  1. There are educated fans and uneducated fans. The educated fans understand the financial side of things and the reasonable expectation that you don't build a super bowl winner over night. The uneducated fans want to GIT ER DONE OBD every single season, which leads to a 7-9 record for two decades. Thank god this franchise is finally aligned with educated fans. We all knew this season would be bad. It's only surprising to the Git Er Done crew.
  2. this is helpful, thank you! please keep posting these
  3. Unsurprisingly, the same people we were warning to lower their expectations are now shocked that the Bills are so bad and calling for McDermott and Beane's head. Thank god our management is finally ignoring the casual, stupid fan.
  4. To clarify, I did not say anywhere in my post that I would be expecting a third round pick or anything like that, so the crybabies can direct their sadness elsewhere. I’m just saying he has more value to contenders than he has for us. That’s when trades happen.
  5. It’s pretty obvious the Bills are gonna struggle badly this season. If we can get a nice pick for McCoy, this is pretty much a full rebuild and he’s only got 3-4 pro bowl years left, maximum. Reality seems to finally be setting in for Bills fans about this season. We need to trade him now, right?
  6. As long as we’re talking Silver Linings... Edmunds looked real good out there, particularly for such a young pup.
  7. I'm buying one now. Oh my god, this is amazing.
  8. Remember when the Bills made the playoffs for the first time in two decades and the Buffalo News decided to run an article the next morning about why being a "true fan" is a mental disorder and we should be ashamed of ourselves? That was disgraceful clickbait and I'm glad this guy and several others lost their jobs because of that mentality. How graceful of you to call this passionate and opinionated, quality writing on your way out the door. Keep patting yourself on the back as the door hits you in the same spot. Sorry things didn't work out for ya Sully ... when you stoop to the lowest levels of journalism, sometimes there are consequences.
  9. If you gave them a C or below, shame on you. They kept the F*ing team in Buffalo, single handedly. They're opening up their pockets for the city of Buffalo and by all accounts, made a good recent hire of McDermott and Beane. It really bothers me how ungrateful you people are.
  10. If you guys can't see what Beane is building, then there's no use in trying to explain it. Mentioning the dead cap for the 2018 season shows a clear lack of foresight and you can't teach a goldfish to look into the future.
  11. How about the fact that nobody got injured? That's arguably the most important thing in pre-season.
  12. As I alluded to in the original post, I think this is the only real debate here. Does putting a QB behind this O-Line with this WR group help or hurt him? I'm of the opinion that bad habits can be created by having bad football around you. QB confidence is also a real thing... I think at this point I feel more comfortable letting Allen sit while we figure out all the other issues with our team and come week 6 or later, when we have an identity, we let him go in there and sling it.
  13. I think this is an interesting debate... Initially I would have said yes, but now I'm leaning toward no... and that doesn't necessarily have to do with Josh Allen himself. The underlying questions really are: "Can you ruin a QB by starting him on a bad team?" "Is experience the most important thing for his development at this point?"
  14. There is only one reason you make this signing: Jon Ryan is a top 5-10 punter with a lot left in his leg. Schmidt has been playing well and getting better, is a great teammate, and is signed cheap. The Bills obviously see an opportunity to get a top guy with Ryan. I have a feeling Schmidt is going to get cut.
  15. It's fine if you don't like Schopp... I don't like him either. I also love Josh Allen. But Josh Allen did not have a good handful of seasons at Wyoming. He didn't even make 1st team or 2nd team All Mountain West Conference at QB. All counting stats, Allen wasn't very good ... and his coach was the guy that coached Carson Wentz to a pretty dominant college career in a similarly bad conference. The reason the Bills drafted him and some of us liked him is during the draft process and combine he got a lot better and showed improvement in mechanics ... and showed himself to be very coachable. Plus the obvious physical tools. If people strictly looked at his college career, he would be a 2nd round pick or later, at best. So ... Schopp is right in this case. There's a reason people were so angry when we drafted Allen, despite how high his ceiling is.

  17. Hey ... buddy .... speaking of stopping while you're behind. Please stop while you're behind. Pretty much everyone disagrees with you and it's time to stop. Just stop.
  18. For your own good mate, time to give up on this thread.
  19. If he doesn't have an absolutely massive week, he will be cut by the following Sunday. The fact that he couldn't track an easy deep ball in that last game is a big problem.
  20. ? I never actually thought of something like this before. Do any of you know if teams have done something like this in the past? Kinda like a Hail Mary play I suppose. ... the defenders would just bat the ball down buddy. yikes...
  21. I'm convinced that these guys dont even watch the games. Here's a great example: Tyrod Taylor PERFECT in preseason debut - I watched this game ... on the first drive after a big pass the Browns ran for 1 yard on first down, Tyrod checked down for 2 yards on 2nd down, then he ran for 4 yards on 3rd down. How is that "perfect" .... Meanwhile (same website): Josh Allen lukewarm in BUF preseason debut - this says he "missed wildly and displayed poor timing and footwork on a few occasions." Did he miss wildly on a few occasions? Most of the throws seemed to be right there.
  22. You might not have heard, but he's 20 years old. Also Nick O'Leary is the nephew of Jack Nicklaus.
