  1. I have to say the Tampa game... During the drought that was a typical game that we would lose. We were up most of the game at home .. and then in the 4th Quarter, the Bucs grabbed the momentum and took the lead late in the game... (This is when I said to my 18 month old son at the time.. get used to this happens all the time) but for the first time (at least it felt like) during the drought.... we respond and score a TD to tie the game.. and then force a turnover (Thank You Tre!) and we win the game on a field goal It was truly then that I said the McBeane was changing the culture The best has yet to come
  2. I remember after watching Superbowl XV.. there were so many plays that if the Bills had did their 'job'.. we would have won that game (not including the obvious missed FG).. 1) Way too many drops by Andre Reed over the middle.. which up until that point.. I could not remember Andre ever dropping a pass let alone over the middle (where he lived) 2) The missed tackles on Mark Ingram on a third and long play 3) The clock management on the last drive 4) In the first quarter, James Lofton caught a tipped long bomb that got us inside the 10.. but If he had caught the ball a little cleaner.. he would have ended up in the end zone. (We settled on a field goal) and lastly my favorite one 5) On Bruce Smith's safety.. he went for the fumble by grabbing Hostetler's hand.. but some way ... some how. Hostetler kept on to the ball..... Argghhh... 28 years later.. I still get sick to my stomach thinking how close we were too winning a Superbowl. I guess it will just make it sweeter when we are hoisting our first of many Superbowls starting in 2020.....
  3. The 1990 Superbowl XV team was the best team in Football.. especially in the second half of the year when they started to run the K-Gun offense. 27 years later, it still blows me away we lost Super Bowl XV.. we should have rolled the Giants. However, hand it to the Giants for executing on a perfect game plan the Bill & Bill put together.
  4. I wonder if Richie was motivated to free up money to bring Pouncey here.. Long shot.. but you never know eh!
  5. Would be interesting pickup.. considering our OC’s connection to Alabama. As short as his tenure was, I’m wondering if Coach Saban impressed Brian Dabol with McCarron’s potential to be a great QB. Take a look at the article.. looks like AJ fits the ‘process’ profile https://articles.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2017/04/aj_mccarron_absolutely_a_start.amp
  6. Best defensive play was Tre White’s forced fumble of Humphries late in the 4th quarter against Tampa Bay... that was a game that the ‘drought’ Bills would always lose. When that fumble happened... I knew this was a New Era for the Bills In McBeane we trust
  7. We can also garner a little hope from this victory, that our coach has strong connections to Coach Reid.. dare I say it... trust the process 🤔
  8. No injuries.. hopefully the game gets cancelled like it did a few years back in Philly when the field was in horrible condition.... Let's just face it.. we really do not get much from the Pre-season.. I'll never forget the 2014 pre-season.. where our quarterback play, specifically EJ looked incompetent.... to the point we signed Matt Leinhart & Jordan Palmer for the last pre-season game. Then in week 1... We go and beat the Bears in Soldier Field... I know, I know, EJ would end up being benched by week 5.. but I think you get my point....
  9. Looks like he spent first half of his career in Carolina as part of their scouting team. Stating the obvious - but this hire is consistent with everything that has been happening the last couple of months at 1BD..
  10. Seattle did this back in 2012.. when they benched for some rookie they drafted in the 3rd round after signing FA Matt Flynn for something like 26 million
  11. I agree it seems like a stretch.. you'd think he'd want to go more premier destinations... but I for one would love to bring in somebody like O'Brien.. compared to the situation he walked into at Penn State.. the current mess at 1BD would be a day in the park for him.
  12. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/09/king-obrien-would-be-strong-candidate-for-two-vacancies/ Any chance that the Bills may be one of the two teams??? The recent talk / rumors about the new Bills Head Coach being granted additional powers + the Pegula's connection to Penn State... Hmmmm ???
