So TE gets an A for his pass coverage and D for run support. I have an idea, why don't we find a MLB who's a solid B at both responsibilities? What are we going to do, bench him every time we play a run team or just wear it and play with 10. We very likely will face the Pats, Titans or Colts before we face KC.

It is tiresome and we've harped about his obvious mistakes for 4 years. Great, he's ok at pass coverage. Whoop de do. That's only half his job. And the other half he sucks at. Sean was probably hoping he'd be some Keuckly type. What a joke. And we're stuck with him and 13M next year. And knowing how stubborn McDermott is, he'll send him out there all 2022 as mlb.

McDermott knew good well in training camp he has nowhere near the OL to run the ball. This is an offseason failure as much as an inability of Johnson & Daboll to teach blocking. This won't get fixed until we upgrade Boettger, Ford, Mongo and Williams. All the training camp rhetoric means nothing McDermott if you already know you're behind the 8 ball.

He better resist this April and go OL heavy or the McB moniker will be seriously on the hot seat. He's just going to have to wait later in the draft for a "diamond in the rough" CB or DT.

Daryl got his money....he doesn't care and his play this year reflects that. Boett and Ford are just bad.

No one wanted him last year as a HC. Bobby Johnson should've been fired long ago. Our lineman literally have no clue how to block. Daboll has struggled more this season with the run game and cover2. I totally agree he's gone if we miss the playoffs. I've never been a huge BD fan as Josh's freak athleticism masks so much of this offense's problems.

100% This has to be the fix. No run game No run stop We're not winning any SB's with that combo.

I like Morse and believe he's been unspectacular yet dependable. He's not as bad as Boettger, Ford or Williams. Obviously this organization knows the OL is it's #1 flaw. Morse's age at near 30 may factor in. My opinion is we need road graders, maulers. Especially if we stupidly insist on an open stadium. We can probably build around Brown & Dawkins but that's it. And Doyle doesn't look like he'll last either? You have decent tackles. Now find great guards and a center.

I don't like predicting mistakes that have yet to happen. But Dane might be targeted alot Sunday. As far as Edmunds goes, I'm done talking about this bust. Give Klein, Dodson and Smith more opportunities.

"Just give it to them"...that's why you don't challenge. The refs were never reversing that terrible spot. McD's history of challenges is awful. I don't know if I want McD fired? He's great at his culture, process and player loyalty (to a fault). But he kinda sucks at being a game day tactician. And his time management is also bad. His loyalty for Edmunds is absolutely ridiculous.

Cook would probably go for 200 against us.

We're so screwed. I just rewatched the Manning telecast and I didn't think it was possible but Edmunds looked even worse. McDermott has to hide him outside next year. Dodson in his limited snaps completely outplayed him. I'm so done with this 1st round bust.

You're right. No one is touching him. The league is well aware of his flaws. The only short term solution would be stick 49 on the outside and let Klein be your MLB against run heavy teams. Scrub the nickel and go true 4-3. When you face opposition without a competent RB, go back to the 4-2-5.

We'll see what kind of "contract dimension" he'll bring after next year is over. I doubt he gets resigned. There's gotta be multiple MLB's out there who can both pass cover and stop the run. This is actually what they should do. After losing to NE the way we did, we're in more desperation mode. Let it all hang out. Blitz more, use the whole frickin playbook. The weather should cooperate. No crazy winds, 5-10mph. Let it all hang out.
