I think Dabol has used the tackle eligible too much. I called it out when they lined up. If I knew it, the 49ers darn sure knew it. I also think he's trying to stay away from designed runs by Josh because of his injuries. Minor quibbles ...

Bills sign Brandon Beane to contract extension!!!
TPS replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Congratulations to Mr Beane! What I appreciate about him and McDermott is how they have embraced the WNY community. I'm thinking they erase the memory of four straight Super Bowl losses with four stratight wins... -
Ex Bills TE Logan Thomas Quietly Having a Great Season

Baldy devotes a segment to his very good game helping Wash defeat Pitt -
Was just scanning through to see if anyone already mentioned, yes the RJ analogy is better than comparing him to any QB I can think of.

The Athletic has a good piece on Matakevich: https://theathletic.com/2250861/2020/12/10/tyler-matakevich-bills-special-teams/ Say's he's had the Pitt game circled since signing with the Bills....

Bailouts, QE, near-zero interest rates--whatever you want to call it. The financial system is backstopped by the FED and they know it. If Wall Street disappeared, the US economy would probably be better off...

We haven't had free markets in a long time. With each crisis, the FED intervenes in more and more markets creating the expectation they will always bail out Wall Street...because they do bail out Wall Street. It's difficult to put the genie back in the bottle. Wall Street likes socialism when they benefit...

Bills adjustment to 49ers run game
TPS replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. Probably because It's hard to notice someone who gets double-teamed a lot (though that's his job too!). I certainly didn't notice this play during the game. That's why it's great to follow Baldy, he shows you those things that are hard to notice on TV. My last gripe: Too many casual fans only look at the stat sheet, and if you don't see Oliver with many tackles or sacks, or he didn't make a flashy play on TV, then he must not be playing well..... -

This one on Oliver is great too. -
A good time to be a Bills fan
TPS replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a good time to be a fan, and there seem to be a few more now, which is good. In fact, it's my understanding that there are 9 million fans who never left the stadium for the great Houston comeback game....😎 -
What you say, the debt doesn't matter....?

Josh is creating a lot of Bills' fans. As I mentioned in some thread a week or so ago, maybe when the NFL realizes this team is a good draw, the Bills will start getting a little more luck on the field. Case in point, just saw Ravens WR Brown spin the ball in front of the DB without penalty. Why'd Josh get one for that?

Ice water in his veins...

Another thing about this game was his start. There have been times when he is visibly nervous at the start of big games and it shows in his throws. He came out confident and shmokin!

A Few Thoughts about the 49ers Game, in no particular order
TPS replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You need to edit your segment on Diggs and include a statement about his block on Knox's TD. Absolute best play of the game and a big F-U to his haters. That man wants to win!- 50 replies

This is my play of the game, heck maybe the season! That guy just wants to win and will do whatever it takes. Respect. Someone should post that video on a Vikings' board.

Ex Bills TE Logan Thomas Quietly Having a Great Season
TPS replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's having a great game. Hope they win. -
If he can't understand that it's one of several strategies that work in combination, that it's not the solution by itself, then he's being purposely obtuse. Other areas have stopped it cold by doing some combination of things. https://www.vox.com/2020/12/4/22151242/melbourne-victoria-australia-covid-19-cases-lockdown

I thought he was noticeably more aggressive in the game, so it obviously worked.

One of these days the nfl is going to recognize their growing popularity, which of course translates into high tv ratings, and maybe, just maybe, the Bills will start to see their “luck” during games, wrt officiating, change for the better...

He's the new Duke Williams, we just never got an opportunity to see him in a preseason game... Seriously, he does have a chance to become a productive NFL player. Last year he started 4 games for the Pack and averaged 18.3 ypc on 12 catches. I'd really like to see him get a chance and see what he can do.

Ex Bills TE Logan Thomas Quietly Having a Great Season
TPS replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmmm...interesting theory... First 4 games with Haskins: 13, 102, 1 2 games with K. Allen: 7, 102, 2 Last 4 games with Smith: 13, 120, 1 Logan Thomas is having his best season. It's okay to admit it. I recall some nice articles about him during his time here, and he seemed like a really good guy. Thanks for posting. I remember the same. Good for him. Bad look for the haters.
