  1. I picked up the Fish D in fantasy just for W1 against McCorkle and the anemic Pats***. Hoping for a 10-6 snooze fest.
  2. I encourage Bills fans to take a step back and simply enjoy whatever run we have with Josh. The “we have to win the SB this year or the season is a failure” mentality is, in my own insignificant opinion, unhealthy. As the article suggests, JA is probably a once-in-a-lifetime talent — not a trend of NFL QBs into the future. If things progress as they should, the championships will follow given the strong organizational structure in Buffalo. I’m going to enjoy the hell out of this.
  3. Prediction: James Cook is the starting RB going into 2023. I feel like he has skills akin to Thurman, albeit with more speed. 2022 is Motor’s year, but he won’t be signed to a 2nd contract and I won’t be surprised if we see more and more of Cook as the season progresses. Cook will make the passing game better by being an extra weapon for Josh.
  4. I can’t get the video to play, but who were 1 and 2?
  5. Finally signed up for streaming using the college student eligibility. Easy as pie.
  6. Sweeney and Morris would have been snatched up by the Giants in a heartbeat. Howard obviously was not.
  7. Pot, meet kettle.
  8. Team age can be a misleading stat, and I think in the Bills’ case it is a bit misleading. Much of the age on this team is in the form of veteran depth, particularly on the OL. The safeties are obviously older but potential replacements are on the roster. On the D line only Miller is “old” but he shows no signs of slowing down. There will always be roster churn from year to year, and nobody can keep rolling out the “same” unit for more than a few years. Long story short — I don’t view this statistic as anything to be “worried” about for the Bills short- and long-term future, particularly when they have a 26-yo stud at the most important position in the game.
  9. You’re one to talk, Puntin.
  10. Because the Bills might do that once all year.
  11. Tenuta (Colts), McCloud (Giants), Owen (Saints), and Kingsley (Bears) were claimed off waivers.
  12. Tenuta (Colts), McCloud (Giants), Owen (Saints), and Kingsley (Bears) were claimed off waivers.
  13. LOL, I appreciate the sarcasm, but you can agree that both things could be true, right?
  14. Yeah, that's disappointing to hear.
  15. So, even accounting for Star, Daryl Williams, and OJ Howard, the Bills' dead cap for 2022 is just over 22M...which is below the league average of 26M. Something else not to get worked up about. Carry on.
  16. I can sum up everything said about OJ Howard in Bills camp as follows: - huge, physically imposing human - slow, plodding route runner - no explosion Why do we care where he goes? Beane swung and missed. End of story.
  17. I probably don’t have to say this to most fans on this board (particularly those 40 and older), but we need to just sit back and soak this all in for the next however many years. I think we’ve got the NFL’s Tiger Woods on our roster (minus the hookers) and when it’s all said and done it’s going to be an amazing story.
  18. Barkley is 100% going to be there. Who knows, Davis Webb may join him. I’d like to see Duke Johnson brought back. He looked good to me in preseason. Blackshear also. Figure that several of the O-linemen will come back.
  19. Finally had a chance to watch the whole thing. All I can say is “wow.”
  20. So, of the four games he’ll miss, I think we’ll only really miss him in two of them — at LA and at Miami. Those teams have the WR corps to do damage. Tennessee and Baltimore aren’t scaring anyone with their passing games. As others have noted, this staff’s ability to coach up DBs, combined with what we all expect will be an enhanced DL, relieves my anxiety considerably. I’m glad they are being patient with Tre and making sure he is 100% before returning.
  21. Those pathways were designed to allow fans to easily outrun any loose alligators on the property.
  22. I’d like to think Erik has matured a bit since then…he doesn’t strike me as the sort to have that type of reaction but I think that was back when he first started doing his stuff.
  23. Agreed. Cook isn’t a guy who needed to “get some work” in the preseason. He’s got an excellent pedigree and played college football at the highest level. He was drafted to bring something to this offense we haven’t had in a very long time. There is no question in my mind Dorsey had no intention of showcasing Cook in meaningless games.
  24. I’m sure you already know this, but this place is tough on actual media types who dare to come in and post. I mean, some folks here are relentless, and not very respectful. Now, I agree that some of the posters who have left are probably a little too thin-skinned, but I can understand them saying “I don’t need this s-h-i-t” also.
  25. Somebody take McD's phone away, STAT.
