  1. Yeah...I mean, I understand why all of the media right now is talking about how Watson could start W1 pending court action but the odds are realistically probably less than 1%.
  2. The CBA is very specific and says the Commissioner's (or his delegee's) decision on this appeal is final and binding. Those provisions were agreed to by the players and owners. The basis for the suit would be to challenge the CBA itself -- which isn't happening. Watson isn't suiting up W1.
  3. Is your worry that he won't call the right plays? Won't manage a game well? I mean, right now everyone talks about Daboll as if he was the greatest OC ever but while he was here he was constantly criticized for how he called games. I'm pretty confident in Dorsey. The fact he played QB and knows the importance of getting plays in quickly is a plus. If you read that entire article, you also realize he has been cutting-edge his entire coaching career and has been preparing for this over the past 20+ years. I think we're in good hands.
  4. They had that in 2020 and 2021.
  5. This is an awesome recap to combat some of endless droning of those who complain about "ignoring the offense" while at the same time failing to acknowledge that getting this D-line right is perhaps the biggest key to the Bills getting out of the AFC.
  6. No Marv Levy thread is complete without this; happy birthday Marv!
  7. @HereComesTheReignAgain well done! If this ever happened it would be epic...particularly "Creep" for the Browns.
  8. What exactly is the penalty to a team if their owner is suspended for three months? I don't even understand that; it certainly doesn't impact the football operations.
  9. LOL. That's right, KC and the other AFC teams see the Bills on the schedule and say "easy win." Are you for real?
  10. I love that you called him Don
  11. The "look at this amazingly accurate Tua throw with zip" stuff being tweeted by their beat writers is pretty funny. Remember good old friend Marcel Louis-Jacques? He's now ESPN's Miami guy and is leading the charge.
  12. I think these two Andrew Brandt tweets nailed this pretty succinctly. Robinson's "punishment" makes no sense, and this all smells rotten. Andrew Brandt 1 Andrew Brandt 2
  13. These are good points and I agree. 12 games would send the appropriate message, and nobody outside of Cleveland will lose any sleep over it.
  14. There is NO way the Bills come out “flat” in the NFL opener in prime time. The difference in circumstances between this and last year’s openers is drastic. If anyone should be concerned it is Rams fans. I’m not at all suggesting this game is a “lock” for Buffalo but they have all the motivation in the world and an arguably better roster, led by the best QB in the league.
  15. You know what I took from that article? Josh is the f***ing bomb! (not that I didn’t already know that) Wishing Mitch luck in Pittsburgh, except for when the Squealers visit Buffalo.
  16. KC until proven otherwise; they still have the best QB and best HC in the division. Chargers are the popular pick but unless Staley gets a lot better he’s holding them back. And people criticize McD’s game day management! There is also this assumption that Herbert gets better, but that’s not a given. I typically don’t buy into the “snake bitten” argument but it’s hard to look past the Chargers’ run of bad luck. This team should compete for the division title and make the playoffs but I have no confidence in them. I throw the Raiders and Broncos into a hat to determine who finishes 3rd/4th. Raiders were a nice gutty story last year and Carr likely swayed a lot of his detractors; the addition of Adams is no joke and McDaniels is a proven play caller. I don’t love their D outside of the pass rush, and in a QB-driven AFC that’s a big issue. Denver should have a much improved offense for obvious reasons, and the RB is legit. Their “no name” defense is also very good. 3rd place finisher in this division will be in a nail biter for a WC spot.
  17. The D line is the reason the Bills' seasons ended when they did in 2020 and 2021. Not -- despite what some posters continue to suggest -- because of the OL. Josh can overcome a bad to average OL. Look what Burrow did last year, and he's no Josh. Beane's priorities are absolutely in the right place.
  18. Given the language in Robinson's decision, Roger can now lay the hammer down. I won't be surprised one bit if this becomes a full 1-year suspension.
  19. Too late.
  20. Fixed for accuracy.
  21. A bunch of us suggested that, and I believe Beane himself confirmed it. Last year was a wash for Moss.
  22. I'll be floored if Goodell doesn't up the suspension.
