  1. I remember the 'hope' I had when Trent Edwards bulked up using TRX Gawd... I love living on the other side of the QB tracks now Go Bills!
  2. I think this year would take a losing season to consider letting him go. But I do see a Tony Dungy/Bucs like situation, that if the Bills do not get over the proverbial hump by next year, that we could see changes happening. Go Bills!
  3. Efficient. Another reason to love BBB. Go Bills!
  4. It's a great point. I just remember have butterflies before the first MNF game against the Pats last year because of the weather... and then Klein is a last minute scratch because of COVID, and those butterflies changed to a pit in the bottom of my stomach. We really did miss him that game. Go Bills!
  5. What? No Detroit in pre-season? That can't be right? Is the curse of 'Ralph is Cheap' finally dead? Go Bills!
  6. Love this. To think how far we have come in just 5 years, it's just remarkable. Personally, I love this because I maybe able to pull off LA on September 8th.. then go across the country and watch Pearl Jam in NYC at the Garden on 9/11. Go Bills!
  7. This. Dabs had limited to no success other then coaching for the Pats (Brady) and Alabama (33rd NFL Team). Loved Dabs.. but to underestimate what impact JA17 had on Dab's success is like denying Belichik's success because of Tom Brady. Truth of the matter, both make each other greater.. and that JA17 campaigned for Dorsey, and, now it's 'spiced' up with Joe Brady.. who has had exposure to Joe Brr... I tend to believe that this offense is going to a next level of efficiency. Go Bills!
  8. Not directly related but I am still thinking there is a good chance we acquire James Bradberry. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/02/giants-working-through-some-things-on-james-bradberry/ I can see us being part of Schoen's 'contingency plans'.
  9. This... obviously trading up to get him.. Most likely with the Giants.. with some package that also includes us getting Bradbury for a corner. Most likely means we are giving up Poyer and a couple of 1sts in the process. But as usual.. Trust the Process Go Bills
  10. I agree that JA's running style is not sustainable especially if he wants to have a 10+ year career. With that said, the Cam comparison to JA17 ended for me last year. JA's passing game is miles ahead of where Cam was after year 4.. and I would even say JA's passing game is ahead of where Cam was at in his MVP year. (Year 5) The part that gets me giddy (like others) is that a lot of us believe that JA hasn't reached his ceiling. Compare that back to 2018 and we got asked if we would be overjoyed with a 4000 yard passer, 30 TD's per year guy.. we would have all said 'WE GOOD!'... but we are now looking at JA17... and we want more. More importantly JA17 is saying he WANTS MORE! GO BILLS!
  11. BBB said a priority was protecting JA17 this offseason. This one definitely checks the box. JA definitely had a rapport with Bates and without any proof, I wonder if not starting Bates most of the season was more of a Dabs decision vs. McBeane decision.. Just a thoery. Go Bills!
  12. I apologize if this has already been said.. but when you compare Beasley's numbers before joining the Bills and Crowder's numbers before signing with the Bills... it's kinda scary how alike they are.. .To the point, both of their best seasons (yardage wise) before going to the BIlls was 833 yards. Another solid pickup by BBB. The season could not start soon enough for me Go Bills!
  13. No offense.. but should we believe anything BBB says during this time of year. Remember what BBB said after the KC loss... “We’ll still have to make some moves but I wouldn’t see us being like big spenders or anything like that. But we’ll definitely look to fill some spots from the outside as well as retain some of our guys” Go Bills!
