  1. Wow. If McDermott sat Morse because of performance (which I believe he did) then good for him. This has always been his MO Since Day 1, Coach has brought in a culture of accountability and similar to another 'vaunted' franchise, regardless of salary, pedigree, etc.. players are held accountable and should be prepared to lose their 'standing' on the team if they do not perform. This model, which is not new or unique, has been the cornerstone of many a great organization.
  2. Back in the 90's during the Superbowl Run, I remember (I believe) NBC Football Broadcaster saying.. the Bills never lost a game.. they just ran out of time.. and watching this video I am reminded of that....When you truly have a franchise quarterback you are never really out of a game. Also.. can't help but notice that two of those passes were from the same Sunday night Prime time game back late in 94 against the Dolphins. For those that grew up in that era, I think we could all agree.. there was nothing like beating up on those Dolphins... Kelly, Reed, and Thomas always came out to play against them...
  3. Reminded me of Jim Kelly’s fumbled snap against the raiders in the 90 AFC championship game, which he recovered and proceeded to throw a TD pass to James Lofton. It’s official in my books, Josh Allen has ‘it’
  4. The stats show the progress and reflects the 'eye test' that Josh has been passing in most games this (New England game excluded) year With that said, I believe it is interesting that his overall yardage production is pretty much the same year over year. I believe this speaks to something that has not been talked about very often - but the running game is much improved year over year from the OL (Much talked about).. but the upgrade this years duo of Motor and Gore is a significant improvement of Shady and Ivory.
  5. It’s me. I showered Sunday Am because of a family event... Bills are 6-0 when I don’t shower on game day.
  6. I hope I'm wrong.. but if this is true, does it mean that the Pats are acquiring a stud receiver? Like an AJ Green or Mike Evans. Maybe on the bright side, maybe the Pats are finally imploding.. and this is Kraft's way of getting back at Brady for his Netflix / Spa appearance ..
  7. I have to admit this game scares me for various reasons Firstly it's week 2.. and we really don't know how good or bad teams are, unless you're in the upper tier of teams (Pats) or the lower tier (Dolphins). Secondly, and I know the sample size is small.. but we always have a hard time against the Giants and Eli. I don't believe we have ever beaten them (Eli Giants) Thirdly, this just seems like a let down game for the Bills.. Actually feels like early 2015 when we came off a big road win against the Dolphins and we came home to play the Giants, as favorites.. and they handled us. Lastly, watching the offense of the Giants against the Cowboys.. Eli still seems to have something left in him, Engram can be a beast, and Saquan > Bell Anyways, I really hope I'm wrong, and this new regime of Bills takes the tone of McBeane - never too high, never too low... and takes care of business Go Bills
  8. Maybe I just hate the Pats too much or too much of a die hard Bills fan, but based on how the Pats have gone about it, I really prefer being a Bills fan. I absolutely (needless to say) would want 1 Superbowl victory.. let alone 6.. but I think it's important for the team (that I support) to represent something 'good'. I'm not sure if I could define what 'good' really means.. because I agree, the idea of having a team of 'choir boys' is delusional in this time and age. But the team leaders, should be representative of what the team 'is'.. So when I look at this young team, and it's leaders, like Allan, Edmonds, Horrible Harry, and Tre White.. and what they seem (please note seem) to represent.. I feel 'good' about this team. Lastly, when I think about the drought years.. My favorite team of all those years, was probably one of the worst teams - which was the 2010 team that finished 4-12.. But that team had good leaders like Fitzy, Eric Woods, Stevie Johnson (Yes.. Stevie was a good leader) , Fred Jackson.. In turn they made them likable and fun to watch. In spite of their record (and maybe my infinite ignorance).. I wore my Bills gear with pride that year.. So maybe I'm confusing good with likable.. but other then that 2001 Patriots team.. since then.. I don't think they have ever been 'good' or 'likable'
  9. #6. Tom Brady https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2018/01/the-case-against-tom-brady/551837/ I love that our Quarterback eats Popeyes
  10. Was thinking about it this morning... and as much as I want to say Gore or Singletary.. I'm going to say Joshua Allen. With the linebacker issues that the Jets are experiencing going into this game, the temptation to run for young Joshua will just be too much.
  11. Did anybody mention Sheldon Jackson (former Tight End) .. for a short time he worked at the variety store near the Ralph.. that usually got packed before and after game days.
  12. Extend: Playoffs and a victory in the playoffs Fired: Less than 6 wins assuming Allan is healthy for the majority of the season (If he is hurt for any extended period of time.. then I think McBeane get a pass)
  13. Not sure if anybody was there... but I was at the Bills season opener in 2008 against the Seahawks. When the news started coming through that Brady had gotten injured against the Chiefs... there was a loud cheer that came from the crowd..... Just say'n
  14. The pundits may dismiss it.. but this another example of the 'culture' that has been in development since McDermott stepped through the doors of One Bills Drive back in January 2017
  15. Not sure if anybody else brought this up (Apologize if it has) But Does anybody else think that Beane may be building up the secondary in order to trade Tre White for that superstar receiver or D-lineman that he has been linked too? I know in the past, we have talked about interest in Julio Jones and Clowney.... I'm not saying he should do this.. just asking if folks on this board think this may be a possibility
  16. Am I crazy in saying that other then our safeties and QB, from a talent perspective... we may have been better in 2016 then 2019 is this just another reminder how much having a talented QB and a GM and a coach that see's eye to eye, can make us fans see things a little differently
  17. I get your point.. but I don't believe All Pro CB's give up on plays.. Like I said.. I harbor a grudge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R317Rdhw2Gg
  18. I guess I still harbor a grudge.. but every time I see Gilmour.. I see Chris Hogan running past him getting a TD with Gilmour clearly giving up on the play (October 2016)..
  19. I like.. many wanted the other Josh.. In retrospect, it's quite clear that I bought into all the 'stuff' that mainstream media said about Rosen (Being the most pro ready, big college program, etc) vs Allen (small program, inaccurate, big time project).. but once I actually saw both Allen and Rosen on the NFL field.. my opinion started to turn quickly. Ultimately, my 'hope' in Allen resides in a couple of things that we have seen.. 1) He has demonstrated an ability to learn. This really has resonated over the last six games. Any fan can see that game has continued to slow down for him. The is a function of him learning on the job 2) Leadership. It's quite clear he is the leader of this team. For a rookie like Allen to come into this team as a third stringer (granted he was a high draft pick) and come out as the leader of this team (backed up by both vets like Lorax and KW) speaks volumes to me. The future is bright is my friends.
  20. I know this is way out there. but I have a sneaking suspicion that McBeane make a big splash this off-season and trade for Julio Jones .. and give him the contract he has been positioning for the last couple of years with the Falcons Again. this just a feeling.. meaning I have no sources 'deep within'.... found 'Nevergiveup'... let alone met up with Dunkirk Dan.. That is all
  21. TJ Graham. Good ole buddy chose him in the third round when some guy named Russel Wilson was sitting on the board
  22. I'll start to get concerned once he tells us he likes movies with Dakota Fanning.
  23. Regular season opener in Foxboro.. September 2006. Bills taking it to New England.. up 17 - 7 and the Bills are ready to put the a Pats away on a 4th and 1 at the Pats 7 yard line Hand off to McGahee... & of course the Pats stop McGahee.. Pats come back to score a TD... and later win on a FG and a safety. At the end of the game.. McGahee said 'I wasn't worried.. I thought it was Third down'.... At least he didn't lie like JR did.
