is going to say the right things and be a professional but I would love to see someone jump in and say what Allen won’t.
  3. Definitely a big offensive line difference there. Singletary I highly doubt could have the same impact with last years line. I don’t think bell is as elite as his Pittsburgh days but there’s no way he’s 3ypc bad. Jets should of used that Mosley money on the line.
  4. I would guess it’s just another game for him. Baltimore didn’t do him dirty or anything. I’m guessing he was happy to get a half season of great stats to position himself for a good contract this year. Probably be more of a fun game for him vs a revenge kinda game. Good news is since Baltimore blitzes literally half their plays on defense Allen can have a monster game if he can complete anything over the top
  5. I would too. No way they can preach the process and draft and develop YOUR guys and then not resign the key players. Milano is mostly what would be considered a nobody, and very few outside of bills fans would even know who he is yet he’s a key to the success of this defense. When he’s out it’s not a very good unit. I fully expect him to get a nice top 10 salary. The only way I can see him gone is if there’s big injuries
  6. And this is why Carolina can’t be a good team. Dude is not that good. Why would you sign him after firing the coach? What if the new coach doesn’t want him? Just setting up for huge dead money. They just switched to a 3-4 and I’m pretty sure Shaq is playing mostly ILB. So between shaq and Kuechly they might have the highest linebacker payroll in the league for non pass rushers.
  7. If I had to pick from this season I would pick Edmunds. He’s kinda up and down but when he’s on I love that kid. When he blows a play up it’s pretty amazing to watch. If I’m going from the past I’d pick peerless price and lee Evans. That was an exciting group. Im in the minority because I wasn’t always a bills fan. In my younger years during the bills super bowl times I didn’t like them. It’s kinda blasphemy on here but I really never liked Jim Kelly as a player. Not sure at that stage of my life if I hated the bills or just loved giving my dad such a hard time when they’d lose.
  8. I have followed Carolina quite a bit it’s my nephews favorite team. Some of those guys are right, they screwed up big time letting Beane and mcdermott out the door. The biggest issue in Carolina has and probably always will be they never have depth. Rivera was very very good at developing talent and “no names” Carolina has churned out a decent amount of offensive linemen who were drafted super late or not at all. For years and years though they just have no depth. Add in the fact that they invested money in players always at the wrong time. D’Angelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Charles Johnson, they paid these guys big money contracts after their decline started. Look at some of the current contracts on the team and they are paying good money to some unproductive players which everyone does, but it kills the team when you have a quarterback not on a rookie deal. Also Kuechly and his concussions have been rough. They attempted to switch to a 3-4 this year and I’m still not sure why, they didn’t have the personnel for it. Also their secondary has been mostly trash for like 10 years. Josh Norman was the one anomaly and we can probably think our coach mcd for Norman’s limited success. We are spoiled with Poyer and Hyde. Anyone bored go look at the Carolina safeties for the last 10 years!! A revolving door of past their prime veterans and guys who probably won’t be in the league very long.
  9. I’m so used to being unknown and irrelevant I’m not sure how I’m going to feel if the media falls in love with these bills. I really prefer being under the radar lol
  10. Like him or not that kid is a straight up professional. Well spoken, very respectful.. And he sure does love buffalo. well done josh
  11. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the micd up. For dallas it’s basically the same thing as the bills game. They look really strong on that first drive that’s totally mapped out and planned. After that.. Yuck
  12. I would definitely chalk it up to the line. They are supposed to be the best run blocking line in the league, well probably until Baltimore caught such fire. Add in maybe the new offensive coordinator being such a young guy, but you’d think Garrett would be all over that if it was just an inexperienced coordinator. My nephew has said for years Dak was a terrible quarterback and can’t play in any kind of pressure. Im no professional but he does seem to miss a ton of throws. Either way Dallas has too much talent to be this bad in a bad division. They quit on Garrett knowing his job is on the line. That says something.
