  1. I agree. I wasn't absolving Josh's mistakes. He makes plenty. But no amount of coaching can make a person good enough to make this play. Burrow couldn't make that throw. But Burrow would've hit Cook for the first down. Like you said, that's what you get with Josh.
  2. To the people who don't think Josh is elite... this throw is ridiculous.
  3. Fitz went to Harvard?!
  4. Quality of the starting QB has a big impact. Say what you want about Josh (I still love the guy), but I think we can agree that he's a big upgrade over Bridgewater, Darnold, and late career Newton.
  5. Asking for your friend, Dean McSermott?
  6. How dare you? If Uncle Rico had been put in 4th quarter, he would've won state. Learn some football before making asinine comments like that.
  7. Well, you've convinced me...to smoke exactly what you're smoking.
  8. The one who is brainwashed is you, apparently. You're on some strange crusade to prove that Belichick isn't a good coach. Any objective person who knows football, knows that Belichick is a damn good coach. By your simplistic measure, Brian Billick was an excellent coach because he won a superbowl with Trent Dilfer. And you fail to address how Tom Brady wins the superbowls, I mentioned previously, without Belichick's excellent coaching.
  9. Brady is one of the greatest to play the game. I hate to say it because I can't stand the guy. But also, he doesn't win all of those rings without Belichick's defensive mind. Brady didn't limit the "greatest show on turf" to 17 points, or the McVay Rams offense to 3 points. Brady didn't stop the Falcons from scoring in the second half, nor did he get a goalline stop when the ball should've been given to Beast Mode. He hand picked the bucs for a reason. It gave an aging Brady a team loaded with playmakers and a good coach. Brady was great. But QBs don't win games by themselves. It's not a question of Brady OR Belichick... it was Brady AND Belichick. Greatest coach QB combo of all time. I'm going to melt my keyboard now, for allowing me to type that.
  10. While covering a deep zone, I assume they'd line him up wide, right?
  11. The Madden curse...you forgot the Madden curse.
  12. I agree with this. Of course, we are all speculating because no one from TSW is in One Bills Drive every day, but McD seems frustrated by the offense as well. He's getting production out of a patchwork defense, meanwhile the healthy offense (with generational talent at QB) is sputtering along. McD isn't going to publicly throw Dorsey under the bus, but before the Bucs game, McD said at this point, the offense should have an identity and you should know what your guys are good at. Then they came out up-tempo, throwing it to different guys and finally getting Kincaid his first TD. It makes no sense that McD would purposely sandbag the offense. None. No coach ever said, "This offense is just too good, slow it down." I get it, we're all pissed off about this teams performance. And ultimately, it's on McD to get this turned around. But to assign him blame for the offenses current stuggles is just misguided. But I understand the anger behind the blaming. I'm pissed off as well.
  13. Yeah, this is kind of an odd thread. "Our 3rd string CB, who is only playing because of injuries, isn't good enough and should be benched." Meanwhile he just played pretty well on a deleted defense that forced 4 punts, a turnover on downs, and kept the "hottest team in the NFL" to 3 points in the second half. Pretty far down the list of reasons the Bills lost this game is Dane Jackson.
  14. Finally. Someone had to say it.
  15. Is my aunt my uncle if she has a penis? Sure. But until that happens, this question doesn't matter. The Bills have 4 quarters to win the game. Just like every other team.
  16. Also, it's possible to be a good QB coach, but bad OC. Just like one can be a good coordinator but bad HC.
  17. Josh certainly has made some mistakes, but he didn't coincidently forget how to play football when Dorsey became OC. Something is going on here, and we've heard guys say that the playbook needs to be simplified. This staff couldn't get Hines up to speed last year. Slow to get Kincaid involved. Isn't using Harty. Rarely gets Cook involved in the passing game even though that was his strength. All of this says something about Dorsey and the coaching.
  18. It's okay, guys. I read here that the offense was fixed after a good first half last week.
  19. Slim pickings. Lots of bandwagon Chargers fans, though they seemed to have disappeared lately. Raiders fans who seem to just love the merch without knowing anything about football. And of course the obligatory, insufferable Cowboys fans. So yeah, some of the worst NFL fans.
  20. Born and raised in Southern California. I've never been to Buffalo. I can't just go down to a local bar and chat it up with Bills fans. There are none in my neck of the desert. TSW is the only place I can go to talk about this team that I inexplicably became a fan of in early 1989 (ironically the day they lost the AFCCC against the Bengals). So here I am Bills brothers and sisters.
  21. Mmm... with crushed up rolaids on top. Just like mom used to make.
  22. I don't consider the Bengals to be some unbeatable juggernaut. But they are a good team, and I don't like how the Bills' zone defense matches up with their quick-pass offense. I think the game will come down to getting stops in the red zone (FGs vs TDs) where the field of play is compressed. But what the hell do I know, I just watch football from my couch on Sundays (not sarcasm).
  23. Agreed. No GM is perfect, but I'm glad we have him.
  24. Agreed. That line was stacked. He hasn't lived up to his draft position apart from a few moments of good play.
  25. I wasn't advocating for the guy (though I don't hate the trade). Just surprised so many have "never heard of him." I'm hoping he turns out a good as the last DB we took from Green Bay.
