  1. I see us building something like the Colts stadium. It’s been awhile, but at that time it was $700 mil. Or so. If we remain under a billion, everyone will be happy. The biggest thing is they buy enough space so we don’t lose our tailgate experience, as they probably would build in the first ward. Land is cheap and the state could give a sweetheart deal on taxes if so. we’ll see. NF doesn’t have the infrastructure, and the Ralph has seen it’s dayby 2023. That will be 52 years at Rich Stadium. Believe me I love where it is now as whole family lives in Hamburg and OP, but probably not practical.
  2. As much as I love Hockinson at TE, as he could be generational, it does make sense to take Taylor at 9, or trade down a few slots, then get Hockinson. Either way, offense, offense, offense. we can always trade up with 10 picks to get back in the first round to take one of the other two specialties you mentioned. I read too much about volume, but wouldn’t you rather get 7 picks and move up a couple of better players. Hardly anyone starts at the 5 th round or later. Those are depth picks. I know there are many exceptions so I understand, but the higher the pick, the greater the chance if picked well, we could get four day one starters, and maybe someone else before the end of the draft. we’ve made a lot of solid decisions in free agency, and still have $33 mil after the draft based on SPOTRAC. We can save some for next year, and make some decisions post draft as there will be talent out there.
  3. And Schoop and the Bulldog are unbiased. I respectfully disagree. I can’t stand how if you don’t agree with them, they slam them either when the caller is on, or after. Im not saying you make a good point Murph and Tasker can be a bit of homers, but the two are the JERRY Sullivan of the radio. Sorry for the caps on Jerry. That was an auto correct on my IPad. My fault for not checking before posting.
  4. I see his point. Too many owners are chasing the next Rams coach. I’d take the next Parcells any day. Look who he developed (Coughlin, Belicheck, and so on).
  5. I wont even listen to that show on any day, much less call intothose buffoons.
  6. As I’m reading this thread, I was thinking the same. Who cares though? It was in the 80’s and Ralph made the biggest mistake not staying out of the way of Knox. He turned this team around and won against the Dolphins for the first time in 10 years and had a terrific resume turning around the Rams. Then Mr. Wilson in his infinite wisdom fires the best coach we had since Saban.
  7. And do it all over again every three years. I see them getting the five years. I also am seeing a team being built from the ground up and spending wisely. Now we have 10 draft picks and still money to sustainably spend each year without going upside down (see Whaley). You can’t quick fix a program. If over the five years, they don’t consistently improve, yes I agree Bagarang.
  8. They don’t pick high enough to get the best pass rusher. They may pick one, but not a given.
  9. I love a PACs Bears game now that the Bears are good. Rodgers always puts on a show, and we’ll see how their newer management does with building up their defense this off season.
  10. 1 down, 2 B’s to go. I’d lay money it will be two more years, not 4-5 as those hits are going to pile up and Giselle is going to get sick of waiting losing him for half a year minimum. Id bet Brady skips a lot of OTA’s. Belicheck would be turning 69 three years from now so likely he rides off with Brady.
  11. Hey let’s go back to the Teddy Roosevelt days where 24 guys were killed in games. It was interesting the 100 years of football on NFLN. I’m glad we’re trying to make the game as safe as possible while still fun.
  12. The AAF is a great testing ground for new rules. I love the AAF eye in the sky, and televising it. If the NFL doesn’t comply, they are going to look like they are hiding something. Their games are limited to 2.5 hours so you can’t say it will take longer. If they we t for the 4th and 12, I’m fine with it, but only if the whole game. Having a different rule for the 4 th qarter is wrong. They should also still give the option of an on side kick. Give the losing team options. It won’t fly though.
  13. I remember that e ball. Romo said somethng “Did you see that?” They couldn’t believe his athleticism for his size. That defensive player is 6’5”.
  14. I don’t do twitter either, but would have voted for Josh. It was a dumb decision and hope he never does it again for his safety.
  15. That’s why we picked up the best returner for kicks and punts in the NFL, and a top flight gunner.
  16. He’s now a playground watcher at a girls school (sorry, poor taste). I have no idea, but probably in some business in marketing, etc. It’s hard to come back from those very public allegations. To all females, FTR, if true what he did was despicable.
  17. One less bozo out there. Hopefully, Bucky does a better job with the Church.
  18. He will never in any world make it to 9. Allen, Bona, Sweat, and so on are all going ahead of us. I don’t even know if anyone picks a QB in the top 10. I don’t buy the Murray rumor. I bet they take Bosa and stick with Rosen, b/c if they really would take Murray, Rosen would have already been traded.
  19. Only from film, I couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately we didn’t have a SB that year.
  20. I’m in heaven watching these smart signings. Out of all these. Pick ups, only Morse is committed beyond 2019. I hope people are getting more hopeful now with another 10 draft spots. My dream is we bundle the extra 4 and swap the 2 to get back in the late 1st, bundle our 3rd and extra 5th, to ge.t get into the second, and bundle the extra 7th with our 4 th to move higher in the 4th. The percentage 5th through 7 th’s usually do not start. 7 better picks is great compared to 10 picks, and just toss to the practice squad. We get 5 starters of 7 picks would be awesome. Go BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I love these mock drafts Pat and Mills do on Fridays on NFLR. For those of you who don’t listen a lot, they are great in the afternoon. I called in after Mills picked Hockinson at #9. I love the pick even though we just signed another TE yesterday. This is not a bad pick with Fantastic and one of the edge rushers.
  22. Chandler, I didn’t know you were so young. ? That’s pretty cool as you probably remember the AFC Championships in the 60’s. One more year and we would have been in the first SB. Crazy if we were in it. Granted the Packers would have killed us so KC had that joy.
