  1. Lawson is going to be on thee tops of many teams lists. I like Dawuane Smoot as he's a lesser name and likely less money but been good player the last two years and might want to move on from Jacksonville with a chance to start.
  2. . He's also tall, 6'6". Darryl Johnson, AJ Espensa and Trent Murphy are all 6'6" as well
  3. We've always gone for the low cost olineman in free agency with McBeane except when signed Morse.
  4. It's more as the signing bonus is prorated over the years of the contact too. $7.05m this year isn't horrible.
  5. 4 years isn't that long as he could still get another pay day at 30.
  6. Yeah my phone didn't take the 0, I edited my initial post.
  7. If the structure is as outlined I'm okay with Milano counting $7.05 M of the cap this year.
  8. I guess just curious how all the pieces fall in place.
  9. If Klein can be used on 3rd downs or passing downs as a pass rusher he fills a role otherwise he's wasting cap space on the bench.
  10. Nice to have him back, yet that's a big chunk of our cap. Hopefully we can free up more room to fill other needs.
  11. I believe it's the Broncos.
  12. I have no reason to say no. He could be another TJ Yeldon in sense could be inactive on game days but does add an element we could use.
  13. I disagree, we've brought in low cost olineman under McBeane era with the exception of Morse. We might take one guy to replace Williams or Feliciano in Round 1 but not shocked if sign a free agent or two in the $2-3 million dollar range to compete to start or provide depth.
  14. Or get a big TE, I'd love 6'6 Hunter Henry but he's going to get paid by someone else am sure.
  15. We need a more reliable guy than Knox. To me guys like Everett and Smith could do that. With the cap tight I'd hope get either at $7m in 2021 and expand it over future years.
  16. I'd rather use big money on a TE and a lower cost speed WR. Yet also need interior oline help and possibly right tackle not to mention CB2 and LB and pass rush.
  17. I wouldn't be shocked if the Patriots drafted Mac Jones with their top pick this year.
  18. Tough to say as think Gabe Davis let us forget what most rookie WRs do. Yet as said in my updated post I'd love to get D'Wayne Eskridge in Round 5 as feel he could replace Brown/Roberts and maybe even McKenzie.
  19. They aren't great but affordable and likely produce better than a rookie.
  20. John Ross might be fast but in an unspectacular WR. If want a Brown replacement I look at Stills, Marvin Hall, Phillip Dorsett before I even consider Ross. Ultimately think we'd be wise to draft someone to replace Brown and Roberts. I'd love getting D'Wayne Eskridge in Round 5.
