Exactly. Our undersized often injured LB is now the defensive leader. Yikes. We just don't have the personnel to beat KC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh or Tenn. this year. At this point I'd be happy to beat NE once and squeak out the AFCE.

The defense gave up 27 points and 245 yards of rushing. They average giving up 28 for the season. So how is that a C? I give them a D for every game except the Titans where they get an F. Giving up 17 points to an embarrassing tanking Jets team is worthy of a D.

Everyone knows the Chiefs are the new NFL darlings. Mahomes is the new shiny Brady. If Josh and the Bills want to stop the "pretender" narrative then do something about it. Something more than beating a crappy Cowboys team on Thanksgiving. This yearly midseason "doldrum ritual" is getting old.

Tonight we saw rookie Josh. No confidence or accuracy early. And as usual in big games it seems like he gets wound way too tight. Maybe he was all jacked playing Mahomes and all his challenges to Josh. As I said in another post Josh is not as good as we saw weeks 1-4 and he's not as bad as these last 2 weeks. We just need more consistency out of him. This is year 3 when excuses are over.

The goal should never be the playoffs. You play any sport to achieve a championship. This current 2020 team has a promising qb and terrible defense. This team is not structured to make a deep playoff run. We're basically getting scolded by the OP because we're tired of accepting mediocrity. And yes making the playoffs every year but getting bounced immediately IS MEDIOCRITY. Ask Andy Dalton. Other than the Jets this week I don't see another guaranteed win on our schedule. Even the Chargers (Herbert) and Broncos (Lock) will be tough games. The remainder of this season will be brutal if we don't get help on defense.

It starts at the front 4. These new guys are terrible. Oliver clearly needs Star. Addison might remain but Hughes, Murphy and Harry are 100% gone. Epenesa looks like he'll unfortunately take time. What to do with Milano & Edmunds? Another DB to replace Norman. Aside from a TE, our entire draft has to be defense. And our defensive FA's need to come from anywhere but Carolina.

He's somewhere in the middle. These last 2 games do not reflect his abilities but I think the first 4 games were somewhat his ceiling. He's probably going to be a 95-100 qbr kind of guy. But there's no way he's ever going to sustain a 122qbr and 71% over a full season.

Money well spent. Not......This season has been so wierd. I didn't expect our defense to be so bad. I didn't expect our offense to start off so hot only to stall. Injuries have definitely hit us. Not having Star, Shaq & Jordan obviously effects this defense. Is Frazier really necessary? Is Sean a good game day HC? Will Josh develop enough to warrant the next contract?

So pu Snacks. It's not like Star ever coming back this season. Without a space eater, Oliver is completely lost. Figure out who wants to make plays on defense and who doesn't. After tonight we're still giving up 28 pts/game. And that combined with ZERO running game, puts tons of pressure on Josh. The Titans & Chiefs blitzed all day.

I agree. The most important player to evaluate on this team is Allen. Is he the 4-0 guy who pundits are talking about a possible mvp or is he rookie Josh we've seen against Tenn. & KC? I'm happy for his year 3 development/improvement, but I need more consistency. And realize just because we play the Jets isn't going to magically disguise the problems on this team. Contracts are coming up. Who to keep. Who to let go?

The Dallas game was it. Sean is amazing as a motivational coach and teaching his so called PROCESS. But, as a game day technician he's absolutely awful. I'm not asking for a mad scientist like Belichick who can scheme any team thru it's weaknesses. But for God's sake Sean, have a plan. That Houston game gave us a great insight into his weakness.

Calm down. They literally ran the ball down our throats. This defense went from #2 in the NFL to borderline laughingstock. Aside from Milano and White, every remaining defensive player needs to be re- evaluated for next year. Including Frazier. No spy today on Mahomes? What was that? He could run outside the pocket and either run or throw without anyone near him.

Why does this have to happen every year. You can set your watch to it. Just get rid of Frazier. Let McD just be DC/HC. Our new additions to the D are terrible and the vets are starting to show their age. Our only 3 promising young defensive players have been hurt all year. We have 1 cupcake left on our schedule and after that it's a tough game every week. I'm changing my 12-4 to 9-7. This D is embarrassing.

The completely dominated us from start to finish. Holding them to 27 is hardly a moral victory. Josh/Daboll look lost these last 2 games. The new defensive players Beane acquired are terrible. No spy for Mahomes, brilliant? And now teams know they can run 200+ at will on use.

Maybe we can just play the jets all year. Another terrible performance on both sides.

I agree. With each game he misses, the likelyhood of a robust long contract diminishes.

We have only Tremaine to cover Kelce and he's not 100%. Having Sammy out helps and I trust Tre on Hill, but if you have Kelce on your fantasy team, prepare for a huge day.
