Steelers sign Melvin Ingram
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s old, slow, and banged up. It’s a big so what. That line will be horrific. We’re going to crush them week 1. Their defense will play well, but their offense won’t keep up. -
Records are made to be broken - From JK to JA
machine gun kelly replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree JA can break all of the real MGK records, but no ones touching the Juice’s record. 2003/14 is 143.07 yards per game. The next guy down was 128 yards and in a 16 game season. I even looked up prior to 14 games with Jim Brown in 12 games and not even close. No argument OJ is a rotten guy, but the best running back performance in history. It’s not even close. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Taking a Look at 2021
machine gun kelly replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First, Shaw, it’s football season coming if we get a Rockpile Review so thanks for the careful thoughts and preparation. I couldn’t agree more on coaching. Far too much time is spent on the raw talent argument vs. getting the absolute most out of a player. To some degree, all NFL players are uniquely talented, but it’s the right leadership, vision, and COACHING that makes it all work. I believe McBeane has exactly those qualities which is why it’s silly to lament the team will regress this year. I expect even more especially with the continuity of coaching. I can’t wait for camp, and the season. -
Richard Sherman Arrested

Nothing more than an agent trying to spin the facts. I never listen to these comments until the vetted truth comes out. His camp will figure it out. -
what Ridge, Do you want a piece of the action? I’m an unapolgetic fan of the silliness on Star Trek. My brother and I used to watch on Ch. 29 as a kid (reruns of course as not that old) So Ridge, is this in the book? What book? The book. Everything is in the book, you know what I mean. OP, do a basic search on PS rules as I sent out months ago and you’ll find on google. Back to 12 guys from pandemic 16, two get to be vets which is née from pandemic, and the other rules apply. Next year 14 guys. There are too many things to write not to get into Fizzben. I’ll just copy this for you. Long read except on Tuesday or at night. Watch the clip and you’ll get it. https://coachingkidz.com/nfl-practice-squad-salary/

Throwback Saturday -our 1st Super Bowl season.
machine gun kelly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you mean Packers for Lofton, but agree with you’re point on Sanders. When Chandler placed ascending, it reminded me of 1988, not 1990. I say that as we made it to the Championship game. Unfortunately, we backslid in the bickering Bills year, 1989, but galvanized the team in 1990. Lofton was definitely the missing piece for that team. -
2021 record prediction?

I’m glad. You’re on of the many good guys on the board. 12-5 is safe. I’m a little lofty in the 13-14 win realm, but so many variables. What of god forbid Diggs or even Allen were out for five games. I hate even thinking about it, but then again SF probably thought they would repeat a SB appearance last year and loom what happened to them. Happy Sunday brother. I’m off to church in a couple of hours to pay for my many sins. -
2021 record prediction?
machine gun kelly replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doc, I hope you know I really was kidding with you. I think you know I’m not snarky or mean spirited. My point was simply it’s going to happen just like 18 is coming with the next cba. Im not editorializing whether 17 or 18 is a good idea. I know many don’t like the additional games. -
2021 record prediction?
machine gun kelly replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doc, do you also not include the extra two games from 1978 on when we went to 16 games or 1961 when the NFL went to 14 from 12. 😂🤩🦬🏋️♂️ Im just kidding bud as I am the great Carnac and in seven years you’ll make predictions based on 17 games and we’ll start 18 games. My point is not to be snarky, just it’s going to change and inevitable. Some love it, and some hate it. Bottom line is the league wants to increase revenue so we are Going to 18 games by the next CBA. We’ll probably drop to 1-2 pre season games and a bunch of other accommodations. Ill put you down for 14-3 as we should beat the WTF team (17th). -
Of the two Parcells was the genius. BB is an excellent coach, and that shouldn’t be in question. Think what Parcells did. He won two SB’s with the Giants and the second one with his backup QB. He turned the Pats around from the lagging stock of the league to a winning team and on his fourth year the SB. Then he turned the Jets around as well as a joke to the championship game. He also turned the Cowgirls around as well. A lot of people don’t like him as he was prickly to the media, but it was calculated to use the media as a tool. BB is doing his best minus Brady by drafting a meh QB, getting tall TE’s and solid RB’s. This probably get him a slightly winning record beating mediocre teams say 9-8. They aren’t a playoff team. It couldn’t be better from our perspective. Win just enough to not have a high draft spot, lose enough to not make the playoffs.

2021 record prediction?
machine gun kelly replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You go dark Spidey. I like where you’re head is at, and agree with one exception. Either Indy or TN we have a hiccup and lose one of them so 14-3. I do think it’s plausible we lose during the season to KC, but then beat them in the playoffs. My reasoning is our two draft picks on DE, and Epenesa get enough experience throughout the year, they put it together and really make it rain by the playoffs (at least that’s my hope). -
That’s because he’s a good coach. It was his call post USC to pick Russell Wilson over the trade from GB for what’s his name at this point. Wilson was a 3rd round pick who everyone thought was too short and has been one of the best QB’s in the last decade. They made two SB’s, destroyed the Broncos, and was one play from a repeat. Marv coached into an advanced age. BB and Carroll will probably coach for another few years. You know BB is going to try and beat Halas and Shula’s records.

Shady is looking for a three peat
machine gun kelly replied to Might Rather's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CAK, I know the bro episode with George’s dad. I guess I’ll cut you some slack. Kidding bud. I could tell you didn’t watch the clip and honestly I almost forgot about it. I knew they had some glove reference from the OJ trial, but wasn’t sure myself either. All good bud, and you’ve been a really nice addition to this board, not that you need my affirmations. -
Brady is not going to be the one punished. That’s not in question. Only if he disclosed would the coach and team be punished, not the player. The player is not obligated to disclose as he can easily say he’s fine or an excuse Like a little arthritis in the knee. They can’t subpoena his medical records regarding Hippa if done by a private HCP. the only thing in question is if he disclosed and then the team is responsible, not him.
