  1. Punter is the only correct answer here. Whether one thinks it's an important position or not, punter is the weakest rostered position. Let's hope our new star ST coach can get production out of this group. A bad punter can lose you games.
  2. Post June 1st cuts may provide some options at RB and WR. There are plenty of signings to go before camp starts.
  3. Do you know the contract differences between a 2nd round pick and a 5th round pick? Imagine getting a believable prank call that you won a few million dollars. I think that adds to the perspective, no?
  4. Helen Keller: "Yeah, what this guy said."
  5. I would've hated this in the 1st or 2nd. I'm okay with a 3rd for Landon Jackson.
  6. After the superbowl, everyone wanted a d-line that gets to the quarterback. This guy penetrates and gets in the backfield quick.
  7. Love this pick! He was my draft crush. He's not just a track speed guy. His 4.2 speed shows up on the field. The dude just plays at a different speed from everyone else on the field.
  8. A lot of those WRs are day 3 type guys. There's certainly a pretty good chance you're right. I'd expect more CB, DT, and DE. But ultimately, I'm sure it depends on which prospects are there when they pick.
  9. This is like Hyde being on the roster last season. I love Tre. I didn't like seeing him in another jersey. But I don't see him doing anything on the field this season.
  10. This is almost, word-for-word, the first thought that went through my mind.
  11. Agree. Mike Green has 2 of these accusations against him as well.
  12. Ko Simpson was worth millions. He at least deserves a mention.
  13. Let me guess... he wants to play for a winner.
  14. He took the arrows for Ralph's cheapness. Guy was just doing what was asked of him.
  15. I mentioned this in another thread. Benford reminds me of the Bill's Kyle Williams situation. Buffalo fans can see how great of a player he is, but he flies under the radar for the rest of the NFL. As a result, we sign him to a bargain contract. The numbers show Benford is a top 10 CB. Also, Beane is terrific at signing our own to team friendly deals.
  16. The Bills just have to do a better job of evaluating with their to picks. Ed Oliver is a good player. But if you just look at DTs, Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence, and Jeffery Simmons were all picked after Oliver in the first round. Beane has been in position to pick some blue chippers. Overall, his drafting has been good. But we are missing more star power.
  17. Dorian made a big jump in the mental part of the game this past season. He was playing smarter. His rookie season he looked like an unguided missile, flying around, but often out of position. I was impressed with his improvement, and hope to see him build off of that to get even better.
  18. Outside of the top two guys, I really like Norman-Lott out of Tennessee.
  19. Beane likes stocking up on OL and trading them for draft picks later.
  20. Run game was better with him on the field.
  21. That's a good point. I was starting to worry about Taron's health last season. He does a lot for the D (including being a small LBer at times) and was rarely coming off the field.
  22. Are we sure? Washington might swoop in to re-sign him before it's official.
  23. We checked, sir. They have no peepees.
  24. The Steelers had a long history of excellent drafting with Kevin Colbert. This combined with a HOF quarterback kept the team in the thick of the hunt for a Lombardi. They no longer have Big Ben, or Colbert. Their past team building strategies are gone. Looks like they're trying to find a new path.
