  1. Yeah the days where we had a poor rushing attack.
  2. And this version of Pickens is playing opposite CeeDee Lamb which we don't have. So is Pickens really going to put up same numbers here? I doubt it. Toss in he'd still be in a rotation here cuz it's our philosophy/scheme to not focus on one guy but instead find the open guy vs keep feeding one guy. Look at Philly as an example, AJ Brown been an alpha there the last few years but this year they elected to share the wealth as it were an AJ stats aren't where they've been in years past.
  3. I'm just saying he was a HC with the Giants and he didn't have much talent around his QBs then. To assume he'd want different in Buffalo is up for debate.
  4. Cuz all the talent he put around Daniel Jones/Draft with the Giants?
  5. As a diabetic Thanksgiving is the worst holiday. Sure Halloween has candy but I can look past it. But carby stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and marshmallow tops, pie etc is just too hard to pass.
  6. But he won because his new team defense killed Mahomes.
  7. Is that you Eric Foreman?
  8. I'm pretty sure Tom Brady made the HOF doing this.
  9. You listen to some fans here the Chiefs WRs the last few years are all first ballot HOFers. I mean the audacity the Beane let the Chiefs draft Worthy, some even think it be wise that we draft him just to block him from Chiefs from getting him.
  10. Those teams were flawed. If we ran any kind of traditional offense we might have won a Super Bowl or two IMO. Yet everyone wants to go crazy over our great offense until it fell apart in the most important game of the season. Not just once but four times.
  11. It means your QBs is throwing to a spot and you're expecting your WR to be at that spot when ball gets there. Case in point you take a 5 step drop as a QB you should be throwing that as your foot lands on the that last step and anticipating your WR going to finish his route and be where you throw it. IF Josh decides to instead scramble to his right and looking for a WR well then it blows up the "timing of the play" and your WR then have to then adjust their routes accordingly. Short accurate passes to move the chains is what defines the offense.
  12. Apparently you missed the 1990s Super Bowl run Bills.
  13. Daboll's offense was based on the Air Coryell system, here's a video to help you understand better.
  14. or avoid going three and out and kill less than 3 minutes of clock. It totally killed the Bills in Super Bowl XXV.
  15. Basically the offense holds onto the ball and scores points while avoiding making bad plays (turnovers) and not flipping the field aka going three and out and punting leads to the defense to defend 50 yards compared to 70-80 yards.
  16. I guess I missed where you mentioned WR in your comment. 🙈
  17. Yeah he sure making James Cook look like a horrible player.
  18. and getting a Neiman Marcus WR could mean you couldn't add a guy like Bosa, so tell me would this team look better to you if let Shakir walk in UFA replace him with DK Metcalf and never signed Bosa? I will stand on a platform and say no.
  19. Just because we have Josh means we're a desirable spot because some coaches like to build their team with their guys and their philosophies, heck we saw it when McDermott first came here. As yes we had a chance to take Mahomes and Deshaun Watson (whom I felt was a better prospect at the time of the draft) but we elected to pass on both. Why? I think it was because the thought our team had to develop more before taking the chance on a top end QB that or the 2018 QB class was thought to be better than the 2017 class so we risked that by passing on a QB in 2017 we'd get a better one in 2018. All things considered I think it was the wiser choice as am not sure Mahomes would replicate his success if we took him instead of trading down for Tre White etc. Not because he isn't talented but he wouldn't have same roster talent around him and or ability to sit his rookie season or getting same coaching that got under Reid etc.
  20. I agree they have some of the best NFL front offices/coaching staff in the league. Yet as elite as they are the Bills are just a step or two below them which isn't to me worth blowing up as again change just for change sake isn't the wisest of things to do. I think some fans here think that just because we have Josh Allen that anyone would succeed with him when truth be told I disagree with it because there are 52 (and more) other guys and coaching staff on this team that have to contribute on some level to make us win/lose. I mean KC has Mahomes and same coaching staff as have had in for how long? Yet they've fallen a few pegs this season, why? In part because of injuries and teams behind them also have improved. Same thing happening here.
  21. It's great if that B level talent stays healthy but clearly it hasn't here in Buffalo. Look back on Biils starters opening day compared to playoff loss and bet several of our B level isn't there in the 2nd game.
  22. The last time the Bills drafted in the top 20 was in 2019 with Ed Oliver. In last two drafts the Rams and Bills both had six picks in top 100. Rams at 19, 39, 83, 99 46, 90 Bills at 33, 60, 95 30, 41 and 72. I see more higher picks on Rams side. So yeah think Rams draft position helps. Yet could counter point.
  23. I'd imagine he replaces Moore/Samuel and possibly Shavers.
  24. The Eagles and Rams have cheap good defensive players that allow them to pay for their high end WRs so yeah it's helped them be where they are today. So sure I'd take the Rams and Eagles other parts besides WR all things considered but at same time the Bills are also a result of their success. As the Rams and Eagles had had a few less than stellar year between Super Bowls to let them to be in position to draft those better young defenders which Bills have not due to again continued success in the regular season. I didn't even bring up these teams initial argument. I brought up the Steelers cuz the who premise is not going for elite talent aka Metcalf who to me sure excellent measurables that not always lived up to and he not fint well into our cap design.
