  1. I agree. It seems like McDermitt and Whaley are on the same page. Let's hope one of these pick ups is a gem besides Hyde, as he is solid. If we have a great draft, we can turn this team into 10 wins, but can all of you who own fast food restaurants please lock your doors when Dareus comes to town. I'm so sick of him coming into town out of shape, pulling hamstrings because he's never heard of this class called Yoga, and getting suspended. Sorry guys for the duplicate. I-Pad acting up.
  2. He hasn't been solid since the SB year, and other defenses figured him out. He's RG2.0. He stares down his WR, and is not as good as TT. We have an opportunity in the draft to take another late round QB. Remember Polish thinks Chad Kelly is the best in this class and is projected to not be taken until the 5th because of off field stuff. I don't care about the uncle connection, but I've watched him and he is good with a strong arm and hits tight windows. He'll be so cheap and let Cardale and him duke it out for second or third spot. TT is not going anywhere for two years. Those are my thoughts. I want nothing to do with Karpov, Johnny Football, RG3 or anyone like them, and no it has nothing to do with his protests although I find them detestable, he does have the right to do it. The NFL won't touch that issue.
  3. I just hope we finally see 16 full games of Sammy. I'm sick of getting excited watching him to play to be injured the next game.
  4. You make some good points and remember how much better Miller played in his second year vs. the first. Washington with a whole off season and mentoring from Kyle should get better as well.
  5. I think it's definitely a possibility, but the bottom line is they'll set up their board, see who. Gets plucked in the first 9, and at 10 they'll evaluate whether it's WR, CB, S as they are in need in each area, and see who is the best at the position. It would be foolish to force a WR if there is a better CB or S available.
  6. Funny as I remember so vividly when the Pats were an automatic 2 wins each year a couple decades ago. We'll get there.
  7. He's a good #2 for us. Besides this RB draft class is deep, and they are cheaper than Gilleslee.
  8. Welcome transplant. I enjoyed reading your research, and someone made a point about productivity, vs. losing every starting WR corp for a good portion of the game. The Bills had no better options, saved money. On the contract, Taylor gets more time to prove himself, and we have I hope a better coaching staff. We'll see after the draft and the second tier free agency pans out. I'm reserving judgment, but if Taylor had guys like AJ Green, and other star WR, would we see a much different Taylor. I don't know. I like the comment by the coaching staff of a philosophy to go taller with WR when you have a 6'1" QB. We still have a good line, great running game, and expect the defense to be better with this staff.
  9. I could see a third, but not higher. The new staff want youth. Cheap labor for four years. I'd be shocked if they would consider their first or second. Those are gold.
  10. Yeah and he's got the same name as Wolverine.
  11. I don't see McDermitt even considering him due to risk, and I'm not crazy about all of these second chances. When you get suspended for over a year, you've been caught so many times using drugs the risk is way too high. I'm not concerned with people's opinions on marijuana. I could care less, but it's against the law and NFL rules. You want to risk Illinois of dollars over weed. That is just plain stupid.
  12. I sense a change as well, and we'll see more of it as mentioned in the draft and OTA's.
  13. Amen! I really like what McDermitt has been doing and have cautious optimism. I have a much better vibe than when the clown arrived.
  14. Well, I agree with your assssment -$7,000,000 for Mills and Alexander, -$5 mil or so for rookies, and some held back for the year sounds like maybe $12-13 mil. They'll have to restructure Dareus and Glenn, or were shedding more players.
  15. I don't dislike EJ. He actually comes across like a nice young man, but just doesn't have the skills to play in the NFL. Hopefully, he finds a starting spot in the CFL.
  16. They would never give up their top pick but I could see th 33rd, but would strong arm for Prior. Whoev r we chose in the draft would have Prior, Sammy and whoever else we draft.
  17. Thanks bud. I can't speak to their board, but I still love this one. I was in CA for two weeks in some surgical training so great to be back and read my friends opinions (well most of you - Whoops, just kidding.,
  18. Dumb question as I usually just come here, what does BBMB stand for? Is it Buffalo Bills Message Board?
  19. Just remember Simien played behind a terrrible O Line and no running game. We have one of th e better O Lines in the NFL, and the best running game in football. Now get him some real WR. who are not always hurt or suck, and maybe he would play well. I still am assuming McDermitt won't let TT go as he is a placeholder while we search for the next two years in the draft.
  20. The difference is outside of what is noted above, but RI kept getting better each year. He was playing well at Miami before the bullying issue. Hardy was out of shape and played terrible for Dallas not to mention the sideshow he is for the team. I wouldn't take him for free. Not a McDermitt guy.
  21. Shotgunner, although I appreciate with 40 something eyes the larger font, but that was a little overkill buddy. We'll read your posts in normal size.
  22. He is 71. I still like listening to his POV. He's on late hits on Tuesday nights so fun to ask him a question or two.
