  1. This is the least interested I've ever been in the superbowl. I'm not saying that hyperbolically. I'm just going for the food and my brothers' company.
  2. You're right. But it was the Rams team of yesteryear that did win a superbowl. I was only half serious. I want to build through the draft. I was just pointing out that Beane hasn't done well in the first 2 rounds. That's where you're supposed to be getting your probowl level players.
  3. If the Bills are taking pages out of someone from the NFC west, I'd do a bit of the Rams approach. Trading picks for proven commodities. Beane isn't getting much from rounds 1 & 2 in the draft anyway.
  4. I didn't realize Holland was that young. He'd be a great addition. Also, I really liked Stokes coming out of Georgia. I don't know if he'll make it, but you may be right about him being a cheap option with some upside.
  5. I like Beane, but he has been pretty lousy with his drafting in rounds 1 and 2. At this point, I'm wondering if he goes the Rams route and trades these picks for proven veterans. The Bills just aren't getting value out of rounds 1 and 2. That's inexcusable, and no way to win a Lombardi. No team drafts perfectly, but the top teams consistently get "pro-bowl" caliber production out of the top 2 rounds. The Bills don't.
  6. Bills announce that Beane will be locked in the bathroom for the first 2 rounds of the Draft. He'll run the rest of the offseason for the Bills.
  7. On the flip side, I'm absolutely certain that Andy Reid would've schemed Coleman open if they had him. I like Brady, but he was taken to school on Sunday. He's young, and has a lot to learn. He was starting to emerge before that wrist injury. He wasn't quite the same after he came back. We'll see what steps he takes next year and I certainly hope you are correct.
  8. Bills once again got outcoached. Mahomes was running an offense that's designed to provide easy throws. Guys are schemed open consistently. Everything the Bills did just on offense just looked harder. Cook was under-utilized, certainly. Also, KC was the worst in the league at defending TEs. We did just about nothing with Knox and Kincaid. Too many times this season, the defense's game plan was horrible to start the game. Sure they adjust and tighten up in the second half, but they're giving up too much in the first 2 quarters. Giving up 21 to the Chiefs in the first half was terrible. They were getting almost 10 yards a play.
  9. Looks like it's official. Blakeman it is.
  10. The stadium isn't completed yet. Maybe we can start a petition to slap a roof on the sucker.
  11. With Milano's return, the staff seems to be tinkering with 3 lb sets. Sometimes base defense, sometimes with 3 down linemen. I think the coaches will be trying something different against this Ravens offense. Not saying it's going to work. But it will be a bit different. Plus, the Bills have all their horses on D this time.
  12. All-Pro!? More like All-... no... Am I right?
  13. I think we'll also see a bit of 3-3-5. 3 DL, 3 LB, and 5 in the secondary. With Dorian or Milano spying Lamar.
  14. Starting the second half of last season,Ty has become one of my favorite Bills. He plays hard, and comes up big.
  15. The Bills were also still figuring things out on offense early in the season. The Ravens are a really good team, and it will be a challenge if the Bills see them next week. But this is a different Bills team.
  16. Me: Belichick would never take a HC job then leave for another opportunity before even letting the ink dry on his contract. NJ Jets: ... um...
  17. Bring back Doug Whaley.
  18. If I'm mid-paragraph of my innocuous post on page 53 of a discussion...I'm still going pause to look up the proper spelling of Edefuan Ulofoshio before clicking, "Submit Reply." In a way, I envy the level of IDGAF needed to open a new discussion with the misspelling of a well-known former Bill's name in the title.
  19. Even if the Pats believe that they have their QB of the future, they missed out on the opportunity to gain a boatload of picks to move down for another team to draft "their" QB of the future.
  20. I understand that writers, and newspapers have to eat. Without compensation, they cease to exist. But I also understand that people don't want to subscribe to read an occasional article. I wonder if it would make sense to charge a small one time fee per article rather than asking for a full subscription. I don't want to subscribe either, but I'd pay a dollar to read an interesting article.
  21. The entire team was playing to avoid injuries yesterday. I don't want Keon fighting like hell for a meaningless catch. Actually, I think the team has treated the last 3 weeks like preseason. Looks like they've been holding back. I'm not worried about Keon.
  22. What's Da'Rick Rogers up to these days?
  23. Looks like the Rams figured something out about this defense. Add to that the injuries in the secondary of this safety-centric defense and you have this poor showing.
