  1. I didn't post what you responded to. How did that happen?
  2. I'm not saying please for either of these players.
  3. And would take less money so they could sign a back up snapper if he had to.
  4. Pretty sure that ship has sailed. I hope Allen becomes the type of QB he regrets not being with. That right now, is my thought process about this whole thing.
  5. It's equal to the 5th most draft capital in the league. You're actually wrong on both accounts. We have a lot of picks and we have a lot of draft capital. I mean get emotional about it if you want. Those are the facts.
  6. Which the Bills never heard because it didn't get that far.
  7. You said we don't have a lot of picks. That is incorrect. So you think you were debating the Raiders picks vs the Bills? I guess you were having that conversation with yourself.
  8. That's because there's zero evidence that he nixed anything.
  9. If he were to report for a physical and pass he could still refuse to play. In that scenario, the team a player is traded to has to deal with that issue. That's why it makes sense that the Bills said no to the deal because they didn't talk to Brown's camp.
  10. That's cut except credible sources saying the Bills weren't granted permission to talk to Brown's rep.
  11. Good move for them. He's a really good player.
  12. There's multiple reports saying everything from he wouldn't show up in Buffalo, to the Bills never got to the point of talking to Brown about what he wanted in a revised contract, to what he wanted was more than the Bills were willing to pay. What Brown is flirting with is he may only have until Sunday when teams start pre-spending their free agency money with Wednesday being the official. He could be in a situation where a lot of teams have spent their money and there isn't enough room to take on his contract. Whatever happened, he may have cost himself money or potentially trapped himself into the Steelers not trading him at all.
  13. Ultimately Allen will decide whether Beane is a good GM or not. We've had some good teams, with top running teams and top defensive teams. Just being in a healthy cap situation isn't a sign of a good GM. They do to some degree and build the team they want. In other words, Beane will spend the money and we'll see what type of team he fills it up with. The failure of the previous regime's has largely been the inability to find a QB.
  14. However was Yolo said earlier and makes sense. There's no way the Bills go through all this without asking the agent if he'd come. Especially if we offer to work on a new contract.
  15. Just FYI, the story running again on NFL Network now. Rapoport saying still some details being worked out but should be done.
