  1. Dependent on what you build around them.
  2. The Jets ran my thought process as couldn't think of another top end WR that got injured recently. I suppose Nico Collins might be another example.
  3. They're closing access to the area around City Hall til 9:00 pm tonight so going to be a real bottle neck down there.
  4. I heard he gambled it away at OTB and Byron Brown sold it back to us for $3.50
  5. It's not like we only lost Oliver, we also lost Hoecht, Benford etc. Most teams yes can afford one injury but when start adding them up it does matter.
  6. Maybe this will help us "unlock" the issues with the offense.
  7. Of course officer, I only had a drink or two and just "tipsy". 🙄
  8. Have you looked at the Steelers WR room outside of Metcalf? They truly are no names.
  9. and fans continue to bash the WR situation but we still have had an above average offense despite that. I get why Beane got frustrated with the call in radio hosts that do nothing more than criticize the WR room yet don't look at the big picture. Last season we broke records when it came to points per game both from a team standpoint and NFL standpoint yet all people wanted to do is lament that our WR sucked because we didn't have some alpha dog that put up ungodly stats. He also pointed out that many of the radio guys bashed Beane for drafting Allen instead of Rosen which in retrospect was the right call. The one thing I will say is in all the years he's been here the team has never bottomed out or looked like it couldn't win a game or two despite all the injuries we've had. Is it due to strong roster building aka not having to rely on super stars to pace you? Look no further than to the Jets who's passing offense is in shambles in part because Garret Wilson is hurt and they have nobody behind him that can step up and replace him. Yes, our offense been questionable since the Palmer injury but the plays have been available but for whatever reason Josh not been able to make them.
  10. I'm pretty sure he was a Michigan grad lol
  11. I understand why people want to let him go but the landscape out there not overly enticing to me.
  12. Crazier things have happened.
  13. Joe Burrow. Classic over draft by a poor GM in retrospect.
  14. Or when Reid finally goes white. Be part of the rotation at 3 tech.
  15. With all the injuries we've seen under McDermott I think he's done a remarkable job. He's similar to Reid in his Philly years. Yet I won't say he can lead us to a title as so many of our playoffs defeats came from a few plays missed by our offense or defense and the refs.
  16. Yeah I don't think it's wise to flush the season away cuz we might need him sometime to make a play and call it foolish but have hope he'll step up in the moment.
  17. I don't, as I have a feeling KC misses the playoffs this season.
  18. Shhhhhhh we have to go from the narrative that Keon is slow and can't separate because there's no way our GOAT QB can have an off day. We need a scape goat and the majority have chosen to make Keon just that.
  19. Toe tap/drag Gabe in the Indy playoff game was awesome.
  20. I know many felt Cordington was a waste of roster spot but to me he was good return man last year, this year he wasn't as good and obviously nobody stepped up based on those stats.
  21. The OL staying healthy am sure has helped keep JA17 healthy too but yeah injuries elsewhere are hurting this team as everyone talks about us beating KC in the regular season but losing to them in the post season, has anyone taken the time to see how close the lineups were on both teams in both matchups? Am willing to guess we'd see we have 2-4 guys that started in the regular season matchup are missing in the playoff matchup and why our defense not been as strong in the latter.
  22. Yeah sorry I'd rather the risk of drafting a kid you have under contract for 4 or 5 years than having to rent a guy for one year and then paying him more than said rookie you draft to keep. I get some teams have mortgaged first round picks for veterans (see the Rams) and had some success but to me not the wisest thing to sustain success.
  23. You do realize McGovern, Edwards, Daquan, Larry O, AJE, Milano, Shaq, Gilliam, Lewis, Franklin,Wishnowski, Prater, Nelson are all UFAs with about $7m in cap space as things stand now? I know we can re-sign them all but I would say at least 5-6 would be nice returners but we're going to adjust our cap significantly to get just those back too. So with all those roster holes and little cap room how do you propose we get that AND what your want back?
  24. My immediate team thought.
