  1. If you don’t see Kroft it’s a good thing. Means he’s blocking well and not being penalized. I’m not sure if some of you guys don’t know who Kroft is or what level of production you’re expecting from him. He’s not Ertz that’s for sure but the guy can play, tight end targets are not exactly plentiful round here and even less so that Knox has shown some elite traits in the passing game.
  2. Yeah I feel the same way. The regular season there’s not much for him to accomplish or prove other than playoff seeding which they will easily be in consideration for a home game. As much as he looks like trash to me, I thought he looked that way last year too. I fully expect him to show up when the games count more. Even the Baltimore game it didn’t even look like New England cared they got trounced
  3. Lol I opened this thread thinking the same thing. It’s also quite nice for stats to have Jaylen Smith playing next to you and Lee helping in the film room.
  4. None of the games are easy, and of course it doesn’t help buffalo is a team who only likes to play to the level of their competition thus making easy games nail biters at the end. I think they’ll be ok vs Denver’s run game since they’ll be one dimensional, Cowboys though could get ugly. The way they run and pass, and play D, they’re the toughest matchup all season. The coaches seem to have a handle on the issues and I expect they learned something about being a little more aggressive last week.
  5. I will eat some crow pie as well as Jackson has done better than I thought he was capable of, and he’s a legit MVP this season. But it’s a long season, the games count more towards the end. Roman is a great great run game coordinator and he’s built an offense that’s fairly unstoppable with all the formations. Still not sold Jackson can last or stay effective long term though
  6. It’s Allen for sure. First game of his pro career he really won the game with his head and not pure athleticism. Daboll thank god is finally adding in the read options and RPO Smoke Brown is a legit receiver
  7. That’s what I was gonna say. We took a big strong 6’5 guy with a cannon and coached him to be too safe with his throws. I don’t want to see the guy tossing picks every game, but I hate watching him miss over and over. He can’t lead a drive for a score consistently because he can’t hit enough passes accurately to sustain an entire drive.
  8. I really like Knox. He has the very scary and feared potential. His physicality running the ball and speed burst are extremely unique. He’s had some ups and downs as a rookie but the kid has the tools to be a top 5 receiving tight end. Not saying he’ll be as good as Zach Ertz or Kelce but he has the potential word.
  9. Levi has held up quite well in my opinion last season and this season. He did probably have his worst series ever on the last Cleveland drive but for as much as he’s targeted when teams try to avoid white he holds his own. Lee smith there’s just no excuse. Time to sit him down. No way the drop off in blocking from smith to Sweeney is that much to warrant all these silly penalties. I have never seen someone false start so much in my life.
  10. In the end the whole “process” is just Allen’s development. Has been and always will be the key to holding a buffalo job is establishing a franchise quarterback that can win 10 years or more. The offensive lulls this season are the only reason people have doubts and don’t take buffalo seriously. We can blame daboll or Oliver or Wallace or whoever is the whipping boy this week, but in the end every game this season is easily won with better quarterback play. Allen is the key to Beane and mcdermott seeing a second contract.
  11. None of the attention matters now anyways. These guys want to be stars and taken seriously, get into the playoffs and WIN. They have no choice but to talk about the team then. I like rooting for the underdog nobody knows about, if the national media picked up the bills like they did Cleveland this offseason I would puke immediately.
  12. I’d be fine bringing him in, I mean he’d just be a depth rotational piece hopefully as long as there’s no big injuries. Work him out at least for the emergency list
  13. I have never seen any actual issues of mods abusing power or getting out of line. The guys who run this page do a fantastic job and there are some members whose contributions on a daily basis are priceless. I love the back and forth on here and I enjoy seeing others points of view. And I’ve gladly admitted when I’ve been wrong in the past. I do see an uptick of keyboard warriors who get pretty disrespectful when someone doesn’t agree. If you forced me to make a complaint I guess I’d whine about having so many “look at me and my completely unoriginal post” people who HAVE to have their opinion validated instantly, but if we made people have to get approval to post I couldn’t read all the funny in jokes and funny mod explanation at the closing.
  14. I don’t blame it on the running backs as much as play calling. Extremely predictable and Washington is not a pushover front 7. They’re pretty stout up front and fast at linebacker
  15. The Washington kicker had a 20 yarder in almost the same spot as Bojo
  16. To be fair the redskins punter came into the game as one of the best this year and shanked one badly too. Something was up with the wind for sure. Not defending Bojo too much I agree I’m sure he can be upgraded. The last punt into the wind was quite good
  17. Gore is going to have games like that. We just need him to be a 3-4 yard pounder. The great thing about gore being so bad today and singletary being so good is that the touches should definitely head more to Devin now. Gore runs straight ahead, he couldn’t do that today and has no speed left to run to the edge
  18. I’m not fixated, it’s the missing element to the whole offense. Singletary has gashed them most of the day, Gore can’t move, the mid range and screen passes look nice, but they run out of options when the defenses tighten up, and that’s where the deep ball changes things and opens other things up.
  19. This offense is missing that deep bomb, let’s connect one today or at least try one.
  20. I thought for sure with the offensive lineman in free agency then picking ford and singletary they built this offense to pound the rock, this line is made to maul a defense not finesse pass block.
  21. I think the game plan since preseason has been the failure here. They are attempting to morph into a deadly passing team and sadly for all of us Allen is not ready. I thought based on free agency and the draft this was going to be a power run season where the offensive line gets to maul opponents with pure power and we mix in a little play action, deep shots and Allen runs. Instead we’re chucking the ball all over the field, which is awesome but it’s not working. Time to slow the game down on offense, stop making silly penalties, control the clock, play smart football and let the defense stay fresh. Just my 2cents
  22. I guess the positives from the game would be we’re still 5-2 and in great shape in the AFC, and we didn’t appear to have any disastrous injuries. If I’m Beane I’m calling Atlanta tomorrow morning and pricing Vic Beasley and seeing the haul for deion Jones if he can be had. This defense needs a energy boost. Atlanta should be blowing things up.
  23. Now that’s what I want to see from our running quarterback. Use that head and make the throw. A+
