  1. How. The F. Did he keep his job for so long. 20 years of complete ineptitude wasn't enough ... he was also doing this garbage the whole time. HOW did he keep his job??
  2. They didn't have enough ammo to make the trade up to #2. Case closed.
  3. So this is what we're doing now? I know this sounds crazy, but every single analyst gets picks wrong. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/brett-favre-1.html
  4. All I hear about all year is how Mayock is the most accurate mock drafter, how he's an actual scout and you respect his opinion .... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000928186/article/mike-mayocks-2018-nfl-draft-top-100-prospect-rankings Josh Allen #9 overall player Tremaine Edmunds #11 overall player Josh Rosen #21 overall player Baker Mayfield #22 overall player Lamer Jackson #23 overall player So, if you truly believe that you know more than Mike Mayock, then you have the right to bash this franchise and cry about how Allen sucks because he had bad college stats. Be honest though ... you didn't watch any "film" ... you read his accuracy % and watched his YouTube highlights. You don't actually know. Now lets all move on and root for our guys, please.
  5. Is today the most annoying day ever in Bills message board history?
  6. Assuming you're trolling here, so I will suggest we shut down the thread. The Browns haven't disclosed who they're going to pick so the Giants want to see. Everything else is dependent upon that. This is common sense.
  7. Hmm ... wonder where he might go on a 1 year deal to rehab his value.... Maybe a team with the greatest QB of all time that just traded their #1 WR and has money to sign him? Gee ... I wonder how this all ends.
  8. http://www.maxpreps.com/news/VscgGpQZX0mic5Zjbg85-Q/top-10-states-that-have-produced-the-greatest-nfl-quarterbacks.htm I took 5 seconds to google this and California is actually ranked the #1 best state in the US for most successful QBs. Jesus, this is a bad argument.
  9. How about when the Patriots shipped a 2nd round pick out for Kony Ealy last season .... only to cut him a few weeks later. Was there some type of secret deal with the Panthers? Oh god ... NO!!! WAS THERE A BACK DOOR DEAL WITH GETTLEMAN TO TRADE UP TO #2 WITH HIS NEW TEAM? DOES THAT MEAN HE INFILTRATED BEANE AS WELL?? NOOOOOOOO
  10. Don't be surprised when 30 more similar threads are created by 13 year olds on this message board before 8pm tomorrow.
  11. I would be fine with him being a bad Tackle and still having upside ... but he's also a horrible locker room guy and that's obviously not something we'd be interested in, given the new regime.
  12. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-players-dish-on-these-seven-NFL-Draft-prospects/13403889-1714-4a9c-94a7-bed57dfdf204 This article was posted yesterday on BuffaloBills.com ... lots of standard player hype stuff, but I thought this quote was interesting: "Bills offensive lineman, Conor McDermott, blocked for Rosen for two seasons (2015-2016) at UCLA. In 2015, Rosen’s freshman year, he was sacked the second-fewest times (14) in program history. “I had him when he was fresh out of high school, so he was real young, but he came in with maturity and worked hard,” said McDermott. “He came in as a leader from the start. He’s just grown with that maturity and leadership during his three years at UCLA.” Although Rosen is regarded as the purest passer in this year’s draft, some experts have questioned his qualities as a teammate. McDermott was quick to dispel the negative words about his former quarterback. “I know those negative words aren’t true, because during my two years with him he was very passionate and had a strong love for the game,” he said. “He was just a very smart player. Everybody in the locker room loves him. He’s a great team player.” I'm sure Beane & Co. are plugging Conor McDermott and his connections for information right now. That makes me feel better that IF we draft Rosen, we'll likely know exactly what type of locker room presence we're getting. No media BS.
  13. The best threads are the ones where the OP says something incredibly dumb... then continues to defend it in increasingly dumb ways until we're at a 10 page thread.
  14. This is a very smart and important post. One player being traded to a team that has no veteran QB on the roster = all the rookies are busts. Which also means we ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT trade up into the top 5, dummies. Thank you for this info.
  15. Tom Brady's "ceiling": Junior Year: 14/10 TD INT Ratio, 61% completion Senior Year: 16/6 TD INT Ratio, 61% completion
  16. I don't know if you guys heard, but Nick O'Leary is Jack Nicklaus's grandson.
  17. Maybe when somebody told Benrus they had to pay their Bills bills, the accounting department just thought it was a joke and wrote it off.
  18. Please ban this poster. We all knew this post would happen today and now it has. There's got to be some accountability around here.
  19. I don't know why anybody would be against Comp picks. It was created as incentive for small market teams (i.e. Bills) to not consistently get burned by all their best players leaving in free agency and receiving no compensation for it. The only difference between us and other organizations (until recently, hopefully) is we were too dumb to take advantage of the system.
  20. I would suggest watching an interview with Rosen. He really comes off poorly, to me at least. It's incredibly important to win the locker room if you're a QB and folks think he will have a tough time doing that. He also doesn't have a huge frame and has had some injury problems, so people think he will get hurt in the NFL.
  21. This is a statistical based model and college statistics are borderline meaningless. Cool story, but I don't really care about this at all.
  22. "Trust the process" is not winning at all costs. It's being smart about building for now and the future. It's trading Sammy for a 2nd round pick (not "nobody") and trading Dareus because his cap figure was disgusting. This thread needs to die. Zay had a bad first season, so did Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice, Wes Welker, Joe Horn, etc... some WRs take time. Calling him a bust already is ridiculous.
