  1. This is a perfect summation of what I was thinking regarding Crowder. Also, your take on the OL should be required reading for a few on this board. THIS WASN’T EVEN THE 2ND STRING OL. I’m not worried about Keenum because he is a pro and will do what’s needed if (god forbid) Josh misses any significant time. He was playing with a bunch of stiffs (and Shakir). The big winner in my opinion last night was Brandon Beane.
  2. Such a poor decision (and poor counseling/advice from family/friends) to not have an agent. It’s really mind boggling. I’m not hating on Lamar, but he is not qualified to negotiate contracts. It really is that simple. Gotta question the kid’s judgment. Unfortunately for the Ravens they are in a bind, but if Lamar had an agent I think this deal would have been done months ago.
  3. This. Tasker is brutal, but they’ll never oust him until he voluntarily retires. I actually like Rob Ray and think he adds insight to the Sabres’ broadcasts. Tasker just talks a lot without really saying anything.
  4. Tim Settle is going to be a problem.
  5. Much to @ScottLaw‘s dismay.
  6. Given the fact Araiza didn’t have any issues with holding, I’d say Puntapalooza ‘22 is pretty much a wrap.
  7. Oh my god, Case. Just awful.
  8. Yeah, barring a slew of injuries I don’t see a scenario in which Duke Johnson makes this roster.
  9. Tasker has diarrhea of the mouth.
  10. Don’t stop @ScottLaw he’s on a roll…
  11. Not a good look for the Indy 1st string so far. Zero Bills starters.
  12. Actually, someone just stated facts that as the Vikings starter Keenum led them to the NFC Championship game.
  13. @ScottLaw will be so relieved.
  14. We’re six pages in…have we figured out whether Malik is going to be a big problem or a small problem?
  15. I don’t want to get into it here, but there is a great analysis out there (Cover1 I think) that compares that throw to the one Josh made to Sanders in the 3rd quarter of the same game. A guy with a stronger arm gets the ball to the receiver more quickly. McCorkle had to loft his to get it there — it was accurate, but gave Hyde the time to make the play. It’s a great example of where a “good” pass isn’t good enough.
  16. 6.1 yards per attempt, 2 picks, and a QB rating of 75.8. He wasn’t good. His noodle arm is the reason Hyde could make that INT. McCorkle can motivate himself all he wants. He’ll be losing to the Bills for a long time.
  17. Any predictions on attendance? I’m gonna say 55K.
  18. …and, a little bit closer.
  19. I posted this in another thread, but I think the OC needs to know that he has somebody on the sidelines he trusts to communicate face-to-face with the QB between series. I think Dorsey has that in Brady, and I expect Dorse to stay in the booth. He already said he’s going to be in the booth today.
  20. I’m here for the rookies, and no injuries. Will be nice to see Keenum slinging it around as well.
  21. Yep, tried to watch the show some this week and she is just bad. Not her fault, I guess, but wow, what an awful choice.
  22. Kinda, sorta feels like karma on Saleh and the Jests after that b.s. late hit on Hurts in a preseason game.
  23. There is absolutely a real strategy to betting on the preseason. Some coaches do play to win, and knowing their tendencies and how they use their rosters can create an edge.
  24. I learned one thing in that thread we should all take note of: @ScottLaw has NEVER liked McDermott. His first comment: "Coach McEgo knows more than everyone." Well, Scott, he sure as hell knows more than you.
