Incorrect. Our head coach that was a defensive coordinator prior knew we had cap issues that needed to be addressed - and that in year 3 he'd have almost $92 million to help build the roster with the GM.
I'm guessing he meant rookie contract and not rookie season. In saying that - you just have to see with the boat load of cap space they have and hope they accomplish it.
All our best players are young, we have a ton of cap space next year along with 3 1st round picks and several young players in Rochester playing extremely well. We are going to be good for a very long time.
Then why have rules at all? Everybody just do what ever you want. Everyone challenges everything now.
Those jackets are not just normal jackets - they are the ones made to go over players wearing equipment - how hard is it to understand?
My wifes a teacher and the kids have changed. It's because there's parents like you that say - is it really that big a deal that he was a few minutes late?
I almost always agree with this philosophy accept with our how team is constructed now. I'll always and forever say the most difficult thing to find are WR's. Picks are difficult to evaluate and good free agents rarely become available. I think we have to look WR in the first - therefore I trade if I have to to draft closer to evaluation but that's what I'm picking. We have a ton of cap space and I know we can fill the other holes in free agency.
Edit: after QB of course
If he plays it comes down to: is he ready to go with limited practice time and two more days of rest - or are they playing him hurt because they're idiots.
Usually not to this degree but this happens all time. When you don't get the proper "football" work in - this sport will chew you up and spit you out. It's brutal.
GM's everywhere make incorrect decisions on players, coaches, draft picks, trades, etc. Doug Whaley is very smart and there's no reason to think he's not capable. Regardless of how you think the XFL will do.
I don't think you get pissed - when you know you're not good enough. We saw a lot of that from the Sabres. They just weren't as talented as the other team most nights and when they didn't show emotion - most thought it was because they didn't care about winning. However when Eichel got pissed - he got maligned for being an immature hot head.
There's a particular dejection when you are certain you can't win. Would you feel better if Zay Jones, Vlad Ducasse or Clay showed being upset on the field/sidelines or in an interview?
What if Shady showed or started talking about being "pissed"? Would it do something positive? I think most people would either call him out or say he's doing that because he wants out.
We just aren't talented enough on offense to compete. I find it ridiculous for anyone to get upset and that includes fans.
