Bills facing HUGE Clock Management Problem...
Rigotz replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe when somebody told Benrus they had to pay their Bills bills, the accounting department just thought it was a joke and wrote it off. -
April Fools: Bills trade up with Giants!!
Rigotz replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please ban this poster. We all knew this post would happen today and now it has. There's got to be some accountability around here. -
I don't know why anybody would be against Comp picks. It was created as incentive for small market teams (i.e. Bills) to not consistently get burned by all their best players leaving in free agency and receiving no compensation for it. The only difference between us and other organizations (until recently, hopefully) is we were too dumb to take advantage of the system.

I would suggest watching an interview with Rosen. He really comes off poorly, to me at least. It's incredibly important to win the locker room if you're a QB and folks think he will have a tough time doing that. He also doesn't have a huge frame and has had some injury problems, so people think he will get hurt in the NFL.

"Trust the process" is not winning at all costs. It's being smart about building for now and the future. It's trading Sammy for a 2nd round pick (not "nobody") and trading Dareus because his cap figure was disgusting. This thread needs to die. Zay had a bad first season, so did Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice, Wes Welker, Joe Horn, etc... some WRs take time. Calling him a bust already is ridiculous.

Great thread, thank you. Really enriching. I hope Beane reads this so you and him can be on the same page with this hot info.

I'm thinking we might be looking at SEC guys, considering our offensive coordinator coached in the SEC last year. I'd be looking for Daboll connections, not connections from guys far removed from the college world.

2 years, 10 mil for a young QB with upside. At worst a veteran backup. Wow. Beane. Wow.

Sammy Watkins - I was wrong........
Rigotz replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I assure you that nobody remembers what your said, or cares. Congrats to Sammy on a big contract. Congrats to us for stealing a 2nd round pick from the Rams for a player that overvalued himself out of town.- 88 replies

The Process - Now We Know What It Is
Rigotz replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man ... why does it always have to be TANK or SUPERBOWL with every thread. They're trying to build through the draft. That's what they have always said and that's what they're doing. No tanking, no mortgaging the future. -
Per ESPN Bills very likely to persue Dolphins SUH
Rigotz replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Classic ESPN just seeing a team with a need and not knowing anything about the organization. Beane and McDermott won't sign a guy that cleats other players in the head. -
Just giving this one bump up. I’ve seen a few Bridgewater threads lately, good to see this is picking up steam. Seems like an even better move with Tyrod gone now.

Orlando Brown having a terrible Combine

Exactly, like Orlando Pace. ...wait -
I'd really hate to see us spend anything above a 4th round pick on any RB this year.

NFL Announces 2018 Compensatory Picks
Rigotz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
None of this is Beane or McDermott's fault. Whaley made all of the stupid free agent signings that counted against the compensatory formula and voided out our 3rd and 4th round picks. By the time Beane and McDermott came in, they were saddled with a the decision between cutting several integral players while in the playoff hunt or sticking it out and pushing for the playoffs. They stuck it out and we made the playoffs. Remember? Cool post though. -
I've seen a lot of mock drafts that have us getting the fourth best or fifth best QB in the draft by staying at #21. But that doesn't really seem realistic. Lets look at the teams ahead of us: 1. Browns - Definitely need a QB 2. Giants - Definitely need a QB 5. Broncos - Definitely need a QB 6. Jets - Definitely need a QB 11. Dolphins - I could see them taking a QB (Tannehill is Meh) 12. Bengals - I could see them taking a QB (Dalton is Meh) 15. Cardinals - Definitely need a QB 17. Chargers - I could see them taking a QB (Rivers is old) And lets not forget about the Saints and Steelers, who could trade up a few spots because Brees and Ben have what... 1-2 years left? So ... that's 8 teams in front of us and 2 behind that probably need QBs. Maybe Keenum / Cousins / Bridgewater fill two or three openings ... but ... That doesn't exactly leave us with a top choice. What do you guys think?

The arrogance of that girl smiling when the ball went up in the air like she EXPECTED the hail mary to work... ....the pain is just delicious. -
Groy will fill in perfectly at center
Rigotz replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anybody saying we will draft a Center 1st round doesn't know anything about Groy or the Bills. -
Here's the question you need to ask yourself... Do the Giants value Saquan Barkley more than basically ANY OTHER PLAYER, PLUS an extra first round pick? Because, I guarantee you the Broncos and Jets at pick 5 and 6 would trade an extra 2019 first rounder to move up to the #2 spot and take a QB. It would make sense for both sides and load up the Giants for years... plus they would still get the best player in the draft outside of Barkley and QB's, given Pick 1, 2, and like 3 or 4 would end up being a QB or Barkley.
