Momentum was on their side. Offense was in rhythm the first time all game, defense was all fired up after they got it. It wasn’t as bad a call as some are making it out to be

I would be just as fine with Yeldon as McCoy. Need that third guy rotating in to help I think. I don’t have an issue with gore getting some touches, but they always seem to be at big moments or when we really need a play. Gore is good for his 3-5 yard pound occasionally and singletary has been a life saver but I think they’re missing that third guy to rotate in and help out.

I didn’t like it, only cause you’re not breaking a 70 yard run. Why risk injuries on a pointless play? If someone important blows out a knee he would of looked like a total fool

It’s mostly a read option with Lamar and Ingram or whatever back is in. Some creative cool screen I’m jealous we can never run lol. Then the play action where they toss over the linebackers mostly to tight ends. Earlier in the season they were hitting brown with that same pass for homeruns. The trick though is always the offensive line. They are so creative and deceptive at starting the play fooling the defense. Nobody ever knows which way the play is really going

We’ll never know because Allen couldn’t see the blitz and the line couldn’t pick it up and he went down in less than a second. And when he did made throws the first 3 quarters they were off. It’s not all on him of course but he surely did not play well today at all. As far as average weapons there are tons of teams with waaaaaay worse weapons than buffalo has yet they seem to be open and move the ball.

Maybe I’m not remembering very well. But his time here was extremely underwhelming. He can’t make adjustments. He has a game plan and that’s it. We screamed at the same predictable run run pass non stop. Baltimore isn’t even running anything special, it’s basically 3 plays with 1000 variations. Either way, we will probably find out better next year. Roman is probably the hottest coordinator this year so he’ll possibly be a head coach next season. And then we’ll find out if his scheme can last.

We have enough weapons to be as good on offense as almost all the teams you’ve listed. Weapons mean nothing when your quarterback cannot get them the ball or your coordinator cannot get the offense in any kind of rhythm. Lockett has not caught a ball in like 3-4 games but he’s better than buffalos guys? Not calling him a scrub or nothing he’s very similar to brown. Let’s just be real, Allen is not seeing the field. I’m a big fan of his and like what he brings to the team but he has a long way to go. To me, take away his running game and his passing is on par with guys like Kyle Allen and Gardner Minshew. Not trying to bash the guy but he cannot read defenses yet, definitely doesn’t see blitzes very well, and is extremely inaccurate at times.

Then why has Roman been ran out of every job he’s had? He has a great playbook but he quickly runs out of options to expand it.

They run a great scheme. Him and Ingram are magic and tricky behind the line.. And they are extremely good at sneaking behind the linebackers for open receivers. The real credit belongs to their offensive line. The line is the first form of deception for them and sets everything else up. I personally do think this is a fad similar to a much deadlier wildcat with passes. But I do not think they can run this successful long term. I will give credit where it is due though Lamar is a better passer than I thought he could be. Not just today but all season.

Cleveland gave up quite a bit thinking the same thing. Atlanta is unstoppable with Julio out there. Crazy how Seattle and KC and Bal and SF and some of these teams get away with not having that guy.

Lol this is one of those fun things to go back and look at the draft threads and how many people FREAKED out we wasted a pick on a slow guy whose game would never translate to the pro level. People went nuts when we picked him

We’re gonna hear it non stop. We need OBJ, AJ, Julio.. We need a name darn it!!!! We get that true #1 Allen will all of a sudden be unstoppable and see the whole field and be accurate. A true #1 would of gotten 3-4 targets today and made all the difference

Yeah we should not allow crooked ref talk anymore in game day threads. That was kinda sketchy on the PI. Raven guy did trip on his own so it’s a justified call, but if that was us on defense we would be losing our minds
