  1. This is what made Belichick so damn good. He made adjustments constantly. Not after a season or a game or even a half. Sometimes it came after a drive. I think teams had plenty of tape from late last year to start using this cover2 shell. They already had the data that our OL & running game were weak. KC used a version of the shell last year and other teams are jumping onboard. And it's working. Until we upgrade the OL this will continue to be our challenge this year.
  2. Ike was terrible last week. 1st and goal on the 3 and we call Moss's number. Boett's man completely blows him up stopping Zach in the backfield. We're dealing with multiple people who need to be replaced. Ford, Feliciano, Boettger. Maybe Williams? Dawkins is playing like Covid. I'd love to see Bates get a chance but our stubborn coaches see otherwise.
  3. Haynes can't possibly be worse than Ford Lincoln Mercury.
  4. Saying goodbye to Sammy Watkins was the beginning of the Process. All Hail the Process. Now find better Olinemen boys.
  5. Last year our OL was weak but Josh was able to athletically camouflage the obvious flaws in our finesse OL. This year our OL has actually regressed and gotten worse. Teams can now totally ignore the run game and play constant cover 2 shell. Brown and Knox will help to some degree this week but we're a long way from fixing the OL. Yes our RB's are incredibly mediocre but the OL is the #1 problem.
  6. So am I. NBA...everyone just shoot 3's.....MLB...everyone just hit dingers.....NFL....throw the ball on every down So just like baseball players use a shift, so do NFL players if they know every single play is a pass. Daboll's biggest problem is not whether teams have figured out his spread offense. It's figuring out what Olineman will play where?
  7. At this point I'll take Ritchie off the streets. I don't think Daboll has a clue what OL sequence is the best right now? That's why we've struggled lately.
  8. The OL has to show me some heart Sunday. Brown should help. Our defense has been money. Figure out the cover 2 shell and take what they give us. If we can turn things around it will be us and Tenn. in the AFCC game. And probably Rams and Brady on the other side.
  9. 16-6 Bills Bet the under and yes Bills offense still struggles.
  10. Nice tackle in the EZ....No call....typical
  11. I remember that play. Reminded me of the Texans game when 3 players all miss blocking 1 guy. Besides Morse and sometimes Dawkins, this OL is a train wreck. I don't think Daboll has a clue what to do?
  12. Kinda like Daryl Williams....money, the great motivator.
  13. Of course. They can steer or choreograph any outcome they want to maximize the biggest SB matchup/revenue possible. They can cover up anything they want, including a stunt like Corrente. This year will be no different. I would be shocked if the Rams don't strole into the SB. And they'll guide the team with the most compelling narrative out of the AFC. Whatever qb generates the bigger rating score.
  14. Obviously losing Spencer Brown and Knox has a huge trickle down effect on how we attack the cover2 shell. Add Beasley hurt and having to count on Daryl playing his old position just killed us. Ford & Boettger were terrible and even Dion struggled a little. Morse is the only olineman who held his own. It wouldn't kill Daboll to occassionally use a "12 personel" formation. The problem is Sweeney sucks so maybe we take a stab at Gesecki next year?
  15. The Packers or Saints made much more sense. Why get rid of DeSean Jackson if you're just going to turn around and acquire the same player? This will end just like Westbrook to the Lakers....badly.
  16. Of course it is. You get a week off while the others beat the crap out of each other. Plus home field throughout doesn't hurt.
  17. It's about time someone admits Josh cannot be expected to be 100% of the offense. Kick the butts of these olineman. Get more TE's on the LOS. Tell Singletary and Moss to attack the holes faster. If you're stuck facing cover 2 shell than have a plan.
  18. Finally saw first half replays of Williams and Klein unsportsmanlike penalties. Both did absolutely nothing illegal, pure phantom calls. And Tavon Austin was the one who held Tre.
  19. Considering how McD buried Yeldon last year, I wouldn't hold my breath seeing Breida play much this season. There's just as few holes in the D gap as there are on the A gap. I could easily see us having 3 new RB's next year to go with new olineman.
  20. We gotta throw a little money at Gesecki next year. Pair him with Knox and say goodbye to Gilliam and Sweeney.
