  1. With these enlightened modern strategies for successful marriages - how come the results aren't getting better?
  2. It might be just me but I think we do well in free agency. We target players and get them all the time.
  3. Thanks for taking the time. Honest mistake by the OP looks like.
  4. I think as a fanbase we undervalued Wood. He was fantastic at his position and we sorely missed him. Each position on the line is important so I don't like to say "most important". However if I had to, I'd say Center and the tackles are 1A and 1B and guards are second.
  5. He's one of the great defensive minds to ever coach. Maybe there's room for long time coordinators like Wade and Norv to get into the hall. They've shaped many players careers.
  6. This is what happens when you don't find a QB. It leaves you wondering who's fault it is. I get the feeling Allen succeeds no matter what Daboll does or doesn't do, etc. I think he's going to make several guys very wealthy.
  7. I sometimes cringe when our greats of yesteryear opine or are seemingly too involved> This feels a little different. When one of the great leaders at his position says this: I need to tell him some things that I saw that he was not doing that he needs to make sure are instilled in his mind, that I don't know if he's been told. I go find out what he says he saw. Sometimes it's those moments of something said just the right way or shown in just the right light - that can make the biggest difference.
  8. Who's his brother? Guess the joke flew over your head, haha.
  9. I don't know who else they have to sign but they gave big money to Hightower and Gilmore. I would think they'd try to sign him.
  10. Are we sure he's been with Palmer? I thought I read something about him resting since the end of the season?
  11. I really like this post. I agree that it's critical to have a handful of special players that can change the game for you.
  12. I'm with you on Ansah. He'll get some sacks but he doesn't put pressure on the QB consistently throughout a game. I don't know how we get one but I'd be willing to spend in FA or a high draft pick on someone that gets after the QB.
  13. After you find your QB spend the most on: DE Corners Wide Receivers OT
  14. I'll give you a hint. The fake quote wasn't in the espn piece......
  15. So there's no correlation to causation? Got it.
  16. He was a pretty amazing athlete for a man his size and ridiculously strong. Just goes to show how incredible these NFL players are - when you can make an athletic massive human being look totally inadequate.
  17. That's an awful lot to pay. You can sign a free agent that would be better than that second round pick for the Bortles money.
  18. Nah man, don't be ashamed of it. We're a team totally void of offensive players that can change the game. If one becomes available we should always be interested.
  19. Ok. You said don't be surprised - I most certainly would be.
  20. Sorry I missed that part but my second point still stands. If a coach is out of challenges the Saints debacle could happen again. It's a tough issue to fix.
  21. I believe there's no chance of this happening.

  23. The only thing left to determine with your solution is how many times can you challenge the calls you've described. If it's unlimited the games would be incredibly long and if you limit them, you may not have a challenge left. For example say the Saints didn't have a challenge left when that pass interference wasn't called? It's a tough problem to fix.
