As much as I love Hockinson at TE, as he could be generational, it does make sense to take Taylor at 9, or trade down a few slots, then get Hockinson. Either way, offense, offense, offense. we can always trade up with 10 picks to get back in the first round to take one of the other two specialties you mentioned. I read too much about volume, but wouldn’t you rather get 7 picks and move up a couple of better players. Hardly anyone starts at the 5 th round or later. Those are depth picks. I know there are many exceptions so I understand, but the higher the pick, the greater the chance if picked well, we could get four day one starters, and maybe someone else before the end of the draft. we’ve made a lot of solid decisions in free agency, and still have $33 mil after the draft based on SPOTRAC. We can save some for next year, and make some decisions post draft as there will be talent out there.

He turned this team around and won against the Dolphins for the first time in 10 years and had a terrific resume turning around the Rams. Then Mr. Wilson in his infinite wisdom fires the best coach we had since Saban.

Now we have 10 draft picks and still money to sustainably spend each year without going upside down (see Whaley). You can’t quick fix a program. They don’t pick high enough to get the best pass rusher. They may pick one, but not a given.

I love a PACs Bears game now that the Bears are good. Rodgers always puts on a show, and we’ll see how their newer management does with building up their defense this off season.

The AAF is a great testing ground for new rules. I love the AAF eye in the sky, and televising it. If the NFL doesn’t comply, they are going to look like they are hiding something. Their games are limited to 2.5 hours so you can’t say it will take longer. If they we t for the 4th and 12, I’m fine with it, but only if the whole game. Having a different rule for the 4 th qarter is wrong. They should also still give the option of an on side kick. Give the losing team options. It won’t fly though.

I’m in heaven watching these smart signings. Out of all these. Pick ups, only Morse is committed beyond 2019. I hope people are getting more hopeful now with another 10 draft spots. My dream is we bundle the extra 4 and swap the 2 to get back in the late 1st, bundle our 3rd and extra 5th, to ge.t get into the second, and bundle the extra 7th with our 4 th to move higher in the 4th. The percentage 5th through 7 th’s usually do not start. 7 better picks is great compared to 10 picks, and just toss to the practice squad. We get 5 starters of 7 picks would be awesome. Go BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love these mock drafts Pat and Mills do on Fridays on NFLR. For those of you who don’t listen a lot, they are great in the afternoon. I called in after Mills picked Hockinson at #9. I love the pick even though we just signed another TE yesterday. This is not a bad pick with Fantastic and one of the edge rushers.

Chandler, I didn’t know you were so young. ? That’s pretty cool as you probably remember the AFC Championships in the 60’s. One more year and we would have been in the first SB. Crazy if we were in it. Granted the Packers would have killed us so KC had that joy.
