  1. I don't like over-confidence and neither do the football gods. The Dolphins, a division rival with nothing to lose, still have a roster of NFL players and the Bills, at times, play down to their competition. I believe the Bills will win. But I will not get cocky about this game.
  2. Agree. I don't like how the defense matches up against the Bengals, chiefs, or dolphins. These teams have fast playmakers. We just don't have the speed. The defense relies on scheme discipline. On the other hand, I know they don't like how their defenses match up against Allen/Diggs. But outside of these two, we don't have much consistency on O.
  3. Maybe we'd get one of their compensatory picks for the 2025 draft...
  4. Not going to lie. I hate that they've lost 4 in a row, but are still in the playoffs as of now.
  5. Cook has nice fresh legs for the playoffs. No worry of him hitting the rookie wall. And damn his running style is smoove...
  6. It seems like Frazier likes to play vanilla at the beginning to see what the offense's gameplan is. Then clamps down. If the defense tackles consistently, we have a top defense.
  7. Exactly! He was so mad about not getting the ball on the game winning drive, that he was the first one to side into Bass after he nailed the winning FG.
  8. You have a point there. And i hope you're right. We need guys to step up from here on out. I also think there is something to the hypothesis of Allen suffering a concussion in the packers game. Against the fish, he looked more like early season Josh. Using his other guys more like the game had slowed down again.
  9. We need some playmakers on rookie contracts from the next couple of drafts. Outside of Allen and Diggs we don't have much. At least not consistently.
  10. The Bills hired one of the best o-line coaches in the league last off season. I think they were hoping for a jump from Brown and Doyle, who are both athletic freaks for their size.
  11. I won't pretend to know what's going on in his head. But seems to me he gets fired up when the offense is stagnating. Because he believes he can pull them out. So far this year, it's Diggs and Allen as the only consistent playmakers. I don't see him getting pissed about touches when the offense is humming along. I didn't see him upset when they were up 21 - 13 with TDs going to tight ends and RBs. He was the first one sliding into Bass after the game winner. He's very much a team guy by all accounts. That's such a good point.
  12. I think it's clear that Diggs just wants to win. He's not mad about touches or stats. I love his fight.
  13. Then you're going to love sucktification. As in: The sucktification of the o-line was exacerbated by the addition of Cody Ford.
  14. Sounds like Philips may be out for a few weeks. I'd love for him to rest up and be healthy for the playoffs.
  15. It's a good point you make. I'm not placing all of the offense's woes on Dorsey. Allen missed on some throws as well. But I do see some playcalls that I consider questionable (admittedly I'm not an NFL offensive coordinator).
  16. Dorsey seems to be on tilt. The offense is struggling to find a rhythm, and instead of taking the easy first downs, he calls a 5 step drop on 3rd and 2 yesterday. 7 step drops on 3rd and 9. Let's get into a rhythm first before taking those shots. Earlier in the season, Dorsey seemed to have a better feel for the game and how to set up plays. These last few weeks he seems like he's pulling plays out of a hat.
  17. I'll admit, I was very iffy on the pick. Clearly he was a physical freak, and his one year at DE looked impressive. But there were so many unknowns for a first round pick.
  18. Agreed. I'm happy with a win, no matter how it comes. But sloppy play won't get it done in the playoffs. Winning this way doesn't seem a sustainable formula. The offense is leaving too many points on the field.
  19. I can't validate any of these, but I don't understand why people are making jokes. NFL teams have talked about looking for tells for decades. I remember a story about Dan Fouts standing with his right heel up before hiking on passing downs. There have been times during the season when I feel like the opponents know what's coming. I think this is a fascinating topic. Thank you.
  20. The Jets have a good CB2 and slot guy as well. This defense is pretty stacked.
  21. And he's doing a great job. He has potential, and a good work ethic. But he was a 5th rounder for a reason. It's up to him to polish his game and become the gem that many people in the league see in him.
  22. I don't believe in karma, but this has to be looked upon favorably by the football gods, no?
  23. I tend to agree with this. I don't like his 3rd and long calls at times, but otherwise, it's not him out there missing tackles.
  24. I've been a little critical of the coaching staff during this mid-season slump. But I consider it constructive and I'm glad we have this staff. McDermott clearly self-evaluates and keeps the team evolving during and between seasons. This is the best Bills team in 30 years, and currently one of the best 3 or 4 teams in the league.
  25. I always thought an insurance company could play with Allen's arm strength. Like he lightly, underhand tosses keys to someone and the keys fly across the room through the wall. Nationwide used to do some funny stuff with Manning.
