  1. Well done. For the record, I think @PBF81 and @Einstein are one and the same.
  2. This is typical for you — accuse the optimist of being too optimistic because it is so much more fun to expect the worst and predict failure.
  3. I’ve posted nothing of the kind. I’m just watching and enjoying.
  4. Yes, we are hoping — with at least some logical basis behind that hope. I haven’t forgotten Gabe’s playoffs in 2021.
  5. Brother, if you call that post a “bash” you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! ’Tis the season for optimism, and any fan focusing on the negatives is just not my type of fan!
  6. If he shows the improvement this year that we expected last year, he’ll be as good a #2 WR as there is.
  7. Always great to hear from the “pump the brakes” crowd during training camp!
  8. Yes, you are infamous for your “no player has the ability to develop or grow” takes — which are almost always proven wrong.
  9. Nice article on Gabe in the Buff News this morning. Guys like @ScottLaw will scoff but there are reasons why Davis was not stellar last year, and I think anyone who sleeps on him this year is in for a surprise.
  10. @ScottLaw did you steal Jerry’s account?
  11. Perfectly said. Every year the teams that win championships essentially get more “breaks” than everyone else. Nobody remembers it. All that matters is the trophy. And I completely agree on a human level for the individual involved.
  12. When is the last time Sean Payton won anything? Asking for a friend…
  13. Can anyone imagine @ScottLaw actually understanding what a GM’s job is?
  14. We simply must give Josh more “easy wins” this year.
  15. I see that all of the Holiday Inn Express docs and the internet “I watched the video” diagnoses are prevalent in this thread. For crissakes, folks, say you feel badly for the kid, hope it’s not serious, and wait for an actual diagnosis, ok?
  16. Thank you. The major flaw in this analysis is calling Josh a “true running QB.” Just because he can run and does it effectively doesn’t make him a running QB, and he is probably 10x the passer of anyone on that list save Steve Young.
  17. Kelly Krunch was a good cereal name as well...
  18. So Stef won!
  19. I must just view the world differently than a lot of people. Last season was full of wonderful moments: opening night blowout at LA, trashing the Oilers in the home opener, beating KC (again) on the road to name a few. The two kickoff return TDs in the Pats*** game…what was better than that? The season ended poorly and the team faced unprecedented challenges, but it was a hell of a season.
  20. I agree with the Diggs/Davis/Knox/Kincaid contingent. Gives the D the most to think about and stresses their personnel decisions.
  21. Don't the new rules in the KO game lessen even further the need for a "dynamic" return game? Sucks for Hines...particularly since he was doing nothing wrong and some moron hit him.
  22. I love golf. It’s a pursuit that can never be perfected and provides endless challenges, but is also extremely rewarding. I did not grow up playing golf and have only taken a sporadic handful of lessons. We joined a country club five years ago primarily so I could spend more time playing. I have a great group of friends I play with regularly. I play 9 holes in a Tuesday night league, and my regular outing is 18 on Sunday mornings. When the weather is good I walk. My wife plays a bit and we enter couples tournaments at the club. I have a decent amount of natural athletic ability and have managed to keep a 15 handicap despite rarely practicing. I hit the ball a long way but lack consistency. I recently decided I will devote some legitimate time to practice in an effort to get my handicap to 10. My best round is a 79, but my “usual” round these days is anywhere from 85 to 94. Edit: I love @billsfanmiamioh’s story about the Cradle. That is such a fun course. I was just down there a week ago when we took our Sunday group on a “road trip” to play Pinehurst #1, have lunch, and then finish with the Cradle.
  23. Bwahahahahahaha! If he reaches even half that production I’ll buy you a beer.
  24. They're calling it the Atlantic City offense.
  25. Some additional categories: Most likely to blow a gasket over something Colin Cowherd says Most likely to start a thread with "hear me out" Most likely to overuse emojis
