  1. Sorry.. it's been one of those days... To my credit I avoided also mentioning where is
  2. Pretty sure I heard Trubisky just hosted Mack in Buffalo. They saw some deer. Make it happen!
  3. Nathan Peterman was going to lead us to playoffs in 2018
  4. Comparing any 'bust' type player to a player with the current organization is just not fair to those 'bust' players Unlike past regimes (especially those during the drought), this regime actually has impactful plans, process' (Yes I said the P word) and most importantly a commitment to develop young talent. I tend to believe that if we had a McBeane (Competent) type regime back in the 2000's.. Maybin could have been a star... Losman could have had a viable NFL career... and Eric Moulds would have been a HOF'r.
  5. Yup.. I'm one of those Canadians.... I was feeling 'good' in January. But at this point, I'm guessing you're going to have many options with us Canadians holding seasons.
  6. Interesting... With the Bucs bringing back all their starters you'd think they would be in top 5 as well... I'm guessing that means they have lost a lot of their depth players.... or these numbers are as valuable as the ESPN QB rating system.......
  7. He's best friends with Trubisky right?
  8. And for the record.. if you google where K-Mac lives... He's in Glencoe, IL.... Let me be the first to say it.... "Grind it up and in the freezer"... Make it happen!
  9. Ditto. Would've been fun to have the 2015-2017 Shady on last year's Bills team.
  10. For one play, I knew how it felt like to be a fan of Tom Brady....
  11. Hate to be this 'guy'.. but it wasn't Montana's last game.. He played one more season, and actually played the Bills one more time.. and again.. we laid the wood to him and the Chiefs.... 44-10.. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199410300buf.htm
  12. Yup and they fell flat. Maybe Coach needs to call up the Emperor and see if he can learn a couple of his tricks https://www.bardown.com/bill-belichick-controlling-the-weather-is-absolutely-our-favourite-twitter-narrative-from-snf-1.1552390
  13. Third last game.... and yes that is a good point.. But not to get 'marred' in the details.. Kelly got hurt early in that game.. so they got a glimpse of the no huddle.. but one Reich came in, from what I remember, the offense was not the same.
  14. I too thought about this scenario.. just because Frank Reich was on the sidelines of that game... and furthermore, the momentum (and hype) these Bills have going into playoffs feels very similar to that 1990 team. With that said, in true Belichikian style, he took away a key piece of our offence which was the Kelly to Reed connection.... and for those who can remember.. the way they did that was 1) Playing nickel / dime most of the game 2) When Reed crossed the middle (his bread and butter) ... take his head out.... which they did successfully. To the point, I believe Reed got the 'dropsies' The reality is that piece could not be duplicated (Thank you Peyton Manning/Tony Dungy/Competition committee) because of the era of football we are in... because the flags will be a flying....
  15. I'm really hoping for not bad news on Beasley and/or Brown... but I can't help but think that McBeane remember last years 'meaningless' last regular season against the Jets where we had key 'backups' go down in the defensive backfield.. the result was Isiah McKenzie playing CB the next week. With the WR's banged up.. this seems like another type of 'process' move where McBeane learn from their past mistakes and take action
  16. Those first two TD's to Diggs.. reminded me so much of Kelly to Reed in the hey day of the K-Gun.. Short Pass, broken tackles, YAC, and TD's. Seriously, I saw that first TD and I swear I was watching 12 to 83. This is glorious.
  17. OK I'll say it.. Can't have too many DB's... I'm still scarred from the playoff game last year when we had Isiah Mckenzie playing DB because of a sudden rash of DB injuries that started the week before in a meaningless game against the Jets.
  18. Let me answer for JA.... I'm not Superstitious, but, I'm a little stitious....
  19. I do appreciate all the commentary around that if we are 'good' team then we should beat the Chargers and there is absolutely a lot of truth to that statement. With that said, but, the NFL is a 'match up' league, and, my thoughts are that for a 3-7 Team like the Chargers, they actually match up well against us as opposed to your 'typical' 3-7 team. (Conversely we matched up well against the Seahawks - ie: their starting RB's were injured, their pass D was historically bad, which plays into our strength) Again, I hope I'm wrong, and without looking at the numbers during the McDermott era, it feels like we typically beat teams we are supposed to beat (inferior records/talent, only the Cleveland game from 2019, and NYJ game from 2017 come to mind.) But I have to say 'scared' is a strong word.. I'd rather say that there is genuine reason to be concerned (semantics I get it) that the Chargers will be a tough win and we shouldn't take it for granted... Come on what does Coach say... 'Humble and Hungry'.....
  20. I agree the idea of Ekeler in the passing game is worrisome. I remember the last time the Chargers came into town... and our old friend Anthony Lynn took advantage of a similar matchup with in Melvin Gordon and a rookie Trumaine Edmonds... I hope I'm absolutely wrong and I am just a victim of deep scars from the drought, but I'm genuinely concerned that this game is going to be very tough one to pull out.
  21. I was really hoping we wouldn't have to deal with him this week and just have to focus on stopping their passing game. Having Ekeler in their line up is another added head-ache for our run challenged D.. This feels like the toughest 3-7 team we have ever had to play (at least in recent memory) https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/chargers-austin-ekeler-will-practice-this-week/
  22. No (Thankfully) surprise here. Hopefully the boys remain responsible over their bye week and this can become a distant memory... Add a Healthy Milano back into the mix and that previous thread about running the table becomes a little (emphasize little) more realistic to me.
