  1. It could be a contract with little guaranteed money. We need to see the details first. Low guarantee would essentially make it a prove it deal that we could get out of if he doesn't play well. IMO, it's a good signing this time of year as a safety net.
  2. I wouldn't pay John Brown half of what he'll likely get in free agency.
  3. I really like this years draft. There is so much defensive potential that we either get one or it leaves us in a great spot for a WR.
  4. Not to single you out but I'll never understand this suggestion that gets said every year. If you're good enough to be drafted at 15 - you're good enough to be drafted 9th.
  5. If AB was a free agent and I could sign him for his current contract I wouldn't. There's no way I'm giving up a high draft pick too.
  6. That player would be much more expensive. At some point the Bills need to make decisions on filling holes at a value. I'm not saying we should sign Iupati but we should be looking at these less expensive options after some due diligence is done.
  7. You formulate incorrectly again. Not being sold is a conclusion and without enough knowledge is faulty not strength.
  8. I don't think we're soft - I just think we get frustrated with people like you. You take these hard stances and you as quick as anyone can't handle debate. There are no other points of view, except yours. You're actually the soft one but you can't see it. There's no way you can have enough knowledge to say you're not sold on the GM.
  9. You're playing dumb and I've said multiple times I'll accept that as an admittance you're wrong. You're pride won't let you go through with it totally. You incorrectly put marijuana use and one time DUI's in the same sentence - feeling the NFL is asinine for concerning themselves with it. It's not debatable that smoking dope anywhere outside of a car and driving while impaired shouldn't be thought of as about the same offenses. They aren't linked in any way. You agree, so I safely assume you incorrectly typed that sentence.
  10. I said something negative towards you, so I edited. I'm glad I caused you to mention God.
  11. I get that you're trying to back away from having an incorrect thought and I appreciate it. Awareness is a good start to stopping the horrific epidemic of driving under the influence.
  12. I accept your admittance you were wrong. It's hard for you, I know.
  13. Then add speeding to the list that needs more serious punishment. That doesn't make smoking dope and a DUI an equivalent in terms of seriousness. IMO, they are on opposite sides of the spectrum. Using your logic, beating a woman doesn't necessarily mean she'll die - so speeding is an equivalent. A DUI is a disgusting act. Getting lucky you didn't kill anyone shouldn't be something taken so flippant, IMO.
  14. I can't agree with you on the DUI part. I find it among the most egregious offenses. You literally risk killing people when you so selfishly get behind that wheel. It's not punished harshly enough.
  15. I acknowledged and addressed that. Go back and read my post.
  16. Tough one for me. We are a team almost completely void of star players. Guys that are among the best at their position. Athletic freaks that change games. You need 'em and we don't have 'em. Is it possible to get them later in the first - yes, should it be easier/more likely to get one at 9 - yes Free agency will be the answer to this trade, which has me leaning towards keeping the 9th. Based on Beane's free agency judicious approach, we need a star to come out of the draft.
  17. I don't believe Harry will be available anywhere near 40.
  18. Yeah he's answered the question over and over and over again. So let's talk about if he really really really means it. Great thread start - you are simply a wonder.
  19. I think 216 is a little small for a linebacker. Unless you're a special teams standout - you often (now) do need to actually play the position you're assigned to.
  20. "The great debate" What is going on around here?
  21. Admire Kraft for giving Brady ridiculously less money than his peers and Brady seemingly so happy about it they kiss each other? There's something against the rules going on and I don't admire a thing about that.
  22. I think Romo mentioned this a couple times during the broadcast. He said they changed up going to the line of scrimmage and started huddling to not allow Belichick to communicate with his defense. Didn't work but that was supposedly the reasoning.
  23. You don't think season ticket holders deserve a little extra communication?
