  1. I heard that he doesn't want to be on TV anymore so...
  2. IMO, Josh had way to many negative plays to be the MVP. He was just too inconsistent this year. I personally think it should be CMC. 2000+ yards and 21 TDs is a very impressive season and he didn't even play the last game. But it'll most likely be a QB, probably Lamar.
  3. IIRC the Falcons tried having 1 guy do both a few years back and it did not go well. I'll try to find to guys name. *Edit* His name was Michael Koenen and it was the 2006 season. Coming out of preseason he was to handle all kicking duties. After going 2-8 on FGs, they signed an actual kicker. I don't recall anyone trying to have 1 guy do both since.
  4. There are many, many games over the past couple of seasons that we lost where the play or plays needed to win the game were there and our guys just didn’t make them. Coaching has had flaws but there’s only so much they can do. Players have to make plays.
  5. Well done. Having a sticker of all the teams on the Cowboys schedule plus the referee is classic. That sounded like Ryan Reynolds at the end. I can’t tell if that last sticker was of him or not. This was his kind of humor.
  6. I wouldn’t mind it at all. We’ve moved the ball and scored when Josh is running the show.
  7. I went to the game instead of watching it at home. I haven’t seen them win in person since the 90s.
  8. We also have Kyron Brown on the PS. Either he or Ingram probably get elevated.
  9. Is Kirksey still good? He did just get cut by Houston. I recall he had a few decent seasons a couple years ago but haven’t heard much from him since. I can’t imagine he plays special teams either. If we did, who would we cut to make room for him?
  10. She’s alive. The wink he gives the store clerk, is definitely a don’t tell my wife wink.
  11. The streaming quality was better than I thought it would be. I expected some week 1 hiccups but didn't have any issues at all. The only slight gripe I may have is with the Redzone channel. I thought they bounced around a little too much. Like when Chargers were driving, I believe toward the end of the 1st half, and were actually in the Redzone but they left to show a kickoff in another game. I don't think they missed a play but I found it a little annoying.
  12. I believe the hope was to use him in a traditional 4-3. TJ7 was just a better player so we stuck with the nickel. Hope he develops. Looked totally lost when he did play.
  13. He can be part of a pretty good duo though. He’s got a really good career YPC. If only he weren’t so slow.
  14. I doubt Singletary wants to resign with us. He averaged just over 10 carries a game this past season (which is ridiculous but that's for another thread). About 30 backs had more carries than he did last year. I think he'll go somewhere that says will give him the ball more. I see Cook, Hines and a FA type back with some size.
  15. I was 12 during that 1st Super Bowl loss and still remember that feeling of overwhelming shock that we lost the game. I couldn't believe it; I was just so sure we were going to win that game right up until the very end. It really did help teach me to keep my expectations in check. The last lines of the article really sum it up the best for me. "I just feel fortunate to get to watch them play.” That may be the best lesson of all.
  16. I don't think this was part of some master plan. Lil Dirty was injured and missed the game, Shakir is the next man up. If #6 plays this week, #10 will go back to his typical snap count.
  17. When it got close to the wire someone almost always stepped up and bought the remaining few thousand tickets so it would be on tv. Sometimes radio a station. Ralph did it a bunch of times.
  18. In pregame they mentioned load management and hitting the rookie wall. Don’t know if that’s it completely but kind of makes sense. Pats WRs are nothing special and maybe this was a good game to keep the old and slow Rhodes a shot from getting beat.
  19. Whatever it was they apparently let him back over the border so it couldn’t have been too bad. My guess is he brought his new “friend” back to the team hotel.
  20. The all white throwbacks should have been the choice here since the lions always were their throwbacks. There’s gonna be a lot of blue on the field. Go Bills.
  21. When the 4 man rush doesn’t get home in front of that zone D they usually convert. Our DBs need to turn around and play the ball at least a little. I’m guessing inexperience has something to do with that.
