Buffalo Bills rookies report to training camp today!
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't say petty...I'd say uber-sarcastic. And if Badol and his ilk ever tried to communicate in the way you laid out your third paragraph there would be a lot more harmony on this board, in my opinion. Injuries are always a concern, for every team. I think the Bills offense is extremely versatile and even if Diggs or Davis go down for a bit I am not a gloom-and-doomer. How many NFL teams won't miss a beat if their #1 or #2 outside receivers miss time? I'm not going to say that just because so-and-so doesn't have a certain length arm he can't fill in for a spell on the outside. I believe the Bills will look at what everyone can do in training camp and we'll see a variety of looks. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks. -
I’m not worried. Josh is a generational leader like MJ, Kobe, LeBron, etc. Sorry to mix sports but those players willed their teams to championships and I’m confident Josh will do the same.

I don’t know how anyone can be excited about this rookie class when there is a HUGE PROBLEM AT THE BILLS’ LACK OF DEPTH AT BOUNDARY RECEIVER.- 79 replies

Which is kind of like every free agent, ever. I'm kidding a bit, but particularly for a veteran who knows it may be his last contract, I'm sure Haden has a number he will and won't play for.

Thanks, but I was more interested in what Poyer said (if anything).
-
It won’t surprise me if the orientation of the stadium and its architectural design are planned to mitigate the impact of wind, in particular.

Live in person? Numerous Bills games, but “The Comeback” takes the prize. I’ve seen lots of dramatic moments live on TV. Hard to choose one.

I think Tennessee takes a step back this season. Houston and Jacksonville will both be better (although not good). It’s Indy’s division to lose unless Matty Ice suddenly looks old.
-
Like most of you, I’m a little concerned about the start of the season when it comes to Tre’s recovery. Bringing in a guy like Haden would do a lot to ease those concerns.

I’d say you appear to be on the fast train to nomorepostingprivileges-land.

I refuse to listen to a Tyreek Hill podcast. Can anyone summarize what was said specifically about the game?

And Beane drafted Cody Ford, and Gabe Davis' legs are too thick, and Tremaine Edmunds doesn't make any plays, and if half of our starters get hurt we don't have enough depth...

Preach. It's mind boggling to me. This team is literally on the cusp of greatness, led by a QB who may wind up as one of the best of all time.
-
Damn straight!

It is, but mostly because you get to see so many of the great wins along the way. I have no interest re-watching any of the Super Bowls. And yes, I did get misty watching FFoB.

What season as a fan do you wish 2022 avenges for you?
eball replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've got to say I don't really understand the premise of this thread at all. A Super Bowl win will cement the greatest season in Buffalo Bills history. It doesn't "avenge" anything. -
I think when you go back and look at those teams, you probably see some pretty obvious explanations for why they did not have sustained success. I don't see that with the Bills. It seems the only people still wringing their hands over 13 seconds are the fan base. I'll put it this way; I certainly hope you're wrong and I don't expect there to be a letdown.
-
Oh, I don't know, maybe something like "hey guys, new to the board, looks like a great place to talk Bills football. I'm concerned that the hangover from that 13-second meltdown against the Chiefs is going to linger...am I alone here?" So, Dr Bob, do you have anything concrete to support your concern that the Bills "won't recover" from the KC loss? Or are you just a long time Bills fan suffering from BBFS who doesn't believe anything good can happen to the team? Do you think Josh Allen is overconfident or not as good as we think he is? Do you think Von Miller is over the hill? Give us something, man, other than "we're doomed, 9 wins." Cheers and welcome to the board.
-
Yes, they do. There has been talk that the new purchaser may obtain rights for this season. We will know more by the fall.
-
I think there is very little chance of that happening. If it does, it's going to be for this season only.

My “from a long ways away” viewpoint on Baker is that he doesn’t appear to be a guy who takes very much accountability when things aren’t going well — very much a “blame and make excuses” guy rather than a “look at myself” guy. Obviously I’ve not been in the locker room so this is just an outsider’s opinion. I think Baker has the talent to be a “decent” NFL QB and have a lengthy career, if he ever learns to adapt and grow as an adult.

My Man, Chandler81 RIP (Bobby, not me. Don’t get your hopes up)

Ed Kilgore a bit too “hands-on” in that interview, no? -
She’s pretty effing funny. Her “NFL meeting” videos are top drawer. Edit: oh, and I just looked at the Pats*** roster — “strong group?”
