  1. That doesn't make any sense. Just because Jackson is taller and heavier doesn't mean he's a fighter and can easily take the smaller guy out. There's too many examples dispelling the bigger guy always wins.
  2. I didn't say he fights fair - I said he's nuts. He's unusually strong for his size and he'd give that young man a lot of problems.
  3. I don't think after a rookie season with Allen anything is set in stone on Offense. I think you run jet sweeps when you have OL issues. I'm not sure if you're trying to trip me up in some way but TE drag routes often include a fake jet sweep - so I'm not sure what you're getting at? Is a drag route the only thing you're interested in our TE's doing? I disagree with you that this offense couldn't have a pass catching TE contribute.
  4. We have 2 in the 4th, 5th and 7th.
  5. There's something mentally wrong with Steve Smith and I'm being serious. Even when he's commentating on the NFL network - he just seems ready to blow. Then when he tries to switch and pretend he's playful - that's equally as weird. He's an uncomfortable human being to be around. I'm not so sure that would be as easy as you suggest. Smith can handle himself.
  6. You're asking me why the ran more isolation plays for a man nicknamed "the human joystick" than the Buffalo Bills tight ends? I'm not making fun but just read that back. The reason I think the Bills would use any tight end (drafted or FA) is it's nearly impossible we won't have a battery OL and Josh Allen. I 100% do not want them to draft a tight end in round 1 or 2 - so not sure why you're telling me that.
  7. That's correct. If your offensive line sucks your TE will not get used and ultimately the QB will dictate how a TE is used. The argument that this OC uses TE's and this one doesn't is so difficult to prove. What can be proven is if your o line can't block the tight ends have to stay. What is also proven is if your QB can't handle the play calling - forget about adding the TE tree and you can 100% forget about two TE sets.
  8. It will have very little to do with Daboll if a TE succeeds in the offense.
  9. IMO WR is the most difficult position to fill in free agency. Excellent ones rarely become available. I don't think we can afford to use either our first round or second round pick on a TE because I think it's critical one of those rounds is a WR. I just don't see us going WR and TE. I agree that a top flight TE would be nice but I think we'll have to wait a little longer for that to be a reality high in the draft.
  10. This sounds great until you realize how very difficult it is to find WR's.
  11. Who cares. We have meddling owners that have no idea how to run an organization and are cheap.
  12. It feels more like having a garage sale and then using the money to go garage sale shopping.
  13. That organization is absolutely coo coo.
  14. RB's just don't have long careers hardly anymore.
  15. They win and they've been great at it. It does however bother me that they are talked about as doing it the right way - the Patriot way. They are shrewd and will try and win by any means. I'ts ultra effective but there's a stench around how they've done it that once again the media ignores. They are not dripping with integrity and that's why they aren't revered by the fans (not just Buffalo).
  16. He's the exact opposite type of receiver we need. I think at least Daboll knows this and it should never happen.
  17. Yes and our GM also admits this year is much less stressful. Now can you imagine if Allen turns out to be a really good quarterback? The job of every single other person in the building gets easier. Building a team allows you to make all kinds of different decisions and even make some mistakes.
  18. I like McD just fine but I'm done listening. I don't care if he said 21, 25, 35 or 50. It's all words - get it done. We've had a few acceptable passing seasons in the past 2 decades+. Build an NFL offense and spend everything possible on it. If we draft a DT with that first pick.....
  19. Heck we're at 9 and I'm interested in trading back. It's the benefit of having made your choice at QB.
  20. Because it's an answer - that's how it's an answer. Saying Duke doesn't count in the calculation (yet) doesn't answer the success rate. What's the problem?
  21. Sounds about right.
  22. How does that answer the question? When did I say Duke Williams played in the NFL prior and failed?
