  1. Can anyone imagine @ScottLaw actually understanding what a GM’s job is?
  2. We simply must give Josh more “easy wins” this year.
  3. I see that all of the Holiday Inn Express docs and the internet “I watched the video” diagnoses are prevalent in this thread. For crissakes, folks, say you feel badly for the kid, hope it’s not serious, and wait for an actual diagnosis, ok?
  4. Thank you. The major flaw in this analysis is calling Josh a “true running QB.” Just because he can run and does it effectively doesn’t make him a running QB, and he is probably 10x the passer of anyone on that list save Steve Young.
  5. Kelly Krunch was a good cereal name as well...
  6. So Stef won!
  7. I must just view the world differently than a lot of people. Last season was full of wonderful moments: opening night blowout at LA, trashing the Oilers in the home opener, beating KC (again) on the road to name a few. The two kickoff return TDs in the Pats*** game…what was better than that? The season ended poorly and the team faced unprecedented challenges, but it was a hell of a season.
  8. I agree with the Diggs/Davis/Knox/Kincaid contingent. Gives the D the most to think about and stresses their personnel decisions.
  9. Don't the new rules in the KO game lessen even further the need for a "dynamic" return game? Sucks for Hines...particularly since he was doing nothing wrong and some moron hit him.
  10. I love golf. It’s a pursuit that can never be perfected and provides endless challenges, but is also extremely rewarding. I did not grow up playing golf and have only taken a sporadic handful of lessons. We joined a country club five years ago primarily so I could spend more time playing. I have a great group of friends I play with regularly. I play 9 holes in a Tuesday night league, and my regular outing is 18 on Sunday mornings. When the weather is good I walk. My wife plays a bit and we enter couples tournaments at the club. I have a decent amount of natural athletic ability and have managed to keep a 15 handicap despite rarely practicing. I hit the ball a long way but lack consistency. I recently decided I will devote some legitimate time to practice in an effort to get my handicap to 10. My best round is a 79, but my “usual” round these days is anywhere from 85 to 94. Edit: I love @billsfanmiamioh’s story about the Cradle. That is such a fun course. I was just down there a week ago when we took our Sunday group on a “road trip” to play Pinehurst #1, have lunch, and then finish with the Cradle.
  11. Bwahahahahahaha! If he reaches even half that production I’ll buy you a beer.
  12. They're calling it the Atlantic City offense.
  13. Some additional categories: Most likely to blow a gasket over something Colin Cowherd says Most likely to start a thread with "hear me out" Most likely to overuse emojis
  14. As is the statement “this is a giant nothing.”
  15. And from this day forward July 20 shall be known as “F*** Dan Snyder Day!” (Yes, I understand he just made a lot of money, but this was his baby and you know it HURTS!)
  16. Are you an idiot? Serious question. I have no idea what your background is but I have to deal with the repercussions of serious car wrecks every day, and what this guy could have done at that speed is nothing short of catastrophic. “Normal” people don’t do this. Ever. It is a huge sign of immaturity and “I’m better than everyone else” disease.
  17. Anyone who “predicts” this team would miss the playoffs is a complete moron. The only way the Bills miss the playoffs is if they sustain catastrophic injuries at multiple positions (Allen, Diggs, etc). The Bills are a top 5 team in the NFL. Period. It’s not something that is even reasonably debatable. A lot of Bills fans are still scarred from the drought. We don’t know how to deal with being considered one of the elites because it hasn’t happened since the early 90s. But we are. The likelihood of reaching/winning the AFCC is far greater than the likelihood of missing the playoffs.
  18. You’ve got a crappy memory, my boy. Not only did I not say the Bills’ WR corps was beyond reproach, I specifically advocated drafting one early and was on record as being supportive if they chose to go after OBJ. I just wouldn’t agree with your hot take that they were a steaming pile of trash after Diggs. As it turned out, Davis never really got it going (and was dinged), Crowder got hurt, and McKenzie did not live up to expectations. They still won 14 games. And…”butt buddy?” Really? Grow up.
  19. So many feels...
  20. I see I’m living rent-free in @ScottLaw’s head as well. Too funny. The bottom line here at TSW is that any reasonable optimism is often met with disdain by “those who know better.” Some folks know how to debate and disagree without being a-holes. Unfortunately, some also do not. I’ll continue to be the voice of reasonable optimism around here, for better or for worse.
  21. I hear you, but IF the Bills were in that game and IF he had to play...anything could happen.
  22. Nobody is suggesting they would. The thread is about signing him if he is cut.
  23. I think Kyle Allen is probably the best backup QB we've had in a while. Obviously we don't want Josh to miss time but if the OL proves to be a good bit better this season I think Kyle could keep the ship afloat with this team if he had to.
