Sounds like a "we're ready for our day off" kind of practice this morning...at least from the offense.

How Is Everyone Finding Updated Information?
eball replied to CABraves-BillsFanSince1992's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s funny. I used to swear at Bleacher Report. But seriously, it’s here and Twitter. Although Twitter does now suck. There are numerous podcasts that do great recaps and provide thorough analysis…Cover1 being the best of them. -
I don’t think there is a single Bills fan making the determination whether to watch them on TV, or attend a game, based upon what helmet they wear. There’s no revenue in retro helmets, and the Bills jerseys of the 90s are so similar to today’s that people aren’t going to buy them either. The sole change I would like to see is the elimination of the red combo…but people buy those red jerseys so…

Is it any GM’s MO to give up on draft picks after one season? I seem to recall you also saying Beane would “never” admit his mistake with Cody Ford… Beane gives players he drafts a chance — which is just about the most normal, reasonable thing any GM would do. He also doesn’t think, as you apparently do, that a player “is who he is” after one season and can never grow or develop.
-
He was also joking with Diggs and Dorsey moments later, stayed to sign autographs, told media members he passed by that he was ok, and did an extended, stand-up interview with NFL Network afterwards. Never seen by trainers, no hurry to get into the locker room. I’d say your concern is a little unfounded. Seeing as how Beane spent his #1 draft pick and WR FA pool on three slot players, I’m not sure how you come to that conclusion at this point in training camp.

Based upon what exactly?

I'm sensing a "get off my lawn" isn't that far away...

That aged well. Approximately two posts well. 😂

Meh. I’ve been around the block and can differentiate between coach-speak and reality. McD and Beane would never disparage Frazier publicly. And yes, everyone is enamored with Edmunds’ abilities, but that doesn’t mean he’s “the” difference maker in today’s NFL.
-
If Frazier thought Edmunds was the key to having the #1 or 2 defense, it was definitely time for him to step away. This was the softest yet most obvious firing ever.

I’ve been on the Cook bandwagon since before the end of last season when I predicted he would be the Bills’ primary back this year. I doubled down in the “players you expect to break out” thread earlier this spring. It’s going to be fun to watch.

I’m disappointed, @BADOLBILZ…where are the 30 emojis in that post?
-
Well done. For the record, I think @PBF81 and @Einstein are one and the same.
-
This is typical for you — accuse the optimist of being too optimistic because it is so much more fun to expect the worst and predict failure.
-
I’ve posted nothing of the kind. I’m just watching and enjoying.
-
Yes, we are hoping — with at least some logical basis behind that hope. I haven’t forgotten Gabe’s playoffs in 2021.
-
Brother, if you call that post a “bash” you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! ’Tis the season for optimism, and any fan focusing on the negatives is just not my type of fan!
-
If he shows the improvement this year that we expected last year, he’ll be as good a #2 WR as there is.

Always great to hear from the “pump the brakes” crowd during training camp!

Yes, you are infamous for your “no player has the ability to develop or grow” takes — which are almost always proven wrong.

Nice article on Gabe in the Buff News this morning. Guys like @ScottLaw will scoff but there are reasons why Davis was not stellar last year, and I think anyone who sleeps on him this year is in for a surprise.
-
@ScottLaw did you steal Jerry’s account?

Sean Payton not a fan of the Jets off-season
eball replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
When is the last time Sean Payton won anything? Asking for a friend…
