Just curious…has Kolb even been in Buffalo since he was put on IR or did he just go home? Part of the reason to sign a vet QB was to help the young QB out so I’m wondering if that has happened. I haven’t seen him on the sideline at all.

Until we have the whole story…which we may never get…I’ll reserve judgment. There are 2 sides to every story. Freeman did play really bad over the past 10+ games (without looking up stats, he’s really only had 1 good season) and we have no idea how he’s carried himself behind closed doors. It definitely doesn’t sound like he’s a leader. He oversleeps and misses the team photo. He pouted over not being voted team captain by his peers. Who knows what kind of conversations he’s had with Schiano. Definitely a strange situation and I am interested as more info gets leaked.

It does feel like I'm getting poked in the eye on most Sundays... ...but some are worse than others.

I for one am happy the FB is finally being addressed. Maybe now all of our running plays won’t start from shotgun. Also, I think we should sign Payton Hillis (at least for a week anyways) so that he can have a chat with Byrd the turd and let him know that he really needs to get his a$$ on the field or risk his career going in a downward spiral.

I'll guess that Fred was on the field and not CJ? Can't say I noticed what he did though. My eyes followed the ball first and then quickly located the ceiling fan to be sure I didn't jump into it.

I have to admit, I’ve had Mr. Butt Chin on my fantasy team many times over the past few years. I hate the guy but he consistently puts up points regardless of who he’s playing against and he keeps throwing when they’re up by 30. The really good players are going to get theirs no matter what so I’ve never sat him when he plays the Bills…with how bad our defense has been the past few years, I’d be crazy not to start him. Since our defense was so bad against the run last year, I kept picking up the RB we were playing against whenever I could no matter who it was. Even when we won the game, we still allowed 200 yards on the ground. That strategy worked really well for me. Some will probably read that and say a true Bills fan would never do that but I’m in it to win it all around. That being said, no matter what, the Bills win is priority by a landslide. If my fantasy team can do good at the same time…great but I still root for Mr. Butt Chin to have the worst game of his life every time he plays us.

As last season wound down and the total disappointment set in, I changed mine to this. Now that training camp is about to start and the optimism is coming back (in the young players, not our chances) I’ll probably find something new soon. Although I’ll keep this one on standby because our track record says I’ll probably need it again in a few months.

This is another rebuilding year so we might as well see what the kid can do and get him some experience. Highly doubtful a missed kick would mean not making the playoffs. Plus, this is the 2nd year in a row we draft a kicker. It would be really pathetic if neither can make it in the NFL. On the other hand, Lindell is currently the only player on the roster that is older than me…so keep him so I don’t feel as old!!! K-Mart sux!!! But K9 is ok by me.

I was curious about them so I bought one of the Chinese knockoffs. (Don’t care what some may think about that…not going to drop $250 or even $100 on a jersey that’s not made in this country but that’s a topic for a different thread) After I got it, I did some research to see how close to being accurate it really is. Comparing to what was on Nike’s website, it appears to be spot on with the way it’s tailored although I can’t vouch for the actual materials used having not seen the real deal in person. It does have the combo of panels and mesh and is made out of spandex type materials. FWIW, the Game version I also got with it is made out of the exact same materials as the one I compared it to side by side in a local store. From what I’ve heard and seen with the knockoffs, the materials are typically correct but the colors and sizing may not be. So with all that being said, I’m not a fan of the Elite and like the Game version much better. Maybe it’s because the Game version looks more like every other jersey I’ve ever had. The Elite just don’t look right with regular clothes to me. The panel on the front kind of makes it look like your wearing a bib. Assuming you plan on buying the real deal, I would save your money and pass on the Elite…or at least wait until you can try one on to see what it looks like on you as opposed to buying one online. Hope this helps.
