  1. Right, hence my comment that only four of those were called Thursday night.
  2. And this is the crux of why Lamar not having an agent will crush both he and the Ravens. Lamar needs the Ravens and their dedication to designing the offense solely around him, and the Ravens need Lamar because otherwise they are starting over. An agent would talk some sense into Lamar. This is actually sad.
  3. But Fish fans said it was underthrown and Tua is criticized too much. I’m torn.
  4. Old f**ker! Wait, that’s my age too. Damn. Have a great day.
  5. I think we have to come to the conclusion that Josh will not continue running only when he can’t continue running. It’s part of what makes him so special. There were only FOUR designed JA runs on Thursday night. His other runs were scrambles. They don’t want to beat him up, but his ability to make plays on the run is also what makes him so damn dangerous, particularly in the red zone. I’ve stopped worrying about it. Injuries will happen, and there’s nothing I can do about it. I love watching JA play, and that includes his running.
  6. It’s rare to have the kind of night the Bills’ DL had Thursday, and expecting the same or similar results each week will leave us disappointed. Frazier and McD are going to game plan differently for different teams as well. I imagine we’ll sit back against Tannehill but blitz Tua aggressively, for example. It’s going to be an evolution, but there’s no question the early results are incredibly encouraging. Love that Bruce said before the season started that he thinks it is collectively the best DL the Bills have ever had — or at least since he played.
  7. Dude in the 3rd photo…awesome. 🤣
  8. After watching Thursday night it’s hard to argue with your logic. The Bills were lucky to get out of there with a W.
  9. I don’t believe this author understands the meaning of “overhyped.” That term is used to describe a team that is seemingly unworthy of the attention they are receiving. Nothing about the makeup of the 2022 Buffalo Bills suggests it is unreasonable to pick them to win the championship. Overhyped is when you pick the Pats*** to make the playoffs simply because “BB is still the coach” and “Mac will certainly take a 2nd year jump.”
  10. Not to mention the fact that the Bills don’t have a 2nd string OL that would start for many other teams. Huge oversight by Beane.
  11. I’m not sure who, but some prescient soul on this board made this exact statement the day Beach Chairs was hired.
  12. I’m just looking forward to watching Red Zone on my flight back from LA, knowing my Bills already took care of business.
  13. Glad I watched that…it even made me feel better about Josh’s “bad” interception. Not nearly the bad throw I thought it was seeing it live. The throw was a touch behind but Crowder didn’t help him out either. Good play by the DB.
  14. “If we could have just stopped the three explosive plays, then it’s essentially a 10-10 game.” 😂 Ahh, the land of self-deception…as Bills fans during the drought we know it well. Good on Jalen for at least giving the Bills and Allen some props.
  15. Don’t forget Saffold and Quessenberry as well.
  16. Nah. February 12-13 will be better.
  17. Yeah I really jump the gun. I’ve pretty much nailed the Bills’ trajectory since 2019 while you bemoaned nearly every Beane and McD decision and predicted teams like the Jets and Browns would overtake us.
  18. If this team gets any more likable I’m not going to know what to do.
  19. Several??? This guy has a worse record of being right than a broken clock.
  20. Today's Joe B article in the Athletic suggests they are specifically limiting Diggs’ snaps in an effort to keep him fresher and improve his efficiency. He played about 67% last night compared to mid-80s last year. Davis played almost every snap, which makes sense given his blocking prowess. I don’t think it’s an injury thing, but it bears watching how the snap counts go next week.
  21. All I’m going to say is that I was ridiculed for suggesting the Bills might punt an average of less than three times per game this year. It’s early, but I’ll stand by that prediction.
  22. I almost started a new thread but then saw this one. Here’s the terrifying question for the rest of the league: what if the Bills offense is better under Dorsey than they were under Daboll? It’s an admittedly small sample but that was an absolutely masterful game plan.
