  1. On the TD, he makes a subtle move, slowing himself down, so the ball lands perfectly in his "bread basket." He is so good at getting, and adjusting, to the ball. Is there anyone better? https://www.buffalobills.com/video/josh-allen-drops-35-yard-touchdown-pass-in-the-bucket-to-stefon-diggs-bills-vs-c
  2. Sounds like a Tasker comment...
  3. I prefer Williams as he is the pounder they need in place of Moss, but I think they go with experience and Yeldon.
  4. Yes, there is a reason his teammates were pushing for him to be hired (when Rex got the job instead), he's a damn good coach. As the announcers stated, Indy is top 10 in all 3 phases of the game. The Bills got lucky today, and you need that sometimes. The missed short FG and the Pittman pass just off his finger tips. Whew!
  5. Yeah, my pick too. He was a monster in last year's playoff game.
  6. Ha! How about we pay some youngster to make the run? Yeah, probably 20 years--the Flutie-Johnson game in San Diego? Time flies... It's Buffalo's time brother!
  7. Sorry, I meant Epenesa looks to be a good successor to Jerry when he's ready to hang it up after he gets his second Super Bowl ring....
  8. As I mentioned in my post on Epenesa, I think the rest of the AFCE teams start drafting players to stop Allen and the Bills, though I don't know how they do it... Nice to see you back here old timer.
  9. What made me want to focus on him was that play in the Pats' game where he was penalized, wrongly in my opinion. He looked really quick on that play, so I've been wanting to key on him, but it's too hard to do (for me at least) during the live telecast.
  10. Fortunately, I came across the re-play just as the second quarter was starting. On all but one play I focused on, Epenesa got pressure, and he was usually there pretty quick. I have to say, I think he is more than capable of taking over for Jerry. D. Johnson also looked good and was quick to get pressure. I think these two will play big roles next year. A few other comments: - There is no way A. Williams does not make the 53 next year. Not only did he run with power and speed, but he caught the ball well and did a good job picking up a blitzer on the first Davis catch from Barkley. - Josh made a handful of "Holy $h_t" throws in that game. Dam, he is going to be so much fun to watch for the next 10+ years! - I really enjoyed watching the demoralized faces of the Dolphins player. Which made me think the following: I think the Fins, Pats, and Jets will start drafting players to stop the Josh Allen Bills much like everyone did for Brady's Pats, though I don't know if anyone knows how to stop him yet.... Go Bills!
  11. As I posted in the prediction thread, I think Reich pulls a Parcells-Belichick from the Bills first Super Bowl. Ball control to keep Bills O off the field. INdy has the run game to do that. The Bills O needs to start hot and score early to force them out of it.
  12. Frank Reich takes a page out of the history books, one he was part of, and plays ball control to burn the clock and keep Allen and the Bills O off the field as much as possible. This time, Bass makes the FG for the win: Bills 22 - 20. These aren't your same old Bills....
  13. You could tell he was really nervous last year, but about half-way through the season, he and STs started turning it around.
  14. Good piece in The Athletic by Graham on Farwell.
  15. True. I've read somewhere that Milano wants to be here for his career, so I think they could keep him for < $10m. As I mentioned, I think Feliciano is a priority given that he is a poster boy for "the process," and he can play all three interior positions well. Signing Milano and Feliciano would leave Williams out of the mix, unless they made some other surprising move? I think OL is where the most difficult decisions will be. I think Boettger has solidified the LG spot. Ethan-iP suggested Morse as a possible casualty, especially given his concussion history. Would they let Morse go and put Feliciano at C? Do they think Ford can play RT? Two possible combos: 1) Dawkins, Boettger, Morse, Feliciano, Ford; or 2) Dawkins, Boettger, Feliciano, Ford, Williams.....? These questions will have to be addressed after they win the Super Bowl...
  16. Beane has it set up nicely, as a ton of $ is coming off the books in 2022. They shouldn't have any problems signing Allen and Edmunds to long-term contracts.
  17. Star's cap hit in 2021 is $7.6 mil, with almost $12 mil in dead cap if he's cut--cutting him puts them in a worse cap situation. Maybe they can get him to retire...Beane is going to earn his contract this year. Btw, I think the first person the Bills re-sign is Feliciano, as the Bills put a high premium on process guys.
  18. Yeah, they really won't have the cap room to make any serious external signings. OF their UFAs, I think they re-sign Feliciano, Milano, McKenzie, and Marlowe. On the margin are Roberts, Barkley, and Taiwan Jones. While I'd like to have Williams back, I don't think they can afford him...
  19. I'm sure he's been on the hot seat ever since their beat down by Allen and the Bills, "You picked Chubb over Allen!!!?"
  20. Bring on the Colts baby!
  21. Bills have a chance to lead the league in points at 501. The Pack needs > 27 to take #1.
  22. For what it's worth, that score gives Bills an overall scoring average of 30 ppg....
  23. I expected it to be a video of the moment the Bills broke the 17-year playoff drought, but this will do just fine.... Happy New Year! Go Bills!
  24. I think the optimal scenario is a Bills win no matter what. I wouldn't trust the Browns to win this week, especially with their Covid issues now. A Bills win guarantees they face either the Colts if the Browns win or the Fins again if Pitt wins. A Bills win also means Ravens and Titans face off, which I"d like to see as well. Of course, this assumes Colts, Ravens, and Titans all win, which I think is a very, very high probability...