  14. It's funny.. I usually do not have the testicular fortitude to watch Bills games after they lose. It usually takes weeks if not months... (I watched the low lights from the Jags game for the first time last week) But with the KC Game I actually re-watched highlights 24 hours after that game.. and re-watched the game on NFL network when the re-aired it either on the Wednesday or Thursday evening after. Maybe after the drought my ambitions were set a little lower.. but I think I had the stomach to re-watch this game because of two reasons 1) I had watched too many playoff games during the drought where I saw Manning vs. Brady, Brady vs Roethlisberger, Rogers vs. Romo, etc... where they put on 'shows' in the playoffs, and I was reminded really how far those Bills teams were being relevant, let alone a contender. To see the (my) Bills be in one of those games, and be a 'cutting edge' offense, with a real superhero (not only franchise) at QB, reminded me that truly that the best things are still to come for this team. 2) Josh Allen is the real deal... Not only is he ready for the spotlight... He is the spotlight. And not just in Buffalo.. but in the NFL.... I felt that way right after the game.. and then all the stuff that has subtly or not so subtly happen after the game. From the National outrage about the OT rules, to that little piece in the NFL awards, to hammerheads, like Bill Simmons saying the Bills were the best team in 2021, it just reminds me how this (Crappy, horrible ending of a) game, will be a stepping stone to multiple great playoff games, to multiple advertised 'games of the century' and god willing, multiple championships. .. And that's first and foremost because JA17 is our QB1 Go Bills!
  15. I think somebody already mentioned it.. but I feel like Darnold is destined to be a Bill in 2022.
  16. Amazing article that I believe a lot of us long time Bills fans can relate too... I particularly relate to being vanquished to the basement to watch 'My Bills' as my wife isn't huge fan as well (Flame away!).. the need for therapy (most likely.. but not just yet..), and the 2 minute refresh in the unusually warm spring of 2012 when the Bills were wooing Mario Williams... (Can't believe it will be a decade when the phrase 'Ground up in the freezer' became a regular go to phrase on this message board) Not to get too hokey but it's amazing articles like yours that remind me why "I believe"... Well Done Sir Go Bills!
  17. Well you maybe onto something .. As some of you may remember... JA17 already took a bit of a shot at Joe Brr.... (Wait till the end)
  18. Love this 'get' for various reasons... Maybe this has mentioned... but Joe Brrr looking like another obstacle we will need to jump, Joe Brady's experience in LSU will be able to provide us some insider information on his game Go Bills!
  19. I would like to be more specific and say that not only this applies to the players (where there was commentary from other teams that the Bills weren't playing 'inspired' enough) but it extends to the coaches and game planning. I felt like there were games where we lost (especially the Jags game) that we were 'holding back' some of our play calling because we didn't want to show much on film. It feels like our Offense really wasn't allowed to really open things up until that second half of the Bucs game... when at that point.. they really didn't have much of a choice. Unsure if this was a Daboll thing.. or all the way too McBeane.... but I think the playcalling on both sides of the field needs to be more aggressive regardless of opponent.. regardless of what it may show on film.
  20. Dorsey would be first pick... Second pick would be Rob Boras. OC experience with the Rams and have to believe he has a hand in development of Knox..
  21. I love the idea... but you do realize every time Fitzmagic has come into a backup position.. more often then not, the starter gets injured. I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious. So I'd prefer bringing back Matt Barkley. Go Bills!
  22. Great write up as usual. And if it means anything, over the last 3 games, I had similar thoughts about how this Bills team reminds me of the 2006/2007 Colts team that won not necessarily on Manning's arm (Ok maybe the AFC championship game again the Pats).. but did it with a Solid D, Addai and Dominic Rhodes rushing attack. It's kinda funny (and maybe not a coincidence) because the National media was talking about how the Bills weakness was their overdependence on JA17. Anyhow... Love that comparison to the 2006 Colts. & As usual.. Love the Pearl Jam. Go Bills!
  23. I believe somebody posted this back before the week 16 game. Clearly the Bills team was fired up for that week 16 game and came out right away showing their physical dominance from that 1st series where Ed Oliver beat his man and got a sack.. and then Motor carrying Hightower on his back for a first down. With that said, it's clear that the Pats like being the Hunter vs. the Hunted. And I'm sure there is a lot for them to be fired up to play the Bills.. From Diggs STFU.. To JA17's 'Who did they think I was comment' after that game.. I'm sure the Pats will be very fired up. If the Bills are truly who we think they are.. they will put out that fire very quickly. Of all the match ups.. this is the match up I wanted because I do not believe Mac Jones is that good... but with that said, this is the one opponent that maybe able to make up for their physical shortcomings with emotion and motivation. Go Bills