  13. I could be wrong, my emotions were high since I considered the game over and Elliot was on my fantasy team lol.. I considered it an easy touchdown
  14. He’s not my favorite but he is a special player. Love his fire and joking attitude. I was ok letting Gilmore walk but I’ll riot if Tre leaves.
  15. After the bills game I was telling my nephew how dumb the cowboys were for not firing Garrett after that game. The team quit on him last week in their biggest game of the year. One week later they quit on him again and it’s probably going to cost them a playoff chance if philly gets hot. Funny how Dak was an MVP candidate after a couple games and now he can’t hit nothing. He had Elliot wide open on the easiest of passes for the easiest touchdown against buffalo and he missed the throw so badly. He’s not this bad, but he is not a top 10 quarterback. I’d franchise him or let him walk and trade for cam or ride a year with Mariota or someone.
  16. This is why I DVR and start the game an hour late lol. Fast forward is literally my best friend these days. By the time I’m live either the game sucks or I’m close to the end. I find myself to get distracted during commercial breaks and I generally lose focus of the game
  17. It is probably a little premature to call him a backup.. But these guys do need to swing every once in awhile in order to be right. I could absolutely see baker being extremely mediocre for his rookie deal and having to sign a backup deal somewhere after. The talent was there for sure, but was he worth the first overall pick with that mouth and attitude? Most people in the offseason I think knew the mess this would turn into, the browns were hyped so terribly bad by the media. This goes to show that sometimes culture can be more important than elite talent. The browns have a few real legit superstars and have built a talented core but they can’t put it together. It’s easy to blame Kitchens and it’s a brownsy thing to fire him after one full season, I think I would invest heavily in the offensive line in free agency and the draft and give him one more season.
  18. Very sorry for the loss. Wishing the best for your family
  19. I may be in the minority but I really enjoyed madden back in the day. He was incredibly smart but also funny. I hated romo as a player, but he’s by far the best guy out right now. Im also a big fan of Kevin Burkhart? The former Mets guy. Not sure if he does Mets games anymore I don’t have SNY in Tennessee and I don’t watch the Mets much anymore. He’s a good play by play guy though
  20. Best case scenario is probably buffalo and Allen being able to handle the constant blitz pressure and stopping Lamar a couple times and getting up 10+ points. If Baltimore starts fast it’s game over, not sure they can be beat if they get a good lead
  21. The “Carolina connection” is kinda dead at this point. Beane and McDermott’s connections over there are almost completely gone.
  22. I wouldn’t want him back even at the vet minimum. He’s just not that good. We seen the best he has to offer and it’s really not that good. If we are talking last years team with a green quarterback and young receivers who can’t make plays yet sure, this current squad of winning football players who give 110% every play. No thanks
  23. I read a lot of people saying it was dirty to fire him early but I’m sure he was ready to go. It’s win win for all. Carolina gets an early jump in the hiring process. They also get to try out some new younger coaches like Norv Turners son as offensive coordinator. Rivera gets to help his young coaches he hired gain better experience for their next jobs. Rivera is going to get whatever he wants at his next job. He can go on tv a little or possibly land a better head coach job next season. What’s his worst case scenario from all this? Defensive coordinator? He’s well respected around the league he will have a million opportunities.
  24. Not at all, plenty of guys can extend things in the pocket. Ryan cannot.
  25. I took a peak just to be sure, Hooper is already over 70 targets this season. Knox is under 40. I didn’t look at Kroft cause there’s no way he’s been targeted much. Hoopers lowest targets per game was 5, which is knoxs best almost at 6. Hooper by himself is targeted more in Atlanta than all of our tight ends combined here. Add in the fact Matt Ryan cannot run and HAS to get the ball out in less than 5 seconds or it’s an auto sack plus they have a bad o line and zero running game. Allen did not target tight ends last year, and not much this year, either that’s him or Daboll I do not know. Allen spreads the ball around even when someone is hot. He does not force feed targets
