Well, we have 22.5 mil roundabout and probably will increase about 10 mil with cuts, and probably another 10 mil from the normal yearly increase. We have a bunch of prove it deals, so Beane will resign who he can, and extend guys like White, as long as he doesn’t want a mint. I wouldn’t worry about it just like the draft until next February. They purged a ton of stupid contracts, and are building for what we hope is long term success. Just remember with Allen on a rookie deal, it allows for other more expensive contracts.

SI very early 2020 mock draft
machine gun kelly replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
PTR- I appreciate the post as just trying to help, but I’ll think about the draft in February or March. Again, not about you, but why does anyone post a mock draft in the summer when we haven’t played the season, do not know who we pick up in free agency, resign people. They simply have nothing to report, so they write an article like this one. -
Tre’Davious White: “I’m one of the best doing it”

He was robbed for defensive rookie of the year. Glad we have him. -
I did that for twenty years. Unfortunately, I’m in a place that does not allow.DTV.

Would you want Marcus Simms thrown into the WR mix?
machine gun kelly replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have everyone we need and don’t need to give up a draft pick. -
That’s cool Rocket. I really believe he will improve in his completion rating this year with I’m hopeful of a better line, Beasley, and Jones underneath, instead of tucking and running. Besides how fun will it be watching Foster and Brown catching the most deep, over 30 yard passes in the NFL. I can’t wait for camp.

The Bills during Kelly’s time beat more NFC teams than losses during his tenure, so to just purport a crappy AFC doesn’t account for the Oilers, Raiders, Broncos, and so on. The Chiefs were also pretty good back then. I know it’s popular to say the AFC sucked back then, but it was not that much worse than the NFC as an aggregate. I also would have put Kelly ahead of Warner. I like Warner, but he had some bad years in NY, and resurrected his career in Arizona.

As much as I would like to see in OP and a partial roof like Seattle, I can only speculate the Pegulas have a long term plan, and was going to move downtown all along. Any of us could be wrong, but doubt the team is leaving Buffalo. He wouldn’t have invested this much into the downtown area now, to not have in 2023 downtown.

Death of the Hefty Lefty
machine gun kelly replied to RJ (not THAT RJ)'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way too young to pass. I only hope he’s at peace. -
Based on the poll I stated no roof, because I wanted what you indicate. Seattle has this where not completely covered at least shielding most of the rain out there. The same could be said for Buffalo with a new stadium, but snow.

I agree. How many teams have a tough time filling the seats like the three in FL. The veiled threat comment in yesterday’s article is silly. The NFL may want a new stadium, but the owners do not have to do what the league wants. They have autonomy as officially. the Pegulas are Goodell’s boss along with 31 other owners, not the other way around. Besides, in 2023 there will either be a new stadium, or $500 mil sunk into the current one. Some fans forget they renovated Arrowhead, Soldier field, and Lambeau field. I don’t worry about it as I feel confident the Pegulas won’t move cities, but find a solution in Buffalo.

The myth of the sophomore QB slump
machine gun kelly replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
716 and Jeff, well written and researched takes so thanks. I couldn’t agree more with a second year, more comfortability with two of the WR in Foster and Jones, Plus al of the other pieces, including beyond offense, Oliver wreaking havoc on the interior of opposing QB’s, should give us shorter fields on average ( a boy can dream Oliver or Hughes sacking Brady three times in the first half. In September). i don’t remember if Allen went to a school that wouldn’t let their players go to minicamps until after the semester or not. This is going to be a fun year. Im the eternal optimist as many of you have said to me, and still wanting to see 10-6, and one playoff win. That would be a great year while Father Time keeps ticking away at Brady. Lastly, we have an extra $22 mil in cap space, and with likely cuts will climb to $33 mil, plus another $10 mil cap increase, to extend the one year prove it deals we made this year in free agency. The future looks bright. 500 -700 rushing yards from Allen and 3500 yards passing is conceivable. Have a great Sunday as we all wait for training camp and jealous I can’t be with you at the open practices. -
Who has a better chance of making the 53?
machine gun kelly replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted for McKenzie, but anyone to make the 6th spot is going to make it for primarily special teams. The previous poster is right in that we have Forster, and Brown for any gadget plays.
