I think as a fanbase we undervalued Wood. He was fantastic at his position and we sorely missed him. Each position on the line is important so I don't like to say "most important". However if I had to, I'd say Center and the tackles are 1A and 1B and guards are second.

He's one of the great defensive minds to ever coach. Maybe there's room for long time coordinators like Wade and Norv to get into the hall. They've shaped many players careers.

This is what happens when you don't find a QB. It leaves you wondering who's fault it is. I get the feeling Allen succeeds no matter what Daboll does or doesn't do, etc. I think he's going to make several guys very wealthy.

I really like this post. I agree that it's critical to have a handful of special players that can change the game for you.

I'm with you on Ansah. He'll get some sacks but he doesn't put pressure on the QB consistently throughout a game. I don't know how we get one but I'd be willing to spend in FA or a high draft pick on someone that gets after the QB.

He was a pretty amazing athlete for a man his size and ridiculously strong. Just goes to show how incredible these NFL players are - when you can make an athletic massive human being look totally inadequate.

Sorry I missed that part but my second point still stands. If a coach is out of challenges the Saints debacle could happen again. It's a tough issue to fix.

The only thing left to determine with your solution is how many times can you challenge the calls you've described. If it's unlimited the games would be incredibly long and if you limit them, you may not have a challenge left. For example say the Saints didn't have a challenge left when that pass interference wasn't called? It's a tough problem to fix.
