Getting the #1 overall pick would be incredible for this franchise ... not because there's one good guy, but because we could likely trade down and surround our young players with even more young talent. Trust. The. Process.

Sammy telling reporters he wants a “QB that he can grow with” and that’s why he picked KC. That’s coming from a team with Jared Goff at QB. Kudos to the Bills for getting a 2nd rounder and Gaines for this guy, who certainly would have left in Free Agency and definitely has an attitude problem.

One of the underrated steps forward we took is getting younger. Replacing Cordy/Richie/Wood/ with Dawkins/Miller/Bodine+Groy is rough, but if they end up playing well, we're actually building a future O-Line. The other guys were old.

I think a lot of Bills fans are going to be disappointed if they dont lower their expectations for this year. The roster is not that good and we're starting either AJ or a rookie at QB.

This is a cool story and props to Mahomes for doing what he did. This is also completely different from the Buffalo situation. Allen is competing for the starting gig against two late round picks that have never shown much potential. Mahomes was a very raw prospect playing behind a pro-bowler that just took his team to the playoffs. Mahomes knew "his place" and Josh Allen's "place" is starting.

The coolest kids are the ones who point out spelling errors.

This actually isn't absolutely terrible.... If Bills go 0-16 and Allen looks absolutely terrible, we either use the 1st overall pick on QB or use that ammo to trade down if we think Allen still has upside left.

It's pretty simple, if you actually read what I wrote. If a team is 1-14 going into week 16, I would want them to lose to get a top 3 pick. This year, I just want to see wins. Not that complicated...

I had a realization today ... this is the first year in a long time that I want the Bills to win as many games as possible, no matter what the scenario is. Many years I've been stuck with the feeling of "alright, if they don't make the playoffs, I want to see them lose as much as possible to get a good draft pick." If it's week 10 and we're completely out of the playoffs ... do you want to see us win games or lose games this year? And is that a different feeling from previous years for you?

Assuming you're trolling here, so I will suggest we shut down the thread. The Browns haven't disclosed who they're going to pick so the Giants want to see. Everything else is dependent upon that. This is common sense.
