  1. I don't read it as a dig at all. Some fans need to get thicker skin.
  2. Erm, please don't insert anything as such in me.
  3. I was unimpressed by most of the deals, the only one I/my girlfriend went in on was the complete season of Sons of Anarchy on DVD for $48.00.
  4. It's a streamable package only ie it has nothing to do with the TV side whatsoever. So if you're paying for TV now you can't upgrade to this. Instead would need to cancel TV service for 30 days and then sign up for this streamable package.
  5. Looks like Spectrum is offering a good deal to it's internet subscribers called Spectrum TV Stream http://info.spectrum.com/H/2/v40000015cf014e4ee9257fcf4bbe5cfc0/d2dad661-f3cb-4f18-b2fc-57166655d860/HTML that can get streaming feeds on iphones, androids, Roku, Xbox or Samsung smart tvs of 25 stations including all locals, A&E, AMC, History, USA, History TBS and TNT at $19.95 and then can add ESPN, NBC Sports and a few more for $12.00 and a nice deal on premiums at $15.00 for three years.
  6. For all we know he could have emerged prior but never really played him enough to see.
  7. Chad's a good bridge backup as Ullmark/Luukkonen develop elsewhere. Did he say anything about Nelson? As still baffled why we kept him in Rochester all year last year unless there were some expansion draft repercussions I wasn't aware of. One has to wonder WHAT IF we never traded Andreychuk for Fuhr and just stuck with Hasek.
  8. I haven't bought anything yet as not closing on the house in late July or early August but this thread been a fun read.
  9. Philly Brown. Most assume he's safe with the MCDermott Carolina connection but could see us going with Sammy, Holmes, Zay, Streater and Ross with Shorts on the Practice Squad.
  10. Someone may come free at the end of the preseason. I wouldn't rush to trade for anyone either unless someone wants to take Cardale off our hands. I didn't see you mention Gerald Hodges who's likely our starting WLB.
  11. Houston might be forced to start Deshaun Watson. Ironically a fellow Pitt alum, Tom Savage can never seem to stay healthy.
  12. So after years of apartment living I've finally took the step of buying a house which of course brings on new excitement and of course one of the first things I need to purchase is a lawnmower. I'm looking for something light that either mulches and/or bags for me and preferably cordless. I'm also thinking of a push button start in case I ever need the girlfriend to use it. Any suggestions?
  13. I think Holmes is a more complete version of the guy he's replacing Justin Hunter. As outside being the redzone threat that Hunter was he's also a very good special teams player.
  14. Maclin as he can be an above average #2 and at times a pseudo number 1 if Sammy gets hurt again. Toss in he's more proven. As I'd love to sign Maclin to a two or three incentive laden year contract as give us some insurance if we were to lose Sammy and/or allow Zay Jones to develop naturally and not force him to become a number 1 WR if he never becomes one.
  15. He does know they have buses and/or trains that be more cost effective if he didn't want to take a plane?
  16. Most of those mentions weren't cut but not re-signed. In terms of actual cuts I could argue guys like Ahmad Rashad, Brian Jordan or Martin Mayhew but am sure are others but these were the first names that came to me.
  17. December 28, 1996 started it as was amazed we could lose a home playoff game. Yet Homerun throwback marked the day I lament the most. As that was an ugly game but felt like RJ got some redemption by bringing us back with his wild sock only to see it forgotten because a crazy special teams gaffe.
  18. Preinjury WIlliams was thought to be a 2nd Round talent, to get that in the 5th Round is good value assuming he's fully recovered from his injury. I know a lot of people want to rip on Whaley but he did seem to have an eye for RB talent whether it be drafting Karlos or picking up Gillisee from the Cardinals practice squad, let's hope JWill follows as the next guy in line to be our above average backup. http://www.patspulpit.com/2016/2/17/11025798/nfl-draft-prospect-profiles-arkansas-rb-jonathan-williams
  19. but would have Dak even seen the field with Tyrod at QB last year mabe not until we were eliminated from the playoffs and would he have performed in the offense that we were running as a lot of his success came about last year because Garrett changed his offense for Dak, not sure if our rookie OC would have done that. Also let's not forget that Washington started almost the entire season due to Kyle Williams injury. It's easy to say X will be X regardless of situation but all too often X+Y=Z doesn't mean X+V=Y. I admit to being an EJ supporter as thought after his rookie season he just need to develop yet it never happened because Marrone was more concerned with his job and called for Orton and then left when appeared be stuck with EJ. That said EJ showed he wasn't worth holding on to in part because of that Jets game and many other poor outings prior. I'm glad we got Peterson as think he has some of the intangibles that could give him success in the NFL but only time will tell.
