  1. Ill be the first to admit... didnt expect KC to be this good. Sitting are 5-0, one would assume that they will be in the playoffs again, perhaps with a first round Bye. So STRICTLY LOOKING AT PICKS (do not factor in White)... was it a good trade? Bills trade 10th overall pick for: 2017 27th overall pick 2017 3rd round pick 2018 (ESTIMATED) 25th-32nd overall pick
  2. http://www.nbcsports.com/boston/new-england-patriots/stephon-gilmore-makes-several-crucial-mistakes-in-new-england-patriots-loss-to-carolina-panthers I rarely ever root against former Bills, but Gilmore was an exception. Always pouting on the field ... always getting national media attention for being "elite" ... never producing. Looks like he's still up to his "elite" ways in Boston as well:
  3. RGIII was the best rookie QB of all time, won offensive rookie of the year, then turned into garbage. Overreaction in this thread is real right now.
  4. Our defense might be a little overrated right now... Cam missed a wide open throw for one touchdown and we made a few important stands that were 50-50. HOWEVER, there's no denying that this is a significantly improved defense. You know what I love even more? Bills had a top 5 defense before Rex came. Bills had a bottom 5 defense during his tenure, with the same players. Bills have a top 5-10 defense now that he's gone. Pretty humbling for the "defensive mastermind" that is Rex Ryan.
  5. You had me until you said John Miller is barely a starter. Go back and watch him second half of last year. You'll be eating those words.
  6. I actually wouldn't mind this outcome. We would have the 3rd or 4th pick overall in a QB heavy draft and somewhere around the 16th for the Chiefs pick. I'd rather see us miss the playoffs and have a shiny new QB than go 8-8 for seemingly the 20th season in a row and remain in "QB purgatory" forever, hoping for a 10-6 season and a whiff of the playoffs.
  7. For those who aren't aware, BarStoolSports is comprised of a bunch of guys from New England. They are primarily Patriots fans. If you're thinking they're laughing with us, their objective is to laugh at us. I think it has been backfiring nicely the last couple of years though ... people seem to respect BillsMafia around the league and I'm honestly not embarrassed to be part of it either.
  8. Every year, the final pick of the 7th round of the draft is deemed "Mr. Irrelevant." I always thought that is a particularly harsh title. Didn't see this posted anywhere else, but do you guys know who was Mr. Irrelevant this year? The prodigal son (nephew), Chad Kelly. Last pick in the draft. Just signed a cheap 4 year deal today. Good luck to him!
  9. Bob Kraft is an investor that was in the right place at the right time. He got lucky in late rounds on the greatest QB of all time and hired a coach that just failed with the Browns and later turned into one of the greatest coaches of all time. He doesn't know much about football, compared to any NFL GM. He is the money guy. That's it.
  10. - Correctly reported before anyone else that we won't exercise Watkins 5th year option. - Correctly reported before anyone else that entire scouting department getting canned. - Correctly reported that Whaley is out before it happened. - Correctly predicted Bills looking to trade down. When's the last time Sully, Bucky, Brown, or Rodak broke a real story? Just giving props where it's due. Glad we knew about all of those stories before they evolved.
  11. I made this exact same post the day of the draft and there were two pages of discussion. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/193576-the-only-question-you-need-to-ask-yourself/
  12. Instead of talking about the "value chart" how about the fact that we just got a Wide Receiver that EVERYONE had graded as a first rounder? If Sammy doesn't play, or even if he does, have you thought about who would be our #1 or #2 WR? Now it's Zay Jones. I'll flip a late 3rd to an early 5th for that.
  13. So, you guys are all pessimistic about what our two 1st round picks are going to be a year from now? Sounds about right.
  14. Bills wanted Lattimore before the Chiefs trade (according to multiple sources). So, would you rather have Lattimore or White plus next year's 1st from the Chiefs and an extra 3rd round pick?
  15. We are "writing off the season" because we're getting the 27th pick in a deep draft instead of the 10th. Wow.
  16. You people are unbelievable. If you think it's a bad trade you don't understand the value chart. It's also an EXTREMELY STRONG QB CROP next year. That doesn't mean anything to you? And you guys really think the Chiefs are a top 5 team in the NFL? Wow.
  17. I don't really understand this argument. Why do the two have to be mutually exclusive? Doesn't it give you a better chance of winning if you collect as much young talent as possible? Who cares that Cardale isn't ready yet ... that's irrelevant. If you see a good young QB at #10 that you think could be significantly better than Cardale (most quarterbacks) you take him.
  18. This doesn't necessarily mean we care about Trubisky and it doesn't even mean that we are in the market for a QB. Trubisky has value. If people think that we're considering a QB at #10 they will either try to hop us and bump another solid prospect down, or trade with us ... which I think is the end game here. Lots of smoke this time of year. Don't forget.
  19. Had some easy concentration drops, not "twitchy" fast and plays like a big body guy without being super tall. Straight line speed is fast, but takes a while to get in/out of his breaks. That's pretty much all I could figure out. Scouting reports say he's not a good blocker, but he looks solid ... plays mean. Would much rather have him in the 2nd and a game changing CB/S/TE in the first.
  20. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/03/20/2017-nfl-draft-chris-godwin-scouting-report-buffalo-bills/ Godwin has been the guy I've wanted since the season ended. I'm still unsure why so many posters think we will spend essentially 3 first round picks on WR by selecting one at #10 when we're a run-first team. Anyway... Godwin could give us really solid #2WR production behind Sammy and potentially even more. Think of a bigger, faster, more explosive Robert Woods.
  21. It's very frustrating that so many Bills fans don't understand the value of compensatory draft picks. Let me make this very simple for you. Brandon Marshall was traded for a 5th round pick. Marshawn Lynch was traded for a 4th and 6th. Randy Moss was traded for a 4th round pick. Anquan Bolden was traded for a 3rd round pick. Greg Olsen was traded for a 3rd round pick. If you would rather have Vladimir Ducasse and Patrick DeMarco, cool. You can wait until after May 9th to sign those guys or wait for June 1st cuts or actively try to sign cut players and STILL GET YOUR 3RD AND 4TH ROUND COMP PICKS. Our front office (and apparently fans) are just too dumb to understand.
