  1. Yep, certainly possible - And throw in a little cabin fever, rowdy Bills fans at Ford Field, and this team could explode tomorrow!!
  2. They should seriously consider helicopters tomorrow when the storm ends (hopefully) . . . : )
  3. 54 inches in OP as of 4 pm!!
  4. 36 inches so far in Orchard Park (highest total of anywhere, per NWS). ...Erie County... 5. Schools closed tomorrow (e.g., Nichols) already - I think we'll hear about a change of venue by COB today. JMHO
  6. A drawback to a later start on Sunday is that it gives us even less time between Browns and Lions game . . .
  7. Rumblings that it could be at Skydome too. That would surprise me but isn't crazy either
  8. I think it'll either be moved to Detroit (announced today, tickets free or very cheap, full refund for all Highmark tix) OR in Orchard Park but offer full refunds so nobody has to go in person (and hopefully don't need to divert tons of resources to clearing the snow from seats, etc., etc.).
  9. We live in Wyoming (Cincinnati area) - My son has never been to Buffalo and gets excited here even with a couple inches of snow in the forecast (which usually seems to end up being a dusting). I still remember crazy times there in the winter, like when my buddy and I had a mattress on the roof of our car in a snowstorm and we had our hands out the window holding it place while swerving all over the road - Or doing a 360 at UB-Amherst and living to tell about it - Or losing a boot in Blizzard of 77 and my dad having to try (unsuccessfully) to dig it out - Or kicking my snow boot off in the house and knocking over a bunch of porcelain spice jars - Or freezing my @ss off waiting for the bus. But also the pure JOY of praying for a snow day, looking out the window at the horizontally moving snow which doesn't seem like it would ever land, and hearing my school called in the alphabetical list of school closings.
  10. I'd consider going too - About a 4 hr drive from SW OH for me.
  11. Moving to Detroit seems like the most probable move if there is one at all. Fairly neutral location (we don't get the benefit of a home game but arguably could benefit from not having a bad weather/ground&pound/fluky sort of a game in the elements).
  12. But also did we lose coins flips in all three of the ones zow2 mentioned, or just 2 of the 3?! That matters too.
  13. I'd seriously consider going to the game if it were to move to Detroit (saw Bills/Jets there) - Is this a real possibility?!
  14. That's a great point that will go largely unnoticed given all the eye-popping crap that happened yesterday. On multiple occasions in the first half, I thought to myself, wow, these receivers are making amazing catches! They were making Josh look better than he was - But, throughout the first half, I was generally thinking the Bills are back to their usual good form on offense.
  15. More runs than usual and more short passes to pass-catching RBs. But there will be some longer passes for balance and the element of surprise!
  16. This is getting ridiculous - We appear to have a super conservative team when it comes to the handling of injuries - If Josh plays, he's viewed as essentially 100% with no risk of injury or "injury" getting worse. NONE of us are privy to the actual results of MRIs, etc. and NONE of us have spoken with the actual team physician(s), and even if someone has, HIPPA likely prevents any discussion of what the physicians know about his health status. There has been speculation all week and we as Bills fans had every reason to be SUPER worried, but the actual data points are what they are and if we see no activation of Barkley, and Josh starting, that fills in all of the blanks for us, by and large.
  17. First offensive play tomorrow: Play-action bomb to Diggs or Davis?! Maybe not though . . .
  18. And that 70-yard pass was apparently the longest over the past 6 seasons!!
  19. I think it's much more likely that Josh starts with Case ready just in case vs. the other way around.
  20. Looks like 538 immediately bumped up the spread and modestly increased the Bills SB chances on this news!!
  21. Totally agree - And on D, figure it's got to be Miller and/or Milano. Just in Case we need help on D, I'm going with M&Ms . . .
  22. Agree to an extent. If it's truly random, having a lot of injuries in one year has no impact on injuries in the next year. It's only when you look at 5 or 10 years will you see evidence potentially of a random pattern. Keep in mind the "gambler's fallacy" - Just because the roulette wheel hit black three times in a row doesn't mean red is more likely on the next spin . . . Sorry, the economist in me is coming out a bit here!! All that said, I hope we are nearing the end of this brutal injury bug!! WTF!!
  23. The two I mentioned are the primary ones, but I do wonder whether there's any truth to the mild concussion rumors from hits he took in both of those games.
  24. It's some of what you wrote above for sure, but the recent head scratchers are probably also due to better pass defenses, miscommunication, and other factors beyond simply being aggressive. But you make some interesting, valid points . . .
  25. Bills 31 Jets 13
