  1. Seems like more than a few people disagree with you. You can cry all you want in another thread.
  2. I really don't want this to turn into a Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes thread. Lets kill that before it happens please.
  3. When Pat Mahomes was lighting the world on fire last year, I found myself extremely aggravated that we didn't pick him at #10 in the 2017 NFL draft. This year, I've found peace with the idea that he's not on our team and here are the top 10 reasons why: 1. With the first pick in the 2017 draft, the Cleveland Browns (who needed a QB) didn't take Mahomes. 2. With the second pick in the draft, the Chicago Bears TRADED UP to take Mitch Trubisky. 3. With the fourth pick in the draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who needed a QB, took Leonard Fournette. 4. With the fifth pick in the draft, the Tennessee Titans stuck with Marcus Mariotta and took Corey Davis instead. 5. With the sixth pick in the draft, the Jets (lol), who needed a QB, took Jamal Adams 6. With the 7th pick in the draft, the Chargers took Mike Williams instead of an heir to Phil Rivers. 7. With the 9th pick in the draft, the Bengals picked John Ross instead of Patrick Mahomes. 8. All of these same teams ALSO passed on Deshaun Watson. 9. Yes, we traded down and didn't get Mahomes, but we DID get Tre White and a future first round pick. 10. That future first round pick (combined with others) turned into Josh Allen, who at the very least has more upside at QB than anyone we've had in a long time. Hope this makes you all feel a little better as well.
  4. 2017: Played for Rams, best offense in football, and produced 593 yards the whole season. 2018: Played for Chiefs, best offense in football, and produced 519 yards the whole season. Wouldn't exactly said he has been lighting it up.
  5. Not to rain on everyone's parade, but signing Phillips to a long term deal is very risky. https://dolphinswire.usatoday.com/2018/10/02/dt-jordan-phillips-announces-he-has-been-released-by-dolphins/ He has had significant motivational issues and off-field baggage. He has been criticized of taking plays off and being a diva. I love the guy ... but doesn't a lot of this sound familiar?
  6. My guess is that any status we hear about Josh Allen's concussion progress or lack thereof is all BS. If I'm McDermott, I'm making the Titans prepare for both Josh Allen and Matt Barkley. Their two games are completely different. This is actually a significant advantage for us.
  7. The worst part about a message board is that anyone is allowed to post.
  8. I'm really happy for the team. I'm excited about 3-0 and 2019 potential. What I'm referring to is over the top expectations and reactions ... when you think your team is going to win the super bowl and the next week they get blown out, there's overreaction in the other direction. These type of mood swings make our fan base look bad. Remember when the Eagles were guaranteeing super bowls and when Chip Kelly joined how they were going to revolutionize the NFL and everyone laughed at them? Don't be that guy.
  9. I think optimism is great, but it seems like people on these message boards don't know how to use healthy optimism. It doesn't have to be "SUPER BOUL, WE GONNA CRUSH PATS" or "WE STINK I QUIT" ... lets just enjoy healthy steps in the right direction.
  10. Jesus, cheer up. Enjoy yourself for a moment. Our defense looks great, our QB has made good progress, and our team is 3-0 with two road wins.
  11. Good news about Kroft: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyler-kroft-16809/ We can get out of his contract after 1 year. This guy is glass. Drop him in the offseason.
  12. Apart from being a terrible idea... you really just haven't been paying attention, have you? https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/02/josh-allen-jalen-ramsey-feud
  13. This is probably the best idea out of the lot. Makes sense for both teams. Regarding giving away "at least a 1st round pick" for him... that's a pretty bad look for you. Good idea, bad execution.
  14. I'd suggest re-naming this thread. You went through a lot of effort to ruin it with a dumb title.
  15. Taron Johnson is our slot corner and he's very good. He left the game early with a hamstring injury so we had a backup out there. Jets attacked him.
  16. Ok ... so ... a playoff contending team with a need at Running Back doesn't want to pay him. Why would we ... when we just drafted a running back? Ask yourself questions like this before posting.
  17. He gave 1,000 milliliters of blood. Also known as, a liter.
  18. This year's Bills are the single greatest football team of all time.
  19. Wow, super helpful. Thanks. Some of us haven’t been watching every single practice and would like a legit recap.
  20. Can we collect all Josh Allen related pre-season observations here? It would be great to see a summary of all of his pre-season work in one place. Even if you just post links, it would be appreciated. Thank you!
  21. I really disagree on this. Going into a game completely blind is a huge disadvantage. How can you possibly be prepared for a team where absolutely everything is new? There's zero film on how they're going to play and that's textbook disadvantage.
  22. Yeah... on the practice squad. Other than Ragland, who is a backup.
  23. Out of curiosity, I was taking a look at previous Whaley regime drafts. What a mess. 2016: 1st Round: Shaq Lawson - declined 5th year option 2nd Round: Reggie Ragland - traded for 4th round pick - no longer on team 3rd Round: Adolphus Washington - practice squad player - no longer on team 4th Round: Cardale Jones - traded for 7th rounder - cut - no longer on team 5th Round: Jonathan Williams - practice squad player - no longer on team 6th Round: Kolby Listenbee - never played - no longer on team 6th Round - Kevon Seymour - traded for Kaelin Clay - both no longer on team Everyone misses picks, but damn...
  24. He will play well this year because he seems to be a self-centered guy (based on following his instagram for several years). Hopefully he plays well so we can trade him for a pick. There is a zero percent chance we extend him. He doesn't fit in with this regime at all. He's a classic Rex guy.
  25. Tom Brady can do what he wants... he's the best QB of all time. I would prefer not to talk about him, though. Let's just keep his name off these boards.
