    There is absolutely a real strategy to betting on the preseason. Some coaches do play to win, and knowing their tendencies and how they use their rosters can create an edge.

    It just underscores how crucial the QB position is. Ballard has built an excellent roster and Reich seems to be a decent coach, but if you don't have that QB... The Colts don't "scare" me this year like they did last year, because I believe the Bills' D is going to be nasty and Josh just keeps getting better. But they'll be good.

    We’ve always had a good time in Fells Point as well…but I haven’t been in a few years so don’t know if anything has changed. Seemed pretty safe to us, and lots of bars/restaurants. This game would have been a no-brained for me, typically, but since I’m going to both LA and Miami in weeks 1 and 3 this trip was not in the cards.

    Keenum had a 98 QB rating that year. He played well. This is not some s-h-i-t-t-y backup.
