Was Johnson the OL coach when we waived goodbye to Wyatt?
-
I guess the lesson we didn't learn is solidity your OL first before you go Christmas shopping for RB's. Ford and Feliciano will 100% be gone after this season. And we have a decision to make on Dawkins & Williams longevity?? Way too early to project Spencer.
-
We have no choice. We currently have one of the worst OL's in the NFL. Getting Spencer Brown back will not magically help much. What I witnessed yesterday from well paid guys like Williams and Dawkins was a disgrace. Trade deadline is over. We stuck with these guys till seasons end. >No run game >No play action w/o run game >Josh forced to run or throw on every down. >And Daboll clueless what to do? >Defenses will run cover 2 the rest of the year against us.
-
Did Ford get the same tweet?
-
I wanted Najee Harris but considering how pathetic our OL is it probably wouldn't have mattered.
-
Your most accurate line is Brian Daboll doesn't have the creativity to revitalize this offense. I'll always be grateful to Daboll for developing Josh but he's simply a very inconsistent OC.
-
You said it all in " the oline doesn't seem to care if Josh gets killed". They disgraced this organization and fanbase yesterday by simply giving no effort and quitting. You can't tolerate that.
-
I hope the losing 4 straight SB part doesn't repeat.

Seeing how we filled that stadium yesterday and what little effort our OL gave breaks my heart. I could care less if we had 5 new olineman next year. McD better Immediately shut down "goof off" practices. You think Belichick would allow that crap. We saw how far nice guy Marv got us. The process better include kicking some a ss.

It seems that our identity on offense has changed

This isn't rocket science. Daboll knows his OL is pathetic. He's in full panic mode trying to scheme a way out of cover 2. Opponents laugh at our OL/RB's. Josh has been expected to be Hercules and he can't do it all anymore. This is the result. -
We have a terrific field goal kicker we hate to use

Jesus, we all want TD's especially in the redzone but we're not going to get them as frequently with this embarrassing OL. Read the room McDermott. We weren't moving the ball yesterday and besides the gift FG you handed them, our D gave up 6 points. If you have to occassionally win a game 12-9 then do it. I'll take the W over style points. -

I think because of the slack he received last year from the afcc game he's now gone too far in the other direction. Bass is amazing and maybe we should've taken our chances in OT yesterday and in Tennessee? Declining that penalty was pure stupidity. Please don't let McD turn into Levy. -
Disappointed in Tommy Sweeney

So true...make the effort to sign Gesicki next year to line up across Knox. -

Maybe when he's 35 he'll finally be good. -
Maybe the Bears will be dumb enough to hire him. Please......

McB knew 2 years ago their OL was bad. They splurged on DE and neglected the OL. This is on them. They're reactive, not proactive. Now we're paying the price.

SNF: Tennessee Titans at LA Rams, 7:20 on NBC

I'd fire him tomorrow. Send a message to your OL no job is safe. Protect Josh like NE protected Brady forever. Today was a complete embarrassment. And Brandon you better start scouting olineman like no tomorrow. -
Our main problem may be unfixable this year
LABILLBACKER replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
...not to mention Josh's life. We wondered so long why Josh had to resort to hero ball. Today answered that question. And Daboll has no clue how to fix it. -
Exactly, these PT premadonnas are all powerful and above reproach. You start questioning their supreme authority and there's no turning back. No matter how embarrassing they are you can't challenge them. Jerry will suffer this fate till his career ends, like I said last week in my blackball post. Will Josh's popularity and revenue capacity outweigh his calls from the refs? Time will tell.
