I don’t know whether or not they have the eye of the tiger, but after what they went through last year they sure look like survivors to me…

Total meathead look -
Umm, no. What I and most reasonable fans understand is that expecting every move a GM makes to be perfect is foolish. If these guys are right even half the time they are doing a good job — particularly with drafting. And by the way, I love how you and others actually hold it against Beane that he oversaw the process that identified Josh as their target and then manipulated the draft to go and get him. That’s priceless.
-
Anyone else not buying the Rodgers “kumbaya” bullshite?
-
Sometime you should really just sit back and listen to yourself. “Beane hates…” “he doesn’t trust his scouts…” umm, what? Just because Beane doesn’t do what couch potato ScottLaw would do doesn’t mean any of this nonsense. And yeah, Beane has really “held this team back” from being one of the 5-6 teams that has a legitimate shot at the SB each year.
-
Well, since the guy they would be replacing sucks ass, does it matter?
-
They did. Shell and Gouriage. There are options.

Hey, @ddaryl and @Max Fischer — why don’t the two of you go down to the gym and pump each other?

As nice as it is to hear good things about Ray, I refuse to allow myself to be baited into believing he will make this team. His path is simply unprecedented. If it happens, I’ll gladly enjoy the rewards…but right now I’m a “I’ll believe it when I see it” guy in this respect.

This should end well.

Several of us around here — I know I was one — brought up this point immediately after that game. The Bills were a team that was beaten down physically and emotionally. I don’t recall a season in which a team faced so many challenges throughout the course of the year. My hope is that working through all of that has now made them even stronger and more resilient, and they have a huge chip on their shoulders.

Truly one of a kind. HBD Marv!

Thank you for clarifying your obvious bias. Now I know I don't need to argue the point further.

The Bills match up just fine with the Bengals when we have our full complement of defensive players.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?

The only reason Harty's numbers don't dwarf Li'l Dirty's is because of injury -- which is relevant, but I'm working under the assumption that Harty can stay reasonably healthy now that he has the NFL's best training staff. Li'l Dirty just wasn't reliable. He'd have a big game (like the Pats* in '21) but disappear for large stretches. He did not do a good job in the slot. I'll go with Harty/Sherfield/Y2 Shakir over Li'l Dirty any day. -
11-23 as a HC and riding a current 6-game losing streak.
-
Saleh is a successful HC? I think the jury is still out on that one…

I don’t think you can put the WRs in a vacuum; you have to include the TE room and the addition of Kincaid will make the overall passing game much stronger — as will, I believe, the increased use of Cook as a pass catcher. And even if we’re just discussing WRs, Harty/Sherfield > McKenzie and Davis was hampered last year by his boo-boo foot. The Bills’ offense should be noticeably better, IMO. -
So, I’ve only watched the US-Netherlands game in this tournament so far. Are the US that bad? Looks like they should have been bounced. What happened?

Let’s allow this post to sit and age this season. Will it be fine wine, or a bottle of vinegar? Time will tell…

He also said Settle had a good day, while the Buff News this morning said Settle sat out with a groin issue.

Yours is literally the first hard-on for Nate Hackett I’ve ever witnessed. The guy is a walking example of nepotism. If “Dorsey needs Allen” then most certainly “Nate needs Rodgers.” One blip of a season with Blake Bortles didn’t make Nate a genius.
-
And that changed in Jacksonville? Hackett may have some good ideas but he’s no “genius.” He was a colossal flop in Denver. We will see what Rodgers has left this year.
